Covid-19 has changed the learning process from class attendance to distance learning using the Internet. Early childhood education is threatened to enter into the lost generation, due to distance learning, which causes confusion for teachers and parents to be able to provide the best stimulation for them. Therefore, the Indonesian government made a new policy on online learning. The objectives of this research are to find how effective at online learning policy formulation, how productive it is in policy implementation, and what are the obstacles of the implementation at Early-Childhood Education (ECE). This qualitative research uses a mixed method approach with an iterative analysis design, conducted in Central Java Province in 35 districts / cities with 1,899 respondents. Data collection techniques with open-closed questionnaires, study from 15 documentation, and in-depth interviews. Data analysis uses quantitative-qualitative software Nvivo12+, with Miles and Huberman models. The results showed the policy formulation of online learning at ECE has been effective. However, the implementation of online learning policy at ECE still takes a lot of effort to become more powerful in preventing a decline in learning. There are five obstacles in in applying this in the field, namely the ability of teachers, the ability of parents, economic capability, facility constraints, and pedagogical constraints. The postgraduate programs in human resource management at PGRI University Semarang include only the teaching materials provided by the lecturer. No form of media is used to improve students’ learning interests. Thus, this study explores a mixed reality-based educational mobile application that enables students to see the real world based on virtual and augmented realities, displaying information in 3D to ultimately increase their motivation and learning outcomes. The current research uses the R&D model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Develop, Disseminate). In their first year of research, the authors have developed a mobile education product based on mixed reality for the postgraduate human resources management course. The product has been validated by a material expert with an average score of 93 and a media expert with an average score of 92. This shows that a mobile education product is effective in improving students’ learning interests and outcomes. Keywords: design, educational games, courses, education human resource management
Learning citizenship education courses at the university PGRI Semarang not yet used digital-based books in learning, usually lecturers only use printed textbooks so students are heavy carrying it. Therefore, lecturers are expected to be able to make online and offline-based digital books that are packaged attractively with animation, music, videos, etc., so that the lecture process becomes more enjoyable. The research method using the ADDIE R&D model (Analysis, design, development, desiminate) which was carried out for 2 years. Then the results of the analysis of the student questionnaire were limited and the FGD questionnaire with the lecturer to test material from the media aspect, material aspects, language aspects, and aspects of social diversity then it was proven that the digital book design was feasible to be used as a learning medium in the civics education course. The results of this research is a digital book product that is ready to be used in all citizenship education study programs such as UPGRIS, IKIP VETERAN, UNNES, and campuses around the city area of Semarang
For the first time in 2022, the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture issued a comprehensive report, namely the ‘Education Report Card.’ This report card describes the performance of education at schools and the local governments. This study aims to determine the differences in student learning outcomes based on school characteristics, the differences in school characteristics with different performances, and the factors that are strongly correlated with student learning outcomes. This research is quantitative with a correlational type. A total sample of 440 schools spread across 5 regencies in Central Java Province whose data comes from the year 2022 education report card for basic education level, was used in this study. The statistical analysis used is non-parametric with the Mann-Whitney and Kruskal Wallis difference test and the Spearman correlation test. The results showed that there were significant differences in student learning outcomes based on the type of school, and the status of the school, but not for the type of regencies; there were significant differences in teacher characteristics, learning processes, management processes, and school climate; and factors strongly related with student learning outcomes are the quality of the learning process, the quality of school management, and school climate. The implication of the results of this study is used as the basis for preparing education policy to improve the quality of education by local governments and improving weak educational inputs and processes. The rapid development of science and technology requires universities to prepare competent human resources in their fields, one of which is the ability in teaching practice in schools. To improve the students’ ability in teaching practice in both Indonesia and overseas schools, it requires a strategic effort, such as exchange student program. Therefore, Universitas PGRI Semarang conducts MOU with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia. Through this program, the students are expected to be able to adapt the character learning and become a professional teacher in the future.Factors influencing the success of the students in joining the exchange program can be seen from the internal and external aspects. Therefore the purpose of this study is to determine what factors influence the success of teacher students of Universitas PGRI Semarang in Malaysia. The population of all students who joined the international PPL program in Malaysia is 18 students with random sampling for students teaching in grade 4 and 5. The data were obtained from questionnaire and interview.Based on the questionnaire, it is found that 95% of Universitas PGRI Semarang students are very pleased to join the International PPL program in Malaysia, as the cultural environment similar to the Indonesian nation give the easier adaptation process. Based on the interview with the students, the benefits of this program are as follows: 1) 90 % of students claim to gain new life and social experiences; 2) 87 % of students get additional knowledge about education in Malaysia; 3) 92% of students get strong fraternity from other apprentice students of other state / private universities, and 4) only 30% of students are constrained by the language difficulties, 30% of students have difficulties in learning time, and 20% of students have difficulties in funding.
