Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang pentingnya keterampilan abad 21 dalam menjawab tantangan dan peluang pada abad 21. Pembahasan berfokus pada tantangan TVET, keterampilan abad 21, literasi digital, pembelajaran inovatif pada abad 21. Dalam menghadapi perubahan yang terjadi pada abad 21 menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi TVET dalam peran mempersiapkan generasi emas yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dunia industri, dunia usaha, dan dunia kerja. Perubahan paradigma baru dalam pembelajaran TVET yang berorientasi pada 21st Century Skill merupakan langkah antisipatif dalam mempersiapkan lulusan yang memiliki kemampuan softskill dan hardskill yang seimbang. Pembelajaran TVET dengan 21st Century Skills menjadi standar dalam menghadapi era globalisasi masa kini dan di masa depan. Generasi Z sebagai generasi yang highly mobile dan always connected akan menjadi bonus demografi yang harus dipersiapkan dengan matang. Revolusi Industri 4.0 adalah era serba teknologi virtual dan canggih, terjadinya percepatan transformasi digital menjadi pendorong munculnya lapangan pekerjaan baru, beragam inovasi dan pentingnya kompetensi-kompetensi digital. TVET dalam hal ini harus mampu selalu dinamis dan bahkan harus adaptif terhadap setiap perkembangan dan perubahan teknologi yang terjadi.
Products are goods that are available and provided in stores for sale. Products provided in stores must be arranged properly to order to attract the attention of consumers to buy. Products arranged in a store will depend on the type of store.The product arrangement at a retail store will be different from the product arrangement at a clothing store. Store display will reflect a picture that is in the store so consumers know the types of products sold by product arrangement. An attractive arrangement will stimulate the desire of consumers to buy. In data mining there are several types of methods by use including prediction, association, classification and estimation. In the prediction method there are several techniques including the frequent pattern growth (FP-growth) method. FP-growth algorithm is the development of the apriori algorithm. So, the shortcomings of the apriori algorithm are corrected by the FP-growth algorithm. FP-growth is one alternative algorithm that can be used to determine the set of data that most often appears (frequent itemset) in a data set. Results of research on the application of the FP-growth algorithm to maximizing the display of goods. It is hoped that this research can be used to adjust the product layout according to the level of frequency the product is sought by the customer so that the customer has no difficulty finding the product they want.
The current blended learning method, which mixes online and traditional classroom instruction, is appropriate for the epidemic. According to various research studies, blended learning benefits students by allowing them to study independently without regard for location or time constraints. This article explores and describes the use of the blended learning paradigm during a pandemic using a meta-analysis technique. The objective is to determine the effect of blended learning on learning outcomes; according to the conclusions of a research released in 2021 based on ten published articles, employing the blended learning approach greatly improved learning outcomes during the pandemic, with an effect size value of 1.21. However, the outcomes of this study suggest that publication bias exists as a result of an unbalanced distribution of effect sizes.
Physics learning is expected to involve direct activity of students in the investigation process to build their knowledge. But in fact, learning is still teacher centered and the involvement of students in the learning process is still low. To solve that problem, need to use teaching materials in the form of student worksheet to guide students to developing and implementing the concept independently. The research aims to describe the preliminary study of student worksheet development. This research includes descriptive research and instrument used are questionnaire and interview sheet. Research subjects are physics teacher and students of second grade high school 2, 3, and 7 Padang, West Sumatera. And then, the results of the preliminary study described. First, the competence of knowledge and skill students needs improvement. Second, the use of learning models and approaches that involve students direct activities have not been optimally carried out by the teacher. Third, the available student worksheet have not optimally to guided students in developing and implementing the concept independently. This preliminary study describes the need for the development of student worksheet using the inquiry based learning model with science process skills approach for physics learning of second grade high school.
The development of the business and industrial world (DUDI) demands an increase in hard skills, creativity and critical thinking from school graduates, including graduates of Vocational Schools. One of the efforts to achieve this is by implementing an freedom of Learn, where the learning process is constructivism which means student-centered learning. Furthermore, the understanding of a prospective educator related to the constructivism philosophy contained in the concept of independent learning must be improved first. This article will explain the philosophy of constructivism in the concept of freedom of Learn to develop understanding of prospective educators so they can implement it in vocational school learning. In this study the authors used the library research method, aiming to explore and collect relevant information and data from various sources obtained such as textbooks, dissertations, theses, research journals, research reports, documents of scientific discussion results, etc. Constructivism is defined as learning that emphasizes that knowledge is self-construction. Constructivism has an understanding of learning that emphasizes process rather than results and has the principle of student-centered learning, the teacher is only a facilitator and students discover more for themselves. This is very much in line with independent learning, students have the freedom to determine the knowledge they need by emphasizing the learning process. Prospective educators have an important role to play in building the competencies needed by students, these competencies are the 4C skills (critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity). Education that applies 4C skills and provides independence in thinking, digging for the truth, reasoning critically and seeing phenomena in students will form students with superior character who have adaptive abilities and are ready to face the industrial world.
Many aspects are very influential for the continuity of Indonesian society, especially Medan. One of the aspects that affect the continuity of the people of Medan is the weather. Weather plays an important role in various sectors, such as agriculture, aviation, and many other sectors. The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is always trying to develop their innovations to be able to provide accurate weather information to the public. To assist the process of disseminating weather information to the public in Medan City, we need a Weather Forecast application that uses Website-based computer technology so that it can help disseminate weather information easily and effectively which is generated through the support of the Hopfield method by connecting the application with BMKG data. Based on the results of this study, a weather forecasting application was successfully built to help disseminate weather information in Medan City to all Medan City people who want to get information about the weather.
Low understanding of students impacts low student learning outcomes in subjects due to teacher-centered learning orientation. Students have not been able to learn independently and only rely on material explanations from the teacher. Available teaching materials have not been able to facilitate students to learn independently and thoroughly. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the cooperative learning module student facilitator and explain. The research used to research and development methods using the Four-D (4D) development model. The data collection methods used were questionnaires and tests. The method of analysis was carried out by descriptive and inferential analysis with the t-test. The results obtained from this study were the validity of the module based on cooperative type student facilitator, and explaining was declared valid on the material aspects in the module with a total validity score was 99.3%, and the module format aspect was declared valid with a total score of 91.7. The student facilitator type of cooperative learning module is practically based on the teacher's assessment with a practical score of 88.62% in the very practical category and 88.98% in the very practical category. The module effectiveness score increases the pretest score of 55.00 to 84.58 in the post-test score with the gain score in the medium category. Based on the findings of this study, it is concluded that the module based on cooperative type student facilitator and explaining is valid, practical, and effective to be used as a learning medium in the subject of estimating construction costs
