Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui toksisitas dari ekstrak daun soyogik menggunakan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) dan menentukan kandungan fitokimia daun soyogik (Saurauia bracteosa DC). Ekstrak dibuat dengan cara soxhletasi menggunakan pelarut metanol. Uji toksisitas dilakukan dengan menggunakan larva udang Artemia salina Leach yang berumur 48 jam. Efek toksik ekstrak diidentifikasi dengan presentase kematian larva udang menggunakan analisis probit (LC50). Kandungan fitokimia meliputi fenolik, flavonoid dan tanin. Penelitian menunjukkan ekstrak daun soyogik bersifat toksik (LC50: 35,4 ppm). Kandungan senyawa fenolik (128 ppm), flavonoid (44,4 ppm), tanin (86,75 ppm).The aims of this research were to determine the toxicity of soyogik (Saurauia bracteosa DC)leaf extract using Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) and the content of its compounds. The extraction was carried out by soxhletation using methanol. Toxicity assay used Artemia salina Leach larvae of 48-hours age. Toxic effects of the extract were identified by the percentage mortality of shrimp larvae using probit analysis (LC50). Leaf extract was furthertested to phenolic, flavonoid and tannin contents. The results showed soyogik leaf extract was toxic (LC50: 35,4 ppm). The content of phenolic, flavonoid, and tannin compounds were 128 ppm, 44,4 ppm and 86,75 ppm, respectively.
ANALISIS KANDUNGAN FITOKIMIA DARI UJI TOKSISITAS EKSTRAK METANOL DAUN SOYOGIK (Sauraula bracteosa DC) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE MASERASI ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui LC50 ekstrak metanol tanaman soyogik yang diekstraksi secara maserasi dan menganalisis kandungan fenolik. Analisis kandungan fitokimia meliputi uji fenolik, uji flavonoid dan uji tanin . Uji toksisitas menggunakan metode BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test) dengan menggunakan larva Artemia Salina Leach. Hasil yang diperoleh dan dianalisis dengan analisis probit menggunakan S.PSS 20.0 untuk mengetahui nilai (LC50). Nilai LC50 yang diperoleh berdasarkan uji toksisitas daun soyogik yaitu sebesar 37,30 ppm. Kandungan fenolik, flavonoid dan tanin berturut-turut adalah 43,06, 6,52 dan 17,91. Phytochemical screening include phenolic, flavonoid and tannin test. Toxicity assay using BSLT (Brine Shrimp Lethality Test) method using Artemia Salina Leach. Results were analyzed by probit analysis using SPSS 20.0 for Windows to know the value of (LC50). Screening phytochemicals shows that there is antioxidants activity of Soyogik leaves. The LC50 values were obtained by testing the toxicity of Soyogik leaves is equal to 37.301 ppm. The phenolic, flavonoid and tannin content were 43,06, 6,52 and 17,91, respectively. AKTIVITAS ANTIOKSIDAN EKSTRAK METANOL DARI DAUN SOYOGIK (Saurauia Bracteosa DC.) Daun Soyogik diekstraksi dengan metode maserasi menggunakan pelarut metanol. Ekstrak pekat kemudian dilakukan pengujian aktivitas antioksidan dengan metode DPPH. ANALISIS KANDUNGAN PATI DALAM BATANG TANAMAN AREN (Arenga pinnata) ABSTRAK Penelitian dilakukan untuk menganalisis kandungan pati dalam batang tanaman aren (Arenga pinnata) dengan caramengetahui variabilitas kandungan pati pada pohon aren di beberapa lokasi yang berbeda di Tomohon dan hubungannya dengan beberapa faktor produktivitas tanaman. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan meliputi pengambilan sampel, pengukuran kadar air, preparasi sampel, pembuatan kurva standar, dan analisis pati. Hasilnya menunjukkan adanya perbedaan kandungan pati pada berbagai posisi di pengaruhi oleh produktivitas dari masing-masing pohon aren dari beberapa lokasi yang berbeda di Tomohon. Kandungan pati yang tertinggi diperoleh sekitar 1 m di bawah bunga betina pertama pada Posisi 5 bervariasi dari 26-37 %. Kandungan pati diatas 35 % dijadikan indikasi tanaman akan menghasilkan nira yang baik. Kata kunci : A. pinnata, Kandungan Pat. ANALYSIS OF STARCH CONTENT IN STALK PALM SUGAR PLANT (Arenga pinnata) ABSTRACT The research do to analyze starch content in stalk palm sugar plant (Arenga pinnata) with to know the variability of starch content in palm sugar plant at some different location in Tomohon and the relationship with some productivity factors of plant. The research activities included starch sampling, measurement of water content, sample preparation, making standard curve and analysis of starch content. The results showed different starch content at various position at a tree and in the trees at various locations in Tomohon. The starch content corelated to the productivity of each palm sugar trees at different location in Tomohon. The highest of starch content found about one meter under first female flower at the fifth position has variation from 26-37%. Starch content above 35% indicated that tree will produce juice. ABSTRAK Penentuan nilai LC50 dari ekstrak metanol daun liwas menggunakan metode Brine Shrimp Lethality Test (BSLT) terhadap hewan indikator udang Artemia salina menunjukkan nilai LC50 dari A. salina bersifat sangat toksik.Nilai LC50 yang didapatkan sebesar 15,696 mg/L. Nilai LC50 ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode SPSS 20.0.Ekstrak metanol daun liwas mengandung kandungan senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti flavonoid, tanin dan saponin sebagai hasil uji fitokimia.
