Communication is one of the bases to determine teaching success. Teaching success is described from how well teachers can communicates to their students. The aim of this study to investigate: (1) The teachers’ ability to communicate towards the improvement of students’ learning interest in SD IT Ummi Darussalam Bandar Setia. (2) The supporting and obstacles factors of communication that teachers have in teaching. This research is a type of qualitative study applying direct observation, in-depth interviews and document analysis of data collection. The results of this study prove that teachers’ communication in increasing students’ learning interest in Elementary School of IT Ummi Darussalam is not good. That happens because there are obstacles that affect miscommunication between them i.e. the teacher has not been able to manage the classroom and master the teaching well by using Bahasa Indonesia in explaining the lesson inside or outside the classroom, so that it affects students’ learning interest in Elementary School of IT Ummi Darussalam
This article has a purpose to find out the development of the elementary student psychomotor which carried out in SDN Demangan, Yogyakarta. The development is related to the activity using fingers to do a variety of activities such as drawing. This research used descriptive qualitative method and to quest the data it used observation, interviews and documentation method by observing the development of the student psychomotor. The focus of this research is on finding: 1) how the development of the student psychomotor whether it is reached or not, 2) how the factors that affect the development of the student psychomotor, 3) how the solution to the development of the student psychomotor. The result are: 1) the development of the student psychomotor which is reached and not, it is marked by the coordination of nerve and well fingers movement, so the student obtains the result of the good drawing, 2) the factor that affects the development of the student psychomotor, there are two factors; internal and external. Internal factor is influenced from genetic factor and the external is from the surrounding environment to support the development, 3) the solution is to anticipate the problems of the development of the student psychomotor by seeking the training and giving guidance toward the student to motivate them achieving the development.Keywords: Development, psychomotor, children, elementary school
Madrasah memiliki peran strategis dalam pembangunan bangsa. Saat ini pendidikan madrasah masih dianggap pendidikan “kelas dua”. Hal ini terjadi karena penyelenggaraan madrasah masih menghadapi sejumlah masalah besar mulai seperti persoalan pengelolaan dan rendahnya mutu pendidikan madrasah. Tulisan ini dimaksudkan untuk memberi gambaran tentang kiprah madrasah dalam sistem pendidikan di Indonesia, permasalahan madrasah, peluang, dan tantangan madrasah. Madrasah telah menjadi bagian dari sistem pendidikan nasional. Metode yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah studi kepustakaan dengan mengumpulkan data sekunder dari berbagai sumber buku dan jurnal, kemudian melakukan analisis deskriptif data yang dipaparkan secara detil. Berbagai persoalan dihadapi madrasah antara lain pengelolaan pendidikan, kesenjangan antara negeri dan swasta, mutu madrasah, sampai kepada peluang dan tantangan tersendiri bagi madrasah di Indonesia pada saat ini.

The leaders of educational institutions have full responsibility in carrying out improving the quality of education. This study aims to introduce leadership typologies in improving the quality of Islamic education in madrasas, ranging from the type of leadership, the leadership process of madrasa heads to the implementation of leadership in madrassas in improving quality. This research uses a literature study method. As for the results of this study indicate the role of leadership in carrying out its duties to members include: (a) Making decisions. (b) Developing the imagination; (c) Developing the loyalty of followers; (d) Control of the plan; (e) Utilizing human resources and other resources. (f) Carry out controls and corrections for errors; (g) Give a token of appreciation; (h) Delegating authority to subordinates; (i) Implement decisions by giving encouragement to followers.
This study examines the effect of the snake and ladder game on Islamic history Fathu Mecca learning outcomes based on observations at the SD (Elementary School) Muhammadiyah in Indonesia. Students have been shown to acquire standard competency through the study of Islamic history. This course is very important to build a strong Muslim identity, especially in Islamic School Muhammadiyah. Meanwhile, the snake and ladder game has been used by several educators in the teaching and learning process. This game positively influences students’ learning outcomes. Therefore, the authors developed and integrated Islamic history into the snake and ladder game board. This research was a quantitative study conducted on 60 fifth-grade students divided into experiment and control classes. Furthermore, the data were collected using observation, interview, and t-test hypotheses. The results showed that the snake and ladder game positively affects students’ learning outcomes in studying Islamic history. Based on the result, this game provides opportunities for students to explore, identify, practice, and understand concepts. The teachers are expected to encourage students to develop skills for discovering knowledge through an inspiring and fun learning atmosphere.
