Initially a detailed theoretical background regarding this construct has been presented followed by highlighting the components and objectives of strategizing human resource management. Lastly, the models and perspectives pertaining to strategic human resource management have also been discussed considering their application and relevance in modern-day organizations.

The novel coronavirus (COVID-19) poses unprecedented challenges to global economy and international development and has become a humanitarian crisis affecting millions of lives and livelihoods throughout the world. It affects almost every economic activity and operation and at the same time poses a threat to every sector of the economy, people, places, and businesses. COVID-19 brought not only crisis, disruptions, and challenges but also bred fertile ground for opportunities, innovations, and digitalization of economic sectors. In this context, this chapter focuses keenly on the economic impacts of the COVID-19 crisis, including the economic challenges and opportunities it creates, and accordingly, recommendations have been presented.
Performance appraisal systems are very effective and invaluable tools for ensuring the smooth performance and progress of any organization. Human resources in any organization cannot be fully functional until their performance is evaluated. Robert Half has rightly said that there is something that is much more scarce, something rarer than ability, that is the ability to recognize ability. In this backdrop, this chapter gives a detailed account of what performance appraisal systems stand for apart from focusing on their importance and evolution across time. The traditional and modern methods of performance appraisal systems have been juxtaposed so as to get key insights regarding what way the appraisal systems should go ahead so as to survive the test of time. It has been recommended that researchers should gear their efforts for fine-tuning the appraisal systems in a way that proper indicators are brought into consideration so as to increase their efficacy as tools of organizational effectiveness.
The present study is based on a systematic research review. Systematic review is to identify, evaluate, and summaries the findings of all relevant studies. Systematic reviews represent one of the most important forms of research evidences upon which clinicians, their patients and policy makers rely when making decisions. The review of literature is significant constituent of the research process and should be carried out in an organized manner. It involves a systematic identification, location and analysis of documents containing information related to the research problem. The reason of reviewing literature is to determine what has already done by the scientific community related to the research problem and to gain a notion regarding different aspects of the subject matter understudy. The major objective of the current study is to conduct a systematic review on Suicidal behavior in borderline Personality disorder among adolescents.
