The purpose of this research is to identify the perceptions of the efficacy of curriculum development on the part of pedagogical formation students, their views regarding their professional attitudes, and their attitudes towards the pedagogical formation education they receive via distance education. The study sample includes 438 Near East University students who received pedagogical formation education via distance education. The sample consisted of 235 pedagogical formation students to implement the efficacy scale, 290 to implement the attitude scale, and 73 who took part in semi-structured interviews. In the study, it was concluded the students generally perceive themselves as being sufficiently prepared in terms of curriculum development. There are no differences with regard to the overall professional attitude of the students. Students generally reported positive views regarding the education they receive.
The purpose of this study is to determine the recent trends in foreign language learning through mobile learning. The study was conducted employing document analysis and related content analysis among the qualitative research methodology. Through the search conducted on Scopus database with the key words "mobile learning and foreign language learning", the study is based on the analysis of the documents published between the years 2005 and 2017; their distribution took place by years, subject areas, document types, country/regions, and the affiliated universities of the authors. The varied findings revealed that the analysis of the studies published on Scopus database was important in terms of content for the significance of foreign language learning through mobile learning.
Special education is one of the educational fields in which technology plays a significant role. Mobile technologies change our lifestyles as well as the way we learn. Mobile learning is the use of mobile technologies alone or in combination with other information and communication technologies to enable learning any-where, anytime. Technology integration studies in the literature generally focus on visual dictionaries, sign language, vocabulary exer-cises or story books. Besides, it is seen that the studies report the results, not the process. However, there are few studies describing the whole technology integra-tion process with a holistic approach.
