The limitations of road construction materials require alternative materials such as asphalt recycling and utilization of waste potential such as steel slag for aggregate substitutes. In this study, there were tests for slag characteristics and reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) then continued with a marshall test to determine the optimum asphalt content (OAC). The nine mixtures planned in this study consist of 10-30% Slag combined with 10-30% RAP with Reclamite as a rejuvenating material. Using a combination of RAP, there is a decrease in the mixing and compaction temperature of 20°C compared to the conventional hot mix. Test results on hot mix asphalt using a combination of RAP and slag generate an increase of 10-30% each using a combined gradation and volume correction.
Pelabuhan penyeberangan Merak merupakan pintu gerbang lalu lintas Jawa-Sumatera yang terletak di Kota Cilegon. Pelabuhan Merak saat ini memiliki 5 dermaga yang beroperasi. Pelabuhan Merak kurang mengoptimalkan penggunaan dermaga 4 dan 5, dikarenakan dermaga 4 dan 5 belum memiliki trayek tetap untuk jadwal kapal bersandar. Pengelolaan pelabuhan Merak yang tidak efektif merupakan salah satu penyebab rendahnya pelayanan. Salah satu parameter yang perlu diperhatikan dalam upaya peningkatan pelayanan adalah lamanya waktu operasional yang dibutuhkan kapal di pelabuhan. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang merupakan hasil dari wawancara berbagai sumber dan data hasil survey waktu bongkar muat dan manuver kapal. Data sekunder adalah jadwal keberangkatan kapal, jumlah dan kapasitas kapal. Waktu baku operasional merupakan jumlah dari waktu bongkar muat dan manuver dikalikan dengan kapasitas kapal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Nilai waktu baku operasional kapal di Pelabuhan Merak rata-rata 62,124 menit/kapal. Dimana waktu baku dari masing-masing kapal sesuai dengan kapasitasnya adalah: kapal dengan kapasitas 20 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 54.273 menit, kapasitas 26 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 58.555 menit, kapasitas 30 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 61.410 menit, kapasitas 32 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 62.837menit, kapasitas 34 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 64.265 menit, kapasitas 35 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 64.978 menit, kapasitas 38 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 67.119 menit, kapasitas 40 kendaraan roda empat sebesar 68.547 menit. 2) Nilai rata-rata sebesar 62,124 menit/kapal menunjukkan operasional kapal di Pelabuhan Merak belum optimal karena lebih dari selang waktu keberangkatan yang ditetapkan di Pelabuhan Merak yaitu sebesar 60 menit. Using reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) does not only reduce costs but is also environmentally friendly. In its use, it is very important to know the empirical and rheological properties of the asphalt. The testing in this study used a Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) to test asphalt pen 60/70, RAP and Reclamite rejuvenating material mixed with RAP. The results of the pen asphalt 60/70 empirical test met the Bina Marga 2010 General Specifications of Roads and Bridges, while the RAP showed the characteristics of an aging asphalt. In the rheological test based on SUPERPAVE, from the value of the performance grade (PG), it was found that Reclamite reduced the critical temperature value on RAP, so the PG value was the same as the asphalt pen 60/70. The master curve results also showed that Reclamite can reduce the RAP stiffness modulus near the value of asphalt pen 60/70 stiffness modulus. Meanwhile, as seen from the results of the black diagram, the original condition has a range of phase angle (δ) greater than the RTFOT and PAVT conditions because the asphalt has undergone aging. At the same Sbit, asphalt pen 60/70 has a greater (δ) than RAP, while for RAP added with Reclamite, the value is between the RAP and asphalt pen 60/70 value. This illustrates that the Reclamite rejuvenating material makes RAP more viscous.
