ZusammenfassungEs ist eine zentrale Aufgabe von Lehrpersonen, Lernende während des Unterrichts individuell zu unterstützen. Im Hinblick auf die Nutzung von Unterstützungsangeboten spielt es eine entscheidende Rolle, wie diese Unterstützung von Schüler*innen wahrgenommen wird. Empirische Studien zeigen, dass die Wahrnehmung des Unterrichts interindividuell stark variiert. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass diese Variabilität auf unterschiedliche kognitive und affektiv-motivationale Voraussetzungen von Schüler*innen zurückgeführt werden kann. Bisher liegen jedoch kaum differenzielle Untersuchungen zur Schüler*innenwahrnehmung der Lernunterstützung vor, die systematisch Zusammenhänge mit individuellen Voraussetzungen in den Blick nehmen. An dieser Stelle setzt die vorliegende Studie mit dem Ziel an, mittels eines personenzentrierten Ansatzes zu einem besseren Verständnis unterschiedlicher Bedürfnisse hinsichtlich der Lernunterstützung beizutragen. Mittels latenter Profilanalysen wurden die Daten von 633 Mathematikschüler*innen der vierten Jahrgangsstufe ausgewertet. Auf diese Weise konnten vier verschiedene Schüler*innenprofile identifiziert werden: (1) starkes Profil, mit hoch ausgeprägter Selbstwirksamkeit, hoch ausgeprägter intrinsischer Motivation und hoch ausgeprägtem Vorwissen in Mathematik; (2) motiviertes Profil mit hoch ausgeprägter intrinsischer Motivation, durchschnittlicher Selbstwirksamkeit und geringem Vorwissen; (3) unmotiviertes Profil mit geringer Selbstwirksamkeit, geringer intrinsischer Motivation und mittlerem Vorwissen; (4) überfordertes Profil mit niedrigen Werten aller Variablen. Lernende mit starken oder motivierten Profilen nahmen die Lernunterstützung ihrer Lehrperson positiver wahr als Schüler*innen mit überforderten und unmotivierten Profilen. Diese Ergebnisse zeigen deutliche Unterschiede in der individuellen Wahrnehmung von Lernunterstützung und weisen diesbezüglich auf weiteren Forschungsbedarf hin.
Zusammenfassung Formatives Assessment umfasst die Gewinnung von diagnostischen Informationen zum Lernen und seinen Ergebnissen sowie deren Nutzung zur Optimierung von Lehr- und Lernprozessen. Das Ziel des Forschungsprojekts bestand darin, zu untersuchen, mit welcher Häufigkeit, mit welcher Dauer und in welcher Qualität Lehrpersonen formatives Assessment informell im alltäglichen Unterricht durchführen. Um diese Forschungsfragen zu klären, wurde in der vierten Primarschulstufe von 52 Lehrpersonen und ihren Schulklassen im Fach Mathematik je eine Doppelstunde zur Einführung in das halbschriftliche Dividieren videografiert. Im Fokus standen fünf Strategien des formativen Assessments: (1) Lernziel klären, (2) Lernstand erfassen (Eliciting-Evidence), (3) Self-Assessment, (4) Peer-Assessment und (5) Feedback-Interaktion. Hinsichtlich der Häufigkeit ergaben die Videoanalysen, dass der überwiegende Teil der teilnehmenden Lehrpersonen alle fünf Strategien nutzt, die Einsatzdauer mit Ausnahme der Feedback-Interaktionen in der Regel jedoch kurz ist. Die Ergebnisse der Qualitätseinschätzung deuten insgesamt auf eine höchstens mittlere, meist aber geringe Qualität der Umsetzung der Strategien hin. Es bestehen Zusammenhänge zwischen der Anwendungsdauer und der Qualitätsausprägung der Strategien. Je länger die Strategien eingesetzt wurden, desto besser wurde ihre Qualität im Rating eingeschätzt. Diese Ergebnisse erweitern den bisherigen Forschungsstand insofern, als erstmals ökologisch valide Aussagen für den deutschen Sprachraum zur Häufigkeit, zur Dauer und zur Qualität von Strategien des formativen Assessments im alltäglichen Mathematikunterricht vorgelegt werden. Aus den Befunden werden Schlussfolgerungen für die Aus- und Weiterbildung von Lehrpersonen gezogen.
Welche Themen und Heterogenitätskategorien werden erforscht, wenn im Titel einer empirischen Studie der Begriff „Heterogenität“ verwendet wird? Anhand einer systematischen Datenbankrecherche und Inhaltsanalyse von empirischen Studien wird dieser Frage nachgegangen. 21 Studien entsprachen den definierten Kriterien und lassen sich in die folgenden drei Themenschwerpunkte aufteilen: 1. Die Heterogenität der Schülerschaft in Bezug auf unterschiedliche Heterogenitätskategorien und Analyseebenen. Die Leistungsheterogenität ist in diesem Zusammenhang die am häufigsten untersuchte Heterogenitätskategorie. 2. Die Anwendung, Evaluierung und Entwicklung von integrativen Unterrichtsmethoden. 3. Die subjektiven Theorien der Lehrpersonen zur Heterogenität ihrer Schülerschaft.
Die Diagnosefähigkeit von Lehrpersonen umfasst neben der Beurteilungsgüte vor allem die Fähigkeit, Diagnosen didaktisch adaptiv zu nutzen und lernfördernde Rückmeldungen daraus abzuleiten. Wie sich diagnostische Fähigkeiten bei angehenden Lehrpersonen und im Berufsalltag entwickeln, ist noch weitgehend unerforscht. Die vorliegende Längsschnittstudie mit PH-Studierenden untersucht die diagnostischen Fähigkeiten bezüglich formaler und inhaltlicher Aspekte im Fach Deutsch und diskutiert sie kritisch. Als Beurteilungsmaterial dienten videografierte Reportagen von Schülerinnen und Schülern sowie deren Vorbereitungsnotizen. Es konnte gezeigt werden, dass die Studierenden im Laufe der Ausbildung lernen, den Lernstand von Schülerinnen und Schülern differenzierter zu erfassen, und es ihnen auch immer besser gelingt, adäquate Formen der Weiterarbeit zu entwerfen. Bei anderen inhaltlichen und formalen Aspekten, z.B. der Fähigkeit zur Beurteilung des Wortschatzes oder des Textaufbaus, konnten während des Studiums hingegen keine signifikanten Veränderungen nachgewiesen werden. Die Diskussion der Ergebnisse im Kontext der Lehrerinnen- und Lehrerausbildung und früherer Forschungsarbeiten hebt die Wichtigkeit einer empirischen Überprüfung von Ausbildungszielen wie beispielsweise Diagnosekompetenz hervor und fordert weitere, vertiefte Analysen.
