This study aimed to analyze pointing movement skill of Semarang Petanque athlete. This study was descriptive quantitative design which described systematically facts and characteristics of pointing movement by Semarang Petaque Athlete. The pointing movements as data were descriptive. This analysis used descriptive statistic which measured frequency. This data was taken from Biomechanics aspect of 3 pointing movements of Petaque by 8 men and women players of Semarang city. They were; (1) holding a boule, (2) foot position, and (3) throwing the boule. The measurement was carried out by two national coaches and one international coach of Petaque. The result shows that; 1) the average value of holding a boule is 4.4 or 88% of percentage which categorized as very good, 2) the average value of foot position is 4.6 or 92% of percentage which categorized as very good, and 3) the average value of throwing a boule is 3.72 or 74.4% of percentage which categorized as good. Overall movements point out good category with 88% of percentage.
Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 14 -15 April 2018. Pengabdian ini di ikuti oleh 30 dan 40 guru sekolah dasar Se Kabupaten Purbalingga yang diwadahi pada forum Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG). Kegiatan pengabdian ini didukung oleh Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Purbalingga dengan dikeluarkannya surat keterangan melaksanakan kegiatan dengan nomor surat 071/0789/2018. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini berbentuk workshop untuk para guru dan siswa sekolah dasar se kabupaten purbalingga. Metode yang disajikan berbentuk ceramah, diskusi, dan eksperimen. Hasil yang dicapai ialah guru dan siswa secara sadar berkomitmen untuk menjaga, melindungi, dan melestarikan budaya berprestasi melalui olahraga petanque. Guru dan siswa sekolah dasar se kabupaten purbalingga akan menggiatkan olahraga petanque dan siap berpartisipasi dalam setiap kejuaraan yang diselenggarkan. Perwakilan siswa sekolah dasar kabupaten purbalingga siap mengikuti seleksi Eksebisi POPNAS cabang olahraga petanque yang akan diselenggarakan di Provinsi Papua pada tahun 2019. Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Purbalingga melalui surat keterangan resminya menuliskan permohonan agar di tahun berikutnya agar dapat dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dengan ruang lingkup kepersetaan yang lebih luas. Teacher and students in Kabupaten Purbalingga will intensify the petanque sport and ready to participate in every championship held. Representatives of student ready to follow the selection POPNAS exhibition petanque sports branch that will be held in the province of Papua in 2019. Pollution caused by cigarette smoke causes health problems and even death in humans. Active smokers contribute to this. The number of smokers increases every year, including among the students. This study aimed to develop a Non-Smoking Area model in campus area. This study used quantitative approach supported by qualitative data. The population was every campus members in the Faculty of Sports Sciences, Semarang State University (UNNES). In the quantitative approach, a sample of 170 respondents was determined by accidental sampling technique. We used questionnaire as the instrument and the data obtained were analyzed by correlation test. We involved 10 respondents in Focused Group Discussion (FGD) to obtain the qualitative data. The results showed that 1) 25.88% smoked actively; 2) 91.2% knew about cigarette and its health risks; 3) 68.2% supported smoking ban regulations on campus; 4) respondents’ knowledge and attitude influenced smoking behavior; 5) promotional messages about the dangers of cigarettes on health must be campaigned in a communicative and effective language at a strategic location; 6) Written regulation from campus officials is critical to strengthen the implementation of No Smoking Area policy on campus.
Background and Study Aim. Judo is a popular sport with dynamic characteristics and requires high physical abilities to achieve achievement. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of plyometric exercises with active-passive recovery for eight weeks to improve the physical ability of male judo athletes. Material and Methods. This study used an experimental method. A total of 36 male judoka participated as samples and were randomly divided into three groups. The plyometric experimental group with active recovery (21.8±1.78 years, 1.70±0.06 m, 71.1±13.5 kg), plyometric experimental group with passive recovery (21.7±2.53 years, 1.71±0.06 m, 63.8±10.1 kg), and the control group (21.4±2.30 years, 1.72±0.05 m, 67.4±7.76 kg). The training program was conducted for eight weeks with a frequency of 3 times/week. The experimental group was treated with plyometric training after warm-up, judo training, and post-exercise active-passive recovery intervention. The control group continued regular judo training. The statistical analysis procedure used the ANOVA test to determine the difference and comparison of the pre-test and post-test mean values in the control and experimental groups with a significance level (p<0.05). Results. The results showed differences in the average value of experimental and control groups found significant to the VO2Max endurance and leg power. Meanwhile, no significant difference occurred in left and right grip strength, flexibility, and speed. Conclusions. The study concluded that plyometric training with active-passive recovery positively affects male judoka's VO2max endurance and leg power.
The aims of this study were: 1) To analyze the effect of wrist flexibility exercise on shooting results; 2) To analyze the impact of arm power training on shooting results; 3) To investigate the effect of concentration training on shooting results; 4) To examine the impact of wrist flexibility exercise, arm power and exercise. Concentration on the results of shooting petanque. This study uses a pre-experimental method with the "One Group Pretest Posttest Design" research design. The instrument used to test the shooting ability is the number game shooting station 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 with a distance of 6 meters. The subjects in this study were petanque athletes in Indragiri Hulu Regency, totalling 18 sons, using purposive sampling. The results of this study: 1) There is an effect of wrist flexibility exercises on the results of shooting petanque. 2) There is an effect of arm power training on the results of shooting petanque. 3) There is an effect of concentration training on the results of shooting petanque. 4) There are similarities between the results of wrist flexibility exercises, arm power, and concentration and without concentration on the shooting results of petanque athletes in the Indragiti upstream district. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect between wrist flexibility, arm power, and concentration on shooting results in petanque athletes in Indragiri Hulu Regency, based on the T-test simultaneously. This means that Wrist Flexibility, Arm Power, and Concentration are very influential in petanque sports.
This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of balance training on shooting results in Riau petanque athletes and the effect of concentration training on shooting results in Riau petanque athletes and investigating the effect of balance training and concentration training on shooting results in Riau petanque athletes. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with the research design "Two Group Pretest Posttest Design". The instrument used to test the shooting ability is the number game shooting station 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 with a distance of 6 meters, 7 meters, and 8 meters. , and 9 meters. The subjects in this study were Riau Petanque athletes, totalling 32 sons, which were taken from the total sampling results. The results of this study: 1) There is an effect of balance training exercises on the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes. 2) there is an effect of concentration training on the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes. 3) there is an influence between balance training and concentration training on the shooting results of Riau petanque athletes. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that balance and concentration training significantly affect the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes based on the paired samples test. Then from the two exercises, the concentration exercise is better than the balancing exercise, based on the independent samples test. It can be interpreted that balance and concentration training influence the shooting results of the Riau Petanque athletes. Still, concentration exercises have.
Adaptive physical education is a type of physical education geared toward children with special needs, such as intellectual disabilities. Of course, there must be an assessment in learning to see if the results taught from the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor perspectives were achieved. The goal of this research was to learn more about how physical education learning outcomes were assessed in schools for students with intellectual disabilities in Semarang. The research method used was descriptive. This method aims to describe the events and circumstances that occurred. The research approach used was qualitative. Data were gathered through observation, interviews, and documentation. The informant for this study was a Semarang-based special school teacher (SLB) who teaches physical education classes. The findings revealed that teachers had difficulty making assessments for mentally retarded students even though the assessment was still conducted as it should. It was determined that the teacher conducted a cognitive, affective, and psychomotor assessment of physical education learning and modified the assessment indicators to find appropriate standards. Meanwhile, the assessment was carried out based on the students' abilities.
