Th e presented study aims at increasing positive attitude of students as good citizens through the integration of character education in social studies with CTL approach. Th is research was classroom action research and the subjects of this research were 38 fi ft h-grade pupils of Elementary School SD Negeri 07 Panreng Sinjai. Th e study involved collaborators that were fi fth-grade teachers who acted as the implementing action. Data were obtained through a test scale of attitude as the main data and supporting data were collected through observation and self-report. Th e research showed some fi ndings. First, the integration of character education in teaching social studies is conducted by instilling the values of character education in learning with the social studies content and applying some of the components in the CTL. Second, there is continuous improvement of the integration of character education in social studies with the CTL approach from the fi rst cycle to the third cycle. Based on the results of attitude tests on the citizenship subject in the fi rst cycle, there was no student classifi ed as very positive (0%), 44.73% of students were classifi ed as positive, 39.47% negative, and 15.76% very negative. In the second cycle, there were 23.68% of students classifi ed as very positive, 44.73% positive, 26.31% negative, and 5.26% very negative. In the third cycle, there were 18.42% of students classifi ed as very positive, 78.94% positive, 2.63% negative and 0% very negative. Th us, the integrated character education in social studies can improve the attitude of a good citizen in fi ft h-grade pupils of SD Negeri 07 Panreng Sinjai.
The objective of this research and development is to create a description of the operational model of character education and to determine the effectiveness of a character education model in enhancing students' academic independence. There are some results of this research. First, the description of the prototype model of character education to enhance students' academic independence consists of five parts, namely rationalization of character education model; supporting theories of character education model; components of character education model; instructions for using character education model; and development of character education model. Second, the operational model of character education is supported by development tools and developed at five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Third, the character education model is effective to enhance students' academic independence in Islamic Boarding School, Sinjai.
The primary issue of this research is the development of career guidance and counseling medium. This research aims at identifying (1) an illustration of necessity level of the development toward the career guidance and counseling flipchart medium in choosing major in university towards students of SMAN 1 Tanggetada. (2) The prototype of career guidance and counseling medium of choosing major in University towards student of SMAN 1 Tanggetada. (3) The validity and the practical media of career Guidance and Counseling medium of flipchart in choosing major in University towards students of SMAN 1 Tanggetada. This research applies researching model of ADDIE which consists of 5 (five) steps of research. The technique of collecting data uses interview and questionnaire. The results shows ; (1) the result of necessity analysis conducted in SMAN 1 Tanggetada shows that the teachers of Guidance and Counseling and the students need career guidance and counseling flipchart medium in choosing major in university; (2) the prototyped career guidance and counseling flipchart medium in choosing major in university consist of Flipchart, Guideline book and material as well as reading script concerning to career; (3) the result of validity and practicable show that career guidance and counseling flipchart medium is valid and practice therefore deserved to be applied in SMAN 1 Tanggetada to help students in choosing major at university.
Learning products that have been designed and developed by the teacher/researcher must be tested first to determine their quality level before being disseminated to the broader community. This research is a development product testing phase by going through the validity, practicality and effectiveness test phase, which is the final part of a research and development (R&D) design. There are three groups of participants involved in this study: two validators, five elementary school teachers, and 25 students from Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Majene, West Sulawesi, Indonesia. Several instruments were used in collecting data in this study, namely: (a) validation sheets, (b) teacher response questionnaires, (c) student response questionnaires, (d) learning implementation observation sheets, and (e) learning outcomes tests. The data that have been collected are then analyzed using a quantitative approach with the help of the SPSS version 20.00 application. The results showed that the Integrating, Rationale and Approach Participation (IRA) learning model was proven to be valid, practical, and effective through a series of tests carried out. Thus, this environment-based IRA learning model can be used by a broader range of users.

The low critical thinking skills of students in fundamental physics courses require an innovative learning model which is the main background in this research. This study aims to (1) know the description of the development of modeling physics learning (2) determine the validity of modeling physics learning to students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is Research and Development with a development model referring to the Wademan and Mckenney model. This research procedure includes preliminary studies, hypothetical model development, model operationalization, and model implementation. Collecting research data using validity assessment techniques and tests of physics competence and critical thinking skills. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive quantitative. This research shows that (1) Modeling Physics Learning has five phases, namely submission and identification of problems with physical phenomena, provision of prerequisite information, physics modeling, finding solutions, evaluating processes and solutions, (2) The PPF learning model developed in this study is declared feasible because it fulfills the criteria of validity and effectiveness.
Entering the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, the challenges and problems faced by the world of education worldwide are increasingly complex and complicated. One of these problems is the level of the moral degradation of students, which is increasingly worrying. This research is part of research and development that focuses on the needs analysis, module design, and product validation stages. This study aimed to produce a learning product in the form of a social piety guidance module to reduce the moral degradation of high school students. This research was conducted at SMKN 3 Sinjai, South Sulawesi, Indonesia, by involving three counselling teachers and 15 students in the initial study phase and two experts in the validation phase. Data were collected using several data collection techniques such as (a) interviews, (b) observation, and (c) module validation sheets. The results showed that it turns out that a social piety guidance module is needed at the high school level to reduce the level of the moral degradation of students, which is then designed to be a module. From the validation test, information is obtained that the social piety guidance module is proven valid based on experts' judgment with a cumulative average score of 3.53. Thus, after this module is proven valid, it is recommended that it be tested on users, namely teachers and students.
