This paper seeks to examine the concept of “Merdeka Belajar” or “Freedom of Learning” which was initiated by the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture, Nadiem Makarim. The study of freedom of learning uses text study with content analysis method. The concept of “Freedom of Learning” is very interesting when studied with a multicultural education perspective. Moreover, the two concepts have the same relevance and spirit, namely freedom and justice in the human resources development context, particularly through the educational process. Based on the results, the implementation of “MerdekaBelajar” program so far includes four aspects, namely financing, teachers / educators, assessment, and graduates. In a multicultural perspective, problems in management and assessment aspects basically caused by a misunderstanding of the meaning of standards and standardization. Meanwhile, the teacher and graduate aspects lie in the importance of developing multicultural competencies.Integrating a multicultural education perspective in the “Freedom of Learning” policy also transforms an education system that is creative, innovative, and character.
This study aims to investigate the financial management and strategies deployed by Rumah Pintar (Rumpin) BAZNAS Piyungan Bantul Yogyakarta to improve the quality of education. Employing a qualitative approach, the data of this research is collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were then analyzed in three stages: data reduction, data display and data verification. The results show that financial resources of Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan are obtained from zakat through BAZNAS Center and through the allocation of costs in Rumpin that has increased from year to year. The improved allocation of costs were caused by the increasing need for services requested by the service recipients (mustahik). The result of the cost improvement is the increasing quality of education and services. It can be seen from the achievements obtained by Rumpin BAZNAS Piyungan which won number of awards such as the Best Rumpin in center development under the category of Non-Departmental body; received award of pustaka bakti tama penggerak buku (books reader movement for literary devotion) and several training certificates that can be used to find a job.

Salah satunya, kami beri nama program Pelatihan Metodologi Penelitian Islam Nusantara dan Pendidikan Kader Muallif. Program yang pertama, sejak munculnya diskursus Islam Nusantara pasca Muktamar ke-33 di Jombang hingga tahun 2019 sudah 3 (tiga) kali angkatan. Angkatan pertama kami selenggarakan di Pondok Pesantren Alif Lam Mim Surabaya yang diasuh oleh Dr. KH. Ahmad Imam Mawardi, MA., yang kedua diselenggarakan di IAIN Jember, dan yang ketiga diselenggarakan di Universitas Yudharta Pasuruan. Makalah dari para peserta pada angkatan ketiga inilah yang kemudian menjadi buku prosiding ini. Adapun program yang kedua baru dimulai pada tahun 2019 dengan angkatan pertama yang diselenggarakan di Pondok Pesantren An-Nur II Al-Murtadlo Bululawang Kabupaten Malang.
This paper seeks to offer a conceptual framework regarding knowledge management in order to improve the quality of Islamic education institutions. This concept is very interesting because it creates a knowledge-based institutional culture. In addition, with this knowledge management concept, educational institutions will find it easier to run the wheels of the organization, especially when there is a change of leadership. Through activities of finding, selecting, sharing, and storing knowledge, a culture of quality will be created in Islamic educational institutions.
Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membahas modal sosial yang dimiliki dan didayagunakan oleh pesantren Al-Qodir. Modal sosial tersebut juga berkaitan dengan masalah keragaman, yang diistilahkan peneliti sebagai modal sosial multikultural. Dengan menggunakan riset kualitatif fenomenologis, hasil riset menunjukkan adanya dua area/sumber modal sosial-multikultural, yakni modal internal dan eksternal. Modal internal mencakup keragaman santri dan nilai sosial-budaya yang terbangun didalamnya. Modal internal ini bersifat bonding (mengikat/mempersatukan). Modal eksternal berkaitan dengan jejaring multikultural dan terbangunnya kepercayaan (social trust) bagi pesantren dan komunitas eksternal yang beragam. Modal eksternal ini menampilkan tipe bridging (menjembatani). Adanya modal sosial-multikultural tersebut menjadikan pesantren ini memiliki kemampuan dan berkontribusi nyata dalam pembangunan harmoni sosial, terutama bagi umat beragama.
