Abstract—Currently, an academic system with structured data is needed for all lecture institutions, especially universities in Indonesia, Siliwangi University, with its academic system, namely the Campus Academic Information System (SIMAK). Over time, complaints from the visual aspect and user experience that did not keep up with the times became a new problem for SIMAK with student access rights. Therefore, the UI/UX aspect in developing an application is vital in accessing the available features. In this study, the method applied is Design Thinking to develop SIMAK WEB and SIMAK MOBILE application designs according to the data and input obtained from users. The research stages include Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. The final result is user testing from expert users with ten examiners, each producing a success rate percentage of 100% for SIMAK WEB and a percentage of 90% for SIMAK MOBILE. In addition, the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) assessment from the same expert user plus end-users of 39 respondents and 33 respondents for web and mobile respectively increased 6 UEQ scales, namely Attractiveness, Clarity, Efficiency, Accuracy, Stimulation and lastly especially Novelty which has an increase of 5.286 and 5.264 from the initial value of -0.880. The Novelty scale is the only scale with a negative impression initially and was successfully evaluated in this study with a good score. The implication for further research is that an in-depth study and application of unique methods regarding the conversion of designs into prototype form is necessary so that coding can run smoothly. This study aims to determine whether the competences of Physical Education (PE) teachers make contributions to the quality of learning achievements of elementary school students. It was qualitative descriptive research using a reflective explorative approach. The subject of this study was the result of competence test of PE teachers in Yogyakarta Special Region in 2016. The study involved 60 PE teachers who were subjected to have an FGD (Forum Group Discussion) in some stages. The results show that the average score obtained by elementary school PE teachers in their Teacher Competence Test (TCT) stage II in 2016 was 61.79 for the pedagogical competences, and 60.07 for the professional competences. These results could exceed the national average score of 53.7. Based on the interviews with several teachers, the results of the competence tests had not indicated that PE elementary school teachers could improve the students’ learning quality. The teachers focused more on their preparations to take the TCT as a part of the assignments to the Learning Teacher program they participated in. This study also reveals that the TCT scores did not make a significant contribution to the students’ learning achievements in PE subject. Furthermore, TCT was considered by the teachers as a goal and not as an instrument to improve their competences in the teaching and learning processes.

Esports is a strong phenomenon, especially in the world of children, youth, and youth. This study aims to contribute new ideas, ideas, and perspectives in the debate on Esports discourse in the world of sports, as well as in order to raise the awareness of sports academics to study more deeply about esports from various points of view of sports science. The research method used is library research. Data collection techniques by conducting a review study of books, literature, notes, journals and reports. Judging from the three main elements in sports, physical, competition and institutional, Esports cannot be identified as a sport mainly because of the physical activity missing in Esports. Although the movements that look amazing cannot be ascribed to Esports players, they require some motor skills in playing the game including hand-eye coordination and speed of action with strategic and tactical understanding but that is still considered lacking and still far from being a sport. Besides that, there is an element of addiction and symptoms of lack of movement, if you play video games too often, it is also a consideration in determining Esports as a sport. It is necessary for the role of various stakeholders and appropriate government institutions to handle esports so that they can develop and contribute as expected
Studies on youth physical activity have been growing out of the agenda to enrich literature thus far having been predominated by the epidemiological research. Epidemiological studies provide insightful knowledge about the youth's predispositions and competences for participating in physical activity. Despite the important contribution, epidemiological studies fail to take into account young people's lived experience regarding physical activity. This is especially true when more information is needed to look at their particular experience of social interruption as a result of transnational mobility. The current study sought to understand how youth make sense of life events regarding physical activity throughout the process of transnational mobility. More specifically, seventeen Indonesian youth participated in the interviews. Open ended interviews were conducted to specifically obtain their embodied experiences, lived experience of doing physical activity within contexts of different nationals. All recorded interviews were verbatim transcribed for further phenomenological analysis. Four themes emerged from the analysis including (1) physical activity within the Indonesian and New Zealand contexts, (2) comparison, (3) facilitators and barriers, and (4) adaptation. Their physical activity experiences intersect with home country historical backgrounds, immigration events, and acculturation processes.
This research provides an insight on ethical issues in researching immigrant youth physical activity from our experience in New Zealand. Ethics is not be an area that is wellexplored in immigrant studies, particularly among immigrant youth. The available literature appears to be messy because immigrant studies is highly contextual and case specificand so the ethical considerations and problems raised from an immigrant research project are mostly unique. For this reason, pulling some studies together and organizing them in a paper are quite challenging. However, we found out that the conception of Culturally Responsive Relational Reflexive Ethics (CRRRE) became very helpful. We will use these three ethical dimensions not as categorical but more as technical in organizing our writing so as to make it easy in writing and reading. And in addition to CRRRE, we will include commitment as ethics in studying immigrant youth physical activity. Indeed, the ethics we address could be multidimensional and therefore overlapping. More specifically, we should address issues on how these ethical dimensions could become problematic when being practiced vis-à-vis (a) the researchers' sociocultural backgrounds and ideologies; (b) the participants' sociocultural background and immigrant experience; and (c) the phenomenon of immigrant youth living in New Zealand.
