The purpose of this study was to determine the blood glucose influence on cholesterol and blood pressure of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This research was correlative analytic study. The sample consisted of  24 respondents. Data analyzed using Spearman’s rho. Spearman's rho test results on blood glucose and cholesterol are a significance value of 0.001 and a correlation coefficient of 0.619. This can be interpreted that there is an influence between blood glucose and cholesterol with a strong relationship. Spearman's rho test results on blood glucose and blood pressure are a significance value of 0.000 and a correlation coefficient of 0.798. This can be interpreted that there is an influence between blood glucose and blood pressure with a strong relationship. The conclusion of this study is that there is an influence between blood glucose with cholesterol and blood pressure in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

Wounds are a disorder in the continuity of the skin or mucosal epithelial layer, which is a result of physical or thermal damage The research purpose was to analyze effect of mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa) on the density of collagen incision wound of white rats (Rattus norvegicus). This research has used post test only control group design. The sample were 30 male rats that grouped into control (K1, K2, K3) and treatment (P1, P2, P3) groups. The control group was given 1%CMC, while the treatment group was given oral extract of mahkota dewa at a dose of 22.5 mg/kg bw. The data was analyzed by Kruskall Wallis test. The results showed that there were a significant difference of collagen density between control and treatment group. The mahkota dewa fruits extract increased the macrophage activity. Thus, the macrophage activity could increase the Transforming Growth Factor – ß (TGF-ß) secretion. The TGF-ß could stimulate fibroblast prolipheration. In addition, collagen synthesis could increased. Based on the results, Mahkota dewa (Phaleria macrocarpa) extract could increase the collagen density of incision wound of white rats (Rattus norvegicus).

Children are the next generation of families and assets of the nation that must be prepared from an early age so that they become quality successors and have good character. Children's character is a container for various psychological characteristics that can guide children to adapt to various environmental conditions they face. The purpose of this activity is to increase parents' knowledge about Parenting Style as an Effort to Build Children's Character. The method used in this community service is Community Education (Counseling) through the Zoom Meeting media. Based on the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, it can be seen that the significance value (p value) is 0.00. The significance value is greater than α (0.05) so it can be interpreted that there is a significant difference in the knowledge of parents before and after counseling. Based on the results of this community service, it can be concluded that counseling to the community can increase parents' knowledge about Parenting Style as an Effort to Build Children's Character. Parents' knowledge about parenting needs to be improved, because knowledge about parenting will determine the type of parenting that will be given by parents to their children. So that the child will have a good character and in accordance with the norms of society

Communication is the basis of all social interaction activities in life. One of the important abilities for humans to have as social creatures is assertive communication skills. Assertive communication is the ability to convey thoughts, feelings, needs while still paying attention to the rights of others. Lack of assertive communication skills in adolescents is one of the causes of aggressive behavior. An initial survey conducted on a number of junior high school students who had aggressive behavior showed the lack of assertive communication skills possessed. This study aims to describe assertive communication skills in early adolescents who have aggressive behavior, using the Assertiveness Scale for Adolescents (ASA). This research is a descriptive study with a sample of 147 adolescents selected using the purposive sampling method. The results showed the highest communication skills were aggressive communication (59.9%), unassertive or passive communication (26.5%), the lowest communication ability was assertive communication (13.6%). This research recommends that parents and schools are important to continue to provide assertive communication stimulation in adolescents.

The incidence of Diabetes Mellitus in the elderly in Indonesia is increasing. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that can cause various physiological and psychological impacts on the elderly. One of the psychological effects of chronic disease is anxiety. The solution that can be given to overcome anxiety is to provide Psychoeducation. This community service activity aims to provide Psychoeducation to the elderly with Diabetes Mellitus to reduce the level of anxiety that occurs in the elderly. The method in this community service activity is to use problem methods, management practices and management practices as a form of Psychoeducation application. The group of 15 elderly who received psychoeducation was proven to have decreased anxiety levels and the elderly had the ability to control the anxiety who reported it. Psychoeducation is an alternative solution that can be given to elderly people with chronic diseases who experience anxiety.Keywords:Anxiety, elderly, psychoeducationABSTRAKAngka kejadian Diabetes Melitus pada lansia di Indonesia semakin meningkat. Solusi yang dapat diberikan untuk mengatasi ansietas adalah dengan pemberian Psikoedukasi. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan Psikoedukasi pada lansia yang mengalami Diabetes Melitus untuk menurunkan tingkat ansietas yang terjadi pada lansia. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode identifikasi masalah, ceramah dan praktik manajemen ansietas sebagai bentuk aplikasi Psikoedukasi. Sejumlah 15 lansia yang mendapatkan Psikoedukasi terbukti mengalami penurunan tingkat ansietas dan lansia memiliki kemampuan untuk mengontrol ansietas yang dialami. Psikoedukasi merupakan salah satu alternatif solusi yang dapat diberikan pada lansia dengan penyakit kronis yang mengalami ansietas.Kata kunci: Ansietas, lansia, psikoedukasi
