Caring is a nursing action based on the desire to understand, help and reduce suffering by taking the best actions for health. Caring behavior must also be given to Covid-19 patients. The research objective was to determine the adaptation of nurses' caring behavior in Covid-19 patients in the RSUD Dr. Isolation room. M. Yunus Bengkulu. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, involving 10 participants as research subjects. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews and observations observing the caring behavior of nurses in providing nursing services to Covid-19 patients. Data analysis techniques include transcripts of interview results, data reduction, analysis, data interpretation and triangulation, which are then concluded. The results of the study were obtained, all the participants had applied aspects of caring, namely caring, responsible, friendly, calm, patient, always ready, motivating, empathetic towards Covid-19 patients and their families, even though there was worry and anxiety in themselves participant. Conclusion, nurses still have caring behavior in providing nursing care and can adapt to apply caring behavior to Covid-19 patients sincerely even though as individuals they have a sense of concern. It is suggested that the spirit of caring should always be turned on in nurses, this requires support from management in improving the physical, mental and spiritual health of nurses so that nurses can provide professional nursing services. ABSTRAKKesejahteraan spiritual merupakan salah satu faktor penunjang kesembuhan pasien. Kesejahteraan spiritual pada pasien CKD sangat penting untuk diperhatikan. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan jenis rancangan penelitian Studi Deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Sampel yang diambil adalah 10 orang pasien CKD maksimal 8 kali yang melakukan hemodialisa. Instrument pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuesioner dari Ellison yaitu kuesioner Spiritual Well Being Scale (SWBS). Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan lebih dari sebagian (60%) responden memiliki kesejahteraan spiritual dalam katagori baik. Responden dengan nilai kesejahteraan spiritual baik menganggap bahwa penyakitnya adalah ujian dari Tuhan dan merasa bahwa dibalik penyakitnya pasti ada hikmahnya dan hampir sebagian (40%) responden memiliki kesejahteraan spiritual dalam katagori kurang baik menunjukkan bahwa responden tidak menerima penyakitnya, responden mengatakan bahwa Tuhan itu tidak adil terhadapnya. Peneliti melihat dari wajah responden terlihat sedih, dan merasa putus asa akibat penyakit yang dideritanya. Jadi perlu peran perawat untuk memberi perhatian lebih khususnya pada kesejahteraan spiritual, agar terciptanya tingkat kesejahteraan spiritual pasien CKD yang lebih optimal. This research aims to conduct a basic analysis of policies on learning services during the Covid-19 period towards practice subjects at IAIN Curup Bengkulu Indonesia. This type of research is Research & Development (R&D) by ADDIE at the need assessment stage. Case studies are carried out in the Physical Education course at the Curup state Islamic Institute Bengkulu Indonesia. The population in this study were students of IAIN Curup who took Physical Education courses. The research sample was 238 students. The sampling technique used was the purposive sampling technique and the instrument used was a closed questionnaire. Data were analyzed by using quantitative and qualitative analysis. From this research, it will be obtained the results of an analysis of policies on learning services during the Covid-19 period towards practicing subjects at IAIN Curup. Through this research, it is concluded that most of the policies regarding learning services carried out during the pandemic are still not very good.
Anemia is a health problem in the whole world. Anemia cannot be ignored. Treatment varies depending on the cause, if anemia is severe treatment is given with a blood transfusion. Blood transfusion is an interdependent action that must be given according to standard operating procedures (SOP). The purpose of this study was to determine the description of the procedure for blood transfusion in anemic patients in Jasmine Room Dr. M. Yunus Bengkulu. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study approach, involving 10 informants / research subjects. Data collection through interviews and observation of transfusion procedures by nurses. Data analysis techniques used include interview transcripts, data reduction, analysis, data interpretation and triangulation, data which is then concluded. The results of the study showed that the preparation phase of 9 informants prepared complete tools and preparation of patients 2 did not identify the client. The stage of transfusion installation 10 procedures to re-identify patients not in accordance with the SOP, 4 did not wash hands, 1 did not wear gloves. Post-transfusion stage 10 procedures not in accordance with the SOP on the item paying attention to reactions / complications of transfusion and observation of vital signs. Conclusion blood transfusion installation procedures have been carried out according to the SOP, but have not been implemented properly and perfectly, supervision is still lacking and support facilities are inadequate. It is recommended that the results of the study become a baseline for hospitals in improving the quality of services by increasing routine structured supervision, conducting technical training procedures for transfusion installation, and completing supporting facilities. Hypertension is a health problem that needs attention because of its high morbidity and mortality. hypertension must be treated properly because it causes various kinds of complications. Compliance becomes a form of independence in the management of patients, especially those with hypertension, in the form of a framework that focuses on selfcare. The purpose of this study is to review the literature to determine the percentage of self care management of hypertensive patients. The literature search method was carried out through the CINAHL, DOAJ, and Pubmed database and obtained 30 research articles and then examined the completeness of the menus in the research articles with a total of 15 articles. After that, the criteria and stages of critical review were carried out using the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI) format with a total of 10 articles that were reviewed by literature. The results showed that hypertension self management was in the good category. Further research is needed to provide an intervention strategy for hypertensive patients to improve self-care practices and control of related factors.
Reminiscence therapy interventions for Chronic stress in elderly during pandemic covid-19 Background: The level of stress in the elderly also means the level of pressure felt or experienced by the elderly. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the government recommends social distancing. In addition, self-quarantine has almost a year. Conditions of social distancing or physical distancing can trigger psychological pressure, especially for the elderly who live in orphanages and have chronic diseases. Purpose: To determine the effect of Reminiscence therapy interventions for Chronic stress in elderly during pandemic covid-19Method: This research is a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest and posttest design. The population is 65 elderly, using purposive sampling. This research was 30 elderly, 15 elderly in the control group, and 15 elderly in the intervention group. The instrument is the DASS (stress scale) questionnaire. Data analysis used the Paired Sample t-Test statistical test. The research was done on April June 2021.Results: Finding that the average stress score before and after which in the control group the stress score was before 27.81 with a standard deviation of 4.34 and in the eighth week the stress score decreased to 24.64 with a standard deviation of 4.74. In the intervention group, the stress score before 28.31 with a standard deviation of 4.44 and after being treated for eight weeks decreased to 14.80 with a standard deviation of 5.86. Evidenced by the p-value of 0.001 (α <0.05).Conclusion: The experience of the stress by the elderly with an average standard deviation of 65-89 years. The stress score before reminiscence therapy was 28.31 with a standard deviation of 4.44, and after 8 weeks of reminiscence therapy, it decreased to 14.80 with a standard deviation of 5.86.Keywords: Reminiscence therapy; Chronic stress; Elderly; Pandemic covid-19Pendahuluan: Tingkat stres pada lansia juga berarti tingkat tekanan yang dirasakan atau dialami oleh lansia. Selama pandemi COVID-19, pemerintah merekomendasikan jarak sosial. Selain itu, karantina mandiri telah dilakukan selama hampir satu tahun. Kondisi social distancing atau jarak fisik dapat memicu tekanan psikologis, terutama bagi lansia yang tinggal di panti asuhan dan memiliki penyakit kronis. Tujuan: Mengetahui pengaruh Terapi Reminiscence terhadap tingkat stres pada lansia pada masa pandemi Covid 19 di Panti Sosial Tresna Werdha Kota Bengkulu Tahun 2021.Metode: Penelitian pre-experimental design dengan one-group pretest and posttest design. Populasi adalah 65 partisipan, dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Penelitian ini berjumlah 30 lansia, 15 lansia pada kelompok kontrol dan 15 lansia pada kelompok intervensi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah kuesioner DASS (skala stres). Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik Paired Sample t Test. Penelitian direncanakan akan dilaksanakan pada bulan April Juni 2021.Hasil: Didapatkan bahwa rata-rata skor stres sebelum dan sesudah pada kelompok kontrol skor stres sebelum 27,81 dengan standar deviasi 4,34 dan pada minggu kedelapan skor stres menurun menjadi 24,64 dengan standar deviasi 4,74. Pada kelompok intervensi, skor stres sebelum 28,31 dengan standar deviasi 4,44 dan setelah diberi perlakuan selama delapan minggu menurun menjadi 14,80 dengan standar deviasi 5,86. Dibuktikan dengan nilai p sebesar 0,001 (α < 0,05).Simpulan: Stress dialami oleh lansia dengan usia rata-rata standar deviasi 65-89 tahun. Skor stress sebelum reminiscence therapy adalah 28.31 dengan standar deviasi 4,44, dan setelah dilakukan reminiscence therapy selama 8 minggu terjadi penurunan menjadi 14,80 dengan standar deviasi menjadi 5,86.
Purpose: This study aims to find out further about the burden on families in undertaking caregiving for the elderly with chronic illnesses. Methods: A qualitative study was developed using in-depth interviews with 12 family caregivers selected by purposive sampling in July 2022. The thematic analysis was then carried out using the Colaizzi method, and N-Vivo 12 Qualitative Data Analysis Software was used to assist with the content analysis. Results: The result from the experience interview analysis of caregivers participating in this study were 54 codes which were categorized into thirteen categories. Then, they were derived into four themes, as follows: 1) Physical burden of the caregivers for the elderly with chronic illness, 2) Psychological burden of the caregivers for the elderly with chronic illness, 3) Obstacle of caregivers for the elderly with chronic illness, 4) The state of caregivers who perform caregiving for the elderly with chronic illness. Conclusion: The experience of caregivers in undertaking caregiving for the elderly with chronic disease has many obstacles, such as physical, psychological, and economic burdens. Caregivers often find positive aspects of their experiences while caregiving for the elderly, although their burden also constantly increases. Health facilities should pay serious attention to family caregivers and facilitate programs that can help reduce the burden on family caregivers.
