This study aims to determine the pattern of character education development in Islamic Religious Education. The study was conducted at Serang University, Banten in 2019, using a qualitative approach. Data obtained by interview, observation and document techniques. Interviews were conducted with the leaders of the college campus administration staff, religious education lecturers, and students. The results of this study found that the development of character education was implemented through learning in the classroom and student activities, using interactive discussion methods, habituation, exemplary and discipline. The availability of PAI lecturers and campus facilities is a supporting factor for the implementation of character education. In contrast, the inhibiting factors include attitudes and behaviours of students who are less severe in participating in religious activities because they are more focused on science development activities, as well as heterogeneous students. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pengembangan pendidikan karakter dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam. Penelitian di lakukan di Universitas Serang, Banten pada tahun 2019, dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh dengan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumen. Wawancara dilakukan kepada pimpinan perguruan tinggi staf administrasi kampus, dosen pendidikan agama, dan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa pengembangan pendidikan karakter diimplementasikan melalui pembelajaran di kelas dan melalui kegiatan kemahasiswaan, dengan menggunakan metode diskusi interaktif, pembiasaan, keteladanan dan kedisiplinan. Ketersediaan dosen PAI dan fasilitas kampus merupakan faktor pendukung dari implementasi pendidikan karakter. Sementara faktor penghambat meliputi sikap dan perilaku mahasiswa yang kurang serius mengikuti kegiatan keagamaan karena lebih fokus kepada kegiatan pengembangan sains, serta adanya mahasiswa yang heterogen.
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya kritik yang bermunculan bahwa pola kepemimpinan yang diterapkan pada pesantren di propinsi Banten sering kali tidak mampu mengimbangi perkembangan zaman. Langgengnya watak kharismatik dalam kepemimpinan pesantren menjadi salah satu penyebab dari pasang surutnya pola kepemimpinan pesantren selama ini. Di sisi lain masalah system manajemennya masih sangat sederhana dan tradisional. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada ditemukannya jawaban atas pertanyaan “Bagaimanakah model pengembangan kepemimpinan kyai efektif pada pondok pesantren di propinsi Banten?”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah model konseptual kepemimpinan kyai efektif pada pondok pesantren salafiyah di propinsi Banten. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif analitis. Dalam hal ini peneliti melakukan pengumpulan data, pengolahan data, dan analisis data yang kemudian dideskripsikan secara naratif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: (1) Profil pondok pesantren di propinsi Banten secara umum sudah cukup baik (2) Tipe kepemimpinan kyai pondok pesantren di propinsi Banten bersifat kharismatik-otoritatif. (3) Dampak kepemimpinan yang diterapkan oleh kyai pondok pesantren di propinsi Banten tidak berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja dan aktivitas santri, hal ini karena santri menganggap menjalankan perintah kyai merupakan ta‟dzim kepada kyai. Namun model kepemimpinan kyai yang masih bersifat turun temurun inilah yang terkadang mengakibatkan menurunnya perkembangan pondok pesantren tersebut (4) Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan kepemimpinan kyai pondok pesantren di provinsi Banten adalah minat masyarakat terhadap pengetahuan agama berbasis terapan sangat tinggi, sedangkan faktor penghambatnya ialah sarana prasarana yang masih kurang memadai dan manajemen yang belum matang. (5) Tingkat efektifitas kepemimpinan Kyai pondok pesantren di propinsi Banten menunjukkan kepemimpinan yang bervariasi, ada yang sudah berkepemimpinan efektif dan ada yang belum berkepemimpinan efektif.
This paper explores 1) why humanistic literacy is important in welcoming the industrial revolution 4.0, especially in the academic community and 2) how the implementation of MBKM (Collegiate Independent Learning) programs can be the main support in responding to industry 4.0. The purpose of this paper is to illustrate “how” the academic community uses knowledge from humanistic literacy. The study used a sample of 1,753 respondents from the academic community of Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang from December 16 to December 19, 2021 using PISA instruments and UNESCO indicators through Likert scale measurements. We show that humanistic literacy is a knowledge capital for the academic community with scores from respondents at the level of identification (4.3), application (4.22), and reasoning (4.24) that support the academic community for the development of social skills such as collaborative efforts and networking development in producing innovative industrial service products.
A year pass after Tsunami Banten - Lampung disaster, there were some victims who still feeling trauma. This study aims to describe about the implementation of play therapy method for reduce students survivor of the Tsunami Sunda Strait disaster trauma. This research method is descriptive, that will describe about doing play therapy for trauma healing on trauma survivor. The results of the assessment showed that there are some students experience physical, emotional, and habitual disorders. Play therapy activities carried out in three stages: initiation, outdoor activities, and indoor activities. The final results show that after participating in play therapy activities, students feel more comfortable and relax because they can pour out their fears. Students also begin to reduce anxiety and fear.
Pondok Pesantren is one of the Islamic religious education institutions in Indonesia. The number of criticisms regarding the pattern of pondok pesantren leadership that cannot keep up with the times is the reason for this study being conducted. This study examines the leadership model of pondok pesantren in Banten Province. The approach used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method. The stages of data collection, processing, and analysis are then described narratively. The research was carried out in four pondok pesantren representing Banten Province regions. The study results show that the leadership model of pondok pesantren leaders in Banten Province is still charismatic-authoritative. This model is hereditary. The effectiveness of the leadership of Pondok Pesantren varies. Some are effective, and some are not.
