This research develops a model of characteristic training and character education management to produce academic, profession, and vocational (potential teacher and teacher) teachers who have superior competence in disseminating noble character of the nation. By using Researh & Development approach, this research uses Padepokan Character locus PPKn FIS Unnes Department. The subjects of the study were the newly graduated Unnes students, the young teachers in Semarang City and Central Java Province. The factual model of training management and the development of character education that runs so far contains weaknesses in various aspects, from planning, implementation, to evaluation of activities. On the basis of the analysis of a number of weaknesses of the factual model is then carried out the reconstruction of the conceptual model departs from the review of ethical factors and emotic factors. Conceptual model is then refined again by accommodating the results of focus group discussion with the stake holders and utilize the potential and resources owned by the character padepokan Unnes Political Education and Citizenship. This model has incorporated various aspects of the training, from the refinement of the factual model greed, the consideration of ethical factors and the emotional factors, as well as the aspirations and needs of the stake holders, so it is feasible to experiment in the wider domain.
Abstrak. Biogas merupakan salah satu energi alternatif yang sekarang banyak dikembangkan. Selain murah, biogas juga ramah lingkungan. Metan (CH4) merupakan unsur gas yang menentukan kualitas biogas. Bila biogas memiliki kadar metan yang tinggi maka biogas tersebut akan memiliki nilai kalor yang tinggi. Oleh kerana itu kemurnian biogas tersebut penting. Sehingga perlu melakukan penelitian pemurnian biogas yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kadar gas metan (CH4) dengan rancangan alat pemurni dan untuk meningkatkan nilai guna biogas. Metode yang dilakukan adalah adsorpsi menggunakan kombinasi arang aktif dan zeolit alam dengan perbandingan, 30 : 70 m/m, 50 : 50 m/m dan 70 : 30 m/m dengan waktu pemurnian selama 30, 60 dan 90 menit. Hasil penelitian diperoleh alat purifier biogas yang terbuat dari pipa paralon yang dilapisi fiber dengan dimensi panjang 60 cm dan diameter 10 cm. Semakin lama waktu pemurnian maka konsentrasi gas metan yang dihasilkan akan semakin tinggi yaitu pada lama pemurnian 90 menit. Kombinasi arang aktif dan zeolit dengan perbandingan 50 : 50 m/m merupakan kombinasi terbaik dalam melakukan pemurnian biogas.
ABSTRAK Guludan horizontal (searah kontur) telah terbukti sangat efektif menurunkan laju erosi tanah pada lahan kentang, namun efektifitasnya dalam meningkatkan kualitas tanah maupun produktivitas tanaman yang optimal perlu dikaji lebih mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh kombinasi mulsa dan pupuk terhadap erosi dan kehilangan nutrisi tanah pada lahan kentang dengan aplikasi bio-arang dan guludan horizontal. Sebanyak 6 demplot kentang (6 m x 3 m) dengan aplikasi bio-arang (5 ton/ha) dan guludan horizontal (5 lajur) disiapkan masing-masing untuk perlakuan mulsa plastik-pupuk organik (MPO), mulsa jeramipupuk organik (MJO), tanpa mulsa-pupuk organik (TMO/kontrol), mulsa plastikpupuk anorganik (MPK), mulsa jerami-pupuk anorganik (MJK), dan tanpa mulsapupuk anorganik (TMK/kontrol). Laju aliran permukaan (runoff) dan kehilangan tanah (soil loss) pada setiap demplot diukur pada setiap kejadian hujan dengan menggunakan kolektor sedimen, serta kadar N-total dan P-total-nya dianalisis di laboratorium masing-masing dengan menggunakan metode Kjeldahl dan Kolorimetri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MPK mampu menahan laju runoff dan soil loss lebih baik daripada yang lain atau masing-masing 11.9-18.1% dan 41.8-48.1% lebih efektif dibanding kontrol. Lebih jauh, MPK dapat menekan kehilangan N-total dan P-total lebih signifikan daripada yang lain atau masing-masing 30.1-38.9% dan 31.9-44.8% lebih baik dibanding kontrol. Dengan demikian, MPK dipandang sebagai kombinasi yang sesuai untuk budidaya kentang dengan aplikasi bio-arang dan guludan horizontal. Abstrak-Kabupaten Banyumas memiliki banyak sungai yang potensial untuk dikembangkan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikrohidro (PLTMH). Konsep listrik berbasis mikrohidro dengan memanfaatkan sumber air yang berada di sekitar pemukiman. Tujuan penelitian ini membuat peta potensi sungai di wilayah Kabupaten Banyumas untuk dikembangkan PLTMH skala 100-500 kW, membuat rancangan dan prototipe PLTMH skala laboratorium serta uji performansi. Pelaksanaan penelitian meliputi: pengumpulan data iklim, pengukuran debit sungai dan ketinggian terjunan; Pembuatan prototipe turbin cross-flow; serta uji performansi protipe di Laboratorium Teknik Sistem Termal dan Energi Terbarukan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Jenderal Soedirman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa rancangan turbin cross-flow belum menunjukkan performansi optimum, tetapi peralatan transmisi dapat bekerja baik, sistem penyaluran energi bekerja cukup baik memutar turbin pada kondisi dengan maupun tanpa beban. Hasil pengujian menggunakan kekuatan motor pompa penuh didapatkan hasil 1.114,7 rpm generator; voltase 77,7 V; dan arus 0,5 A pada saat tanpa beban, serta 1.018,6 rpm generator; voltase 70,2 V, dan arus 0,5 A pada saat diberi beban lampu LED 5 W.Kata kunci -Mikrohidro, PLTMH, turbin, cross-flow, transmisi.Abstract -Banyumas District has a lot of potential rivers, to develop Micro Hydro Power Plant (MHP). The concept of MHP is to utilize water sources located around the settlement. The purpose of the study are: to create a map of potential river in the district of Banyumas to develop MHP scale 100-500 kW; create a design and prototype laboratory scale; and conduct performance test laboratory. Implementation of the research include: climate data collection, measurement of flow rate and head; prototyping cross-flow turbine types, and performance test of the prototype MHP conducted at the Laboratory of Thermal Systems Engineering and Renewable Energy, Faculty of Agriculture, Unsoed. The research results of a cross-flow turbine has been designed not show a good performance, but the transmission equipment can work, and the energy distribution could turn turbines, both on the condition of using and without load. Test results using the full power of the pump motor when no load is obtained 1114.7 rpm generator; voltage of 77.7 V; and a current of 0.5 A, whereas when using the 5 W LED lamp load generated 1018.6 rpm generator; voltage of 70.2 V and a current of 0.5 A.
ABSTRAKKeterangan umur simpan (masa kadaluarsa) produk pangan merupakan salah satu informasi yang wajib dicantumkan oleh produsen pada label kemasan produk pangan. Penentuan umur simpan produk pangan dapat dilakukan dengan menyimpan produk pada kondisi penyimpanan yang sebenarnya. Cara ini menghasilkan hasil yang paling tepat, namun memerlukan waktu yang lama dan biaya yang besar. Metode pendugaan umur simpan dapat dilakukan dengan metode Accelerated Shelf-life Testing (ASLT), yaitu dengan cara menyimpan produk pangan pada lingkungan yang menyebabkannya cepat rusak, baik pada kondisi suhu atau kelembaban ruang penyimpanan yang lebih tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) untuk menduga umur simpan gula kelapa kristal dengan dua jenis bahan kemasan yang berbeda dan menggunakan metode ASLT (Accelerated Shelf Life Testing) (2) untuk memberikan jaminan mutu mengenai keamanan gula merah. Variabel yang diamati pada penelitian ini meliputi : kadar air awal produk (Mo, g H 2 O/g padatan), kadar air kesetimbangan produk (Me, g H 2 O/g padatan), kemiringan/slope kurva sorpsi isotermis (b), kadar air kritis (Mc, g H 2 O/g padatan), konstanta permeabilitas uap air kemasan (k/x, g/m 2 .hari.mmHg), luas permukaan kemasan (A, m 2 ), berat kering produk dalam kemasan (Ws, g padatan), tekanan uap air jenuh (Po,mmHg). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa umur simpan gula kelapa kirstal yang dikemas menggunakan alumnium foil yang disimpan pada RH 60% adalah 11 bulan, sedangkan yang dikemas dengan Plastik PE adalah 18 bulan. ABSTRACT Information on shelf -life (expiration period) of food products is one of the information that must be included by producers on food product packaging labels. Determining the shelf life of food products can be done by storing the product in actual storage conditions. This method produces the most appropriate results, but requires a long time and a large cost. Estimating method of shelf life can be done using the AcceleratedShelf-life Testing (ASLT) method, which is by storing food products in an environment that causes them to break down quickly, both at higher temperature or humidity conditions. The purpose of this study are (1) to estimate the shelf life of crystal coconut sugar with two different types of packaging materials and use the Accelerated Shelf Life Testing method (ASLT) ,(2) to provide quality assurance regarding the safety of brown sugar. The variables observed in this study are: the initial moisture content of the product (Mo, g H2O/g solids), the product equilibrium moisture content (Me, g H2O/g solids), slope/slope of the isothermic sorption curve (b), critical water content (Mc, g H2O/g solids), vapor permeability constant of bottled wate (k/x, g/m2.day.mmHg), area packaging surface (A, m2), dry weight of packaged products (Ws, g solids), saturated water vapor pressure (Po,mmHg). Social studies have an essential role in applying character values for students. The purpose of social studies is to form good character and prepare students to become good citizens. This is following the goals of character education for children with special needs, namely to meet needs, familiarize social life, and form good behavior and attitudes following the norms prevailing in the society. Therefore, students must live in harmony with the community, and so must be applied in students. So that the problems in the form of a lack of independent nature and self-confidence of SLB students at YPAC Semarang are problems that must be resolved by teachers and schools as facilitators, a low character of student discipline accompanies this lack of attitude, so schools need to implement it. For SMPLB D / D1 YPAC Semarang, character internalization that is trying to be carried out includes the value of the self-confident character to find their potential and develop according to their talents. Have an independent nature to equipping children with special needs to live independently by minimizing assistance from other parties and the character of discipline that will later become provisions before living in society.
Universitas Negeri Semarang, which has a vision as a conservation-oriented university with international reputation which was declared in 2010, has an important role in the context of developing the character of its students. The meaning of conservation itself, which does not only have a physical connotation, but also culture and values, is closely related to the UNNES vision. The conservation values implemented by Universitas Negeri Semarang are sourced from three conservation pillars, namely protection, preservation, and sustainable use. The values and culture that are assembled and packaged with these three pillars will provide an important meaning of life that can be the basis for character development in Universitas Negeri Semarang students. Therefore, through this study, students will be formed, character values that can make a very important contribution to the activities of community, nation and state life.
The problems of low level care and consistency on entrepreneurship education cause distortion in building students' entrepreneurship spirit. Identification of soft skills and CBT dimension is needed as the basic analysis in improving the effectiveness of entrepreneurship education. The purpose of this research was to understand the types of soft skills, the applied CBT concept, the involved actors, and the learning process. The methods used in this research were observation, interview, and documentation. Meanwhile, the technique of data analysis employed was interactive model. The results of this research showed: (1) the intense involved actors, (2) the type of entrepreneurship that was developed, namely entrepreneurship and productive teachers have not yet synergized, (3) the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning still employed semi-modern conventional pedagogy, and were less contextual. The findings of this research can be used as basic policy in developing entrepreneurship education for related institutions by integrating the soft skills dimension and the application of CBT concept optimally to create students' entrepreneurship spirit on the level of personal maturity.
