This research was based on the phenomenon of religiosity and the application of Sundanese cultural values in Bandung. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Sundanese resilience and culture on moral behavior. The design of this study uses a causality design that aims to determine how much influence one variable has on another. The total sample were 100 villagers. The data was collected using a set of questionnaire of religiosity, Sundanese culture, and moral behaviour, with Likert model. Hypothesis was tested using regression. The findings show that religiosity and Sundanese culture have positive and significant effect on moral behavior.
This research was initiated from the phenomena that psychology students have low motivation in learning and 60% of lectures have no educational background of psychology. Causal design was used to know the effect of one variable toward others. Sample are 100 students. Hypothesis analysed using regresion statistical analysis. Result shows that regresion model based on research data is significant. Lecturer competence give a linear effect toward student learning motivation
Often stressful or traumatic events have different effects on different individuals in the family. However, family resilience refers to the ability to maintain the family functions, including to provide supports for all family members. This study aims to explain the relevance of the meaning contained in the concept of family resilience through Islamic values, associated with its implementation in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method was Islamic Psychology development. The results found that there are a number of verses of the Quran and Hadith that have relevant meaning to the six dimensions of family resilience according to Oh dan Chang (2014). The dimension of collective confidence is relevant to the concepts of patience, self-confidence, firm conviction and being not desperate. Dimension of interconnectedness is relevant to the command to protect oneself and the family, to unite (not being divorced) and to avoid prejudice. The dimension of positive life view is relevant to have the positive thinking (husnudzan) towards the decree of Allah, to believe that after difficulties there will be ease, and to believe that each self is only burdened according to the limits of his ability. The dimension of resourcefulness is relevant to the command to make effort on the things we do and to have th hard work. The dimension of open communication patterns is relevant to have love and affection, to have dialogue with others, and to remind each other. Whereas the dimension of collaborative problem solving is relevant to help each other, to compete in good deeds, and to prioritize others.
The background of this research is the inconsistency of the results of previous research about the factors that influence moral disengagement. This study aims to determine the role of critical thinking as a mediator of the influence of internal locus of control on student moral disengagement. The population in this study were 1560 students of the State Islamic University (UIN) Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung who lived in boarding schools around the campus with a total of 300 respondents taken randomly. Data collection uses internal locus of control (ILoC), critical thinking (CT), and moral disengagement (MD) scales. Based on structural test results it is known that internal locus of control has a positive and significant effect on critical thinking, internal locus of control has a negative and significant effect on moral disengagement, and critical thinking has a negatif and significant effect on moral disengagement. The results of the model test with structural equation model (SEM) show that critical thinking plays a negative and significant role as a mediator between the influence of internal locus of control on moral disengagement.
Memaafkan adalah sikap mengatasi berbagai hal negatif akibat dari rasa sakit yang dirasakan serta upaya menghindari penghakiman terhadap individu yang bersalah. Penelitian ini melihat gambaran memaafkan pada remaja akhir yang menjadi korban bullying. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan subjek seorang remaja akhir berusia 20 tahun yang pernah mengalami tindak bullying selama dua tahun ketika di sekolah menengah atas. Dari hasil analisis wawancara, disimpulkan bahwa dalam pemaafan yang dilakukan subjek, lebih dominan dalam dimensi intrapsychic atau emosi dan kognisinya namun dalam tindakan sosial subjek belum memaafkan seutuhnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa subjek berada dalam hollow forgiveness. Saran untuk penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan untuk mencari referensi sumber yang banyak sebelum melakukan pengambilan data.
AbstrakPenelitian ini berangkat dari fenomena yang ada di Fakultas Psikologi UIN Sunan Gunung Dajti Bandung yaitu bahwa motivasi belajar mahasiswa tergolong rendah, misalnya banyak mahasiswa yang jumlah kehadirannya kurang dari 75%. This research begins from the phenomenon of adolescents who deliberately and join in by others behaving immorally. This phenomenon illustrates moral disengagement, which is the mechanism of individual cognition to look for logical reasons that their immoral behavior can be justified logically. Previous studies found inconsistent research results about the variables that affect moral disengagement. Therefore this study aims to find answers whether concern for other, perspective taking, and internal locus of control have an effect on moral disengagement. This study used correlational quantitative method with multiple regression tests. 500 respondents from high school and vocational high school students in the Province of West Java. The results showed that concern for others, perspective taking and internal locus of control had a significant negative effect on moral disengagement.
