<p>Tidak sedikit petani menjual hasil panen pertanian berupa produk primer. Pengolahan hasil untuk memberikan nilai tambah sebagai alternatif meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan belum membudaya. Beberapa kendala teknis, ekonomis, sosial, dan manajerial dihadapi petani. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) melakukan monitoring dan evaluasi terhadap kesejahteraan petani kakao rakyat dan advokasi pengembangan agroindustri mamin kakao, dan (2) Memberikan pendampingan petani dalam pemasaran produk kakao, penataan kelembagaan dan pengendalian mutu. Analisis data menggunakan statistika deskriptif dan analisis Partial Least Square (PLS). Sebagai produsen pemula agroindustri mamin kakao, petani rentan gagal dalam mengembangkan bisnis. Keberlanjutan usaha dan kesejahteraan petani memerlukan pendampingan intensif dari semua pihak.</p>
This study aims to analyse consumer preference on the attributes of rice and describe the comparison of performance of packaged rice and bulk rice in the eyes of urban consumer. The method of this study uses survey on 100 respondents chosen purposively. The primary data that is obtained is analysed quantitatively using the attitude multi-attribute model from Fishbein. Based on the analysis result, it is known that expiration clarity is a positive attribute in both packaged rice and bulk rice, followed by the ease of obtaining in the bulk rice, and the contents in the packaged rice. The attributes with positive value indicates the key factor that determine consumer’s assessment in choosing certain rice brand. From the semantic differential comparison, it is found that branded packaged rice is generally better in attributes compared to bulk rice. According to the results, the efforts to increase rice agro-industrial in local farmer level are recommended, so that they can enjoy the benefits of the multi-attributes attached in the branded packaged rice that they produced.
Research purpose are examine and formulating the internal factors, external resources and various folk cocoa agribusiness management’s in Jember Regency. The study was conducted in Rambipuji and Wuluhan Jember. The study population is farmer households (RTP) cocoa and sampling using random sampling. Analysis of the data used is SWOT. The results showed that many internal factors, external of the various aspects of the management of resources and determining the development of the folk cocoa plantation. As an alternative to folk cocoa plantation development strategy is strength which is owned through that take advantage of the opportunities and chances include resources, business management and infrastructure in folk cocoa.
Cocoa is one of the plantation commodities whose role is quite important for the national economy, especially as a provider of employment, a source of income, and foreign exchange. Financial profit is a necessity in exploiting a commodity. The market aspect is one of the determining factors for the success of cocoa plantation operations. So the results of the analysis above are combined with stakeholder opinions on the development of cocoa agribusiness. The objectives of this study are: 1) Analyzing the financial feasibility of cocoa farming 2) Analyzing cocoa farming chain and marketing margins 3) Identifying stakeholders' opinions on alternative decision making for cocoa agribusiness development 4) Developing cocoa agribusiness development directives. Financial feasibility analysis methods (NPV, Net B / C, IRR, Payback Period, and Sensitivity Analysis), marketing analysis (chain analysis and marketing margins), and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results showed that: (1) Cocoa farming is feasible to be developed financially, because the value of NPV> 0, Gross B / C> 1, Net B / C> 1, IRR> applicable interest rate, and return on capital with a time limit less than 20 years. The sensitivity of cocoa farming occurs in decreasing production. Where cocoa farming is still feasible if these conditions occur. (2) Marketing chains and margins, namely, there are two cocoa marketing channels, marketing margins of IDR 5,000 and IDR 2,000. (3) The selection of alternatives that greatly affect the development of cocoa agribusiness is market factors, HR factors, and technology factors. The direction of agribusiness development needed is the availability of a market that has stable cocoa prices for farmers, the availability of skilled human resources in cultivation and post-harvest technology that is able to provide greater added value to cocoa.
The purpose of this study is to determine the role of urban farming community empowerment to improve food security (A case study of RT 02 and RT 03 Awikoen village, Gending-Gresik Urban Village). The method of analyzing data in this study uses Structural Equation Modeling Parial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using Smart PLS 3 application. The results of this study shows that the variable empowerment of urban farming community members had a real influence to improve food security in Gending urban village, Gresik Regency.
