Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh pendekatan metakognitif terhadap kemampuan representase siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian non-experiment. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMK Kesehatan Nusantara Kupang. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMK Kesehatan Nusantara Kupang. Metode pengumpulan data yang dugunkan peneliti adalah Tes dan Wawancara, diamana tes digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan representasi matematika siswa dan wawancara digunakan untuk memperkuat lagi hasil tes dari kemampuan representasi matematika siswa. Data dalam penelitian ini diuji menggunakan uji Paired Sample T Test. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran dengan pendekatan metakognitif berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan representasi siswa. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan pada hasil analisis uji Paired Sample T-test diketahui rata-rata nilai prest-test kemampuan representasi diperoleh sebesar 12,16 dan post-test kemampuan representasi matematika siswa sebesar 24,73. kesimpulannya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematika dan kemampuan representasi matematika siswa.
The purpose of this study is to: Analyze the Development of Mathematical Modules with a Metacognitive Approach to Facilitate Learning Independence of SMK Muhammadiyah KupangStudents. This research is a research development. The research method used is a research and development method. The location that is the object of research is the Muhammadiyah Kupang Vocational School. Subjects taken in this study were students of class X-A SMK Muhammadiyah Kupang. Data collection methods used were validation sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques in this study were carried out by means of validation analysis of quantitative data derived from assessment sheets (validation) from media experts in the form of average scores and then converted to a qualitative scale. The results of media and material assessment validation on the mathematics module with a metacognitive approach are very valid with an average of 3.4. Thus this teaching material is very feasible to be used as teaching material. The results of the development of the module with a metacognitive approach can also be seen from students' responses, namely the student response questionnaire states that an average of 3.58 is obtained and can be categorized as receiving very good responses from students. Based on the module's success criteria seen from the average number of students whose responses are very good then, the mathematics module media with a metacognitive approach can be said to be successful.
This research development created Islamic integrated-mathematical learning kits based on HOTS, i.e. lesson plan and student worksheet. The subject was set for seventh-grade junior high school students at MTs Hidayatullah Batakte, West Kupang. The learning kits in this study were made using Plomp model development through the preliminary research phase, development or prototyping phase, and assessment phase. Instruments in this research were validation sheet, assessment sheet, student responsive questioner, and learning outcomes test. The value of validation according to the average score of Lesson Plan was 4.1 (good category). Moreover, the value of validation according to the average score of The Student Worksheet was 4.3 (good category). These learning kits got practice criteria based on the average score of learning implementation assessment was 4.6 with very good category and student responsive questioner have 96.2%. These learning kits have effective criteria based on mastery learning presentation classically with 85.7%. It can be concluded that Islamic integrated-mathematical learning kits based on HOTS are valid, effective, and practical. These learning kits are feasible for learning mathematics on the material of the Set in VII grade MTs Batakte, West Kupang.
This study aims to produce a mathematics instructional kits for students of Marine Vocational High School using Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) approach and oriented to mathematics reasoning, connection, and curiosity which is valid, practical, and effective. This study was a research and development study. It developed instructional kits using Plomp development model which consisted of three main steps, that is: (1) preliminary research, (2) development or prototyping phase, and (3) assessment phase. The subjects of the study were 28 students of grade X in Marine Major class of SMK Negeri 7 Kupang. The validity of the instruments used was a validation sheet. The practicality of the instruments used was a teacher assessment sheet, students assessment sheets, and observation sheets of learning implementation. Then, the effectiveness of the instruments consisted of a test for measuring students’ reasoning and connection, meanwhile a questionnaire was to measure students’ curiosity. Data analysis was conducted by converting quantitative data of assessment scores, students’ scores of test, and questionnaire to qualitative data. This research resulted mathematics learning kits for students of Marine Vocational High School using Realistic Mathematics Education approach and oriented to mathematics reasoning, connection, and curiosity in the form of lesson plan and student worksheet which have met the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness.
Mathematics learning is a teaching and learning process that is built by the teacher to develop students 'creative thinking skills that can improve students' thinking abilities, and can increase the ability to construct new knowledge as an effort to increase good mastery of mathematics material. This study aims to determine how to increase the ability to think creatively in mathematics with a constructivism approach in SMA Negeri 2 Kupang. The form of research used is Grounded Theory. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. There are three (3) data analysis techniques in this research, namely: data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The result of this research is an increase in mathematical creative thinking skills that get learning with a constructivism approach is higher than students who get conventional learning. The conclusion of this study is that there is an increase in the ability to think creatively in mathematics using the constructivism approach in class students at SMA Negeri 2 Kupang for the 2019/2020 academic year.
