Problem statement:The objective of this research was to evaluate the level of understanding and students' interest in Jawi education, after educational technology media was used in teaching and learning at primary schools. This study emphasizes with more detail on the aspects of usage and effectiveness media-aided teaching system. Exploring the notion of instrument, recognized positive attitude and students associated with the use of educational technology media in teaching and learning process. Approach: A total of 52 students taken as a respondent at National School of Changgai Kelantan, reviewed the Educational Technology Media as a teaching method. Purpose of this study was to compare the scoring percentage, after using the ordinary method and educational technology media as a teaching aid. In order to realize the ultimate objective, field studies, questionnaire and survey libraries were implemented. Results: Proceeds from the research found that teaching and learning process with the use of Jawi in Educational Technology Media had a positive effect on students. The results showed that more than 63.4% student achievement increased in Jawi education after using this instrument. Conclusion: Computer usage can stimulate effective learning and improve the performance of Jawi education, enhancing the high level of interactivity among students.
Problem statement: The objective of this study were to determine the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intentions among the employees in XYZ Sdn. Bhd, Malaysia. Approach: A total of 32 set of complete questionnaires gathered from executives and non-executives of a local printing company were involved in the study and 32 completed the questionnaires. Using structured questionnaires in a controlled environment, the results manage to extract both intrinsic and extrinsic job satisfaction that influences the turnover intention. Results: The statistical results obtained in this study showed that both forms of job satisfaction (intrinsic and extrinsic satisfaction) have inverse relationship on employeesâ turnover intentions. Conclusion: Eventhough Instrinsic Job Satisfaction have stronger influence on Turnover Intention. Existence of Extrinstic Job Satisfaction also must be consider in measuring the intention
In a modern economy, there is no doubt that banks play a major role in generating the economic and financial growth. The individuals, the communities and the organizations are reliant on banks as their financial resources and necessities fulfillment. Their dependence to the banks has led them to engage a variety of contracts especially a debt-based contract. This contract required them to bond with the banks in the long period. Therefore, the various innovation products are designed to ensure the debtors are able to engage in an Islamic way and the banks are able to attain their income generation at the same time. While the debt contract is almost impossible to be implemented in Islamic banking system nowadays as it will lead to an interest, a modification process on the innovating sale contracts that have a commercial value for the bank is the only way for them to offer a debt-based contract to the people. Thus this paper attempts to explore the potential of ar-rahn product to solve the current problem. It tries to propose the enhancement of ar-rahn existing product offered by the bank and pawnshop as a good alternative to the financing products. The explored features of the potential of ar-rahn consist of the suitability of concepts adopted in the product, the possibility of longer repayment's period, the minimization of the shariah and economic issue of ujrah fee, the possibility of offering more than RM10, 000 borrowing money and the expansion of receivable pledge item. While the exploration of those features is discussed in a foundational and ideal basis, it is hoped to stimulate further investigation in the future.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder is categorized as psychiatry neurosis. Until today, there are no dominant factors that have been identified in influencing this disease to occur among university students. Problems in education, family, social and many others are some of the issues which result continous anxiety to these university students. This also gives negative psychological and physical effects. Although the treatment from the West manages to cure this illness, this gives negative side effects. From the Islamic point of view, anxiety disorder is seen as a spiritual disease. There is no specific treatment in curing this disease. However, with the practice of Qur’anic verses, Sunnah and also the practice of various ulama’ in the past, this illness can be coped through Islamic psychotherapy, which is one of the alternatives or complimentary ways to the existing treatment. The study uses the qualitative and quantitative research methods. The findings show that intervention through Islamic psychotherapy method gives positive reactions and this helps to reduce Generalized Anxiety Disorder among the university students
In retailing different requirement of service quality in product or services environment required. Some of the retail stores have lack on service quality whereas the salesperson is not well trained, unknowledgeable and rude. This study aims to evaluate the retail service quality from a supermarket in Kuching, Malaysia and sets out to determine what influence customers to shop. This research looks at the five dimensions of retail service quality: the physical aspect, reliability, personal interaction, problem solving and policy. A survey of 200 respondents was conducted and reliability test is measured to represent the dimensions whereas regression test and Pearson correlation is used to answer the research questions and testing the hypotheses. The overall finding confirms the importance of quality service, the need to upgrade services to remain competitive, and consideration by government on modernization of retail outlets using the credit card will bring burden to the consumers as against the benefits. In addition, implications of this study as well as directions for future research are discussed.
Finance is an important component of human life. Money is not everything, but it is necessary for survival and sustenance. Money is a tool or object of universally recognized value that can be used to exchange products, services and settle debts. Finances have become very important to improve the quality of life and overall well-being of a person. A life that is not based on Islamic Sharia will lead to an imbalance in life. In general, the method used in this study is part of a qualitative approach that involves the highlighting and analysis of secondary data obtained through documents, research results or writings that have been highlighted. The data obtained is then systematically analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results of the study show that every aspect of finance includes financial management skills, planning, budgeting, control and savings. Therefore, efforts need to be implemented to improve the level of financial management and financial behavior, especially among the youth. There are several factors that influence determination in financial management, among them are individual financial management factors, family management factors and the level of literacy in Islamic financial management. It further shows a person's level of determination towards financial management based on an Islamic perspective.
Islamic jurisprudence is a dynamic system. It is facilitated by some flexible methodologies. Nowadays, there are varieties of issues in Muslims' societies that are results or implications of developments in science and technology, and also results of changes that happen in the structures of the societies. In order to face this reality, a contemporary integrated approach has to be applied in Islamic Jurisprudence's research process. Hence, this paper will elaborate the integrated approaches that try to unify and integrate theories in Islamic jurisprudence with social research methods. Basically, there are models that have been introduced by several scholars that relate to this integrated approach. All of the models have their own strength and weakness in these approaches. This paper attempts to analyze the integration of Islamic jurisprudence theories with the gender analysis method and its relation to social critics methods. This is related to an issue in fiqh pertaining to polygamy that is always being debated nowadays and also to analyze the applicability of the practice in the social and contemporary conditions of our soceity.
