A cana-de-açúcar (Saccharum officinarum) é uma das culturas de maior importância socioeconômica no Brasil, exercendo função de destaque na produção de açúcar e álcool. A busca intensiva por técnicas que maximizem a produtividade no cultivo de cana-de-açúcar aponta a aplicação de reguladores vegetais ou biorreguladores visando aumentos quantitativos e qualitativos na produção. Frente ao exposto, o presente trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar diferentes doses de estimulante a fim de verificar o desenvolvimento inicial das raízes. O experimento foi conduzido na cidade de Cosmorama/SP. Utilizaram-se rebolos provenientes de cana-de-açúcar da variedade RB86 – 7515, que foram acomodados em tubetes para aplicação dos tratamentos que correspondem ao parcelamento da dose recomendada pelo fabricante: T0 – 0%, T1 – 50%, T2 – 100% (dose recomendada pelo fabricante), T3 – 150% e T4 – 200%). Foram avaliados os parâmetros altura do perfilho (AP), número de perfilho (NP), diâmetro do perfilho (DP) e massa seca dos perfilhos com suas raízes (MSPR). Os tratamentos T0, T1 e T2 não apresentaram diferenças significativas em relação à AP e DP. Não houve diferenças estatísticas entre os tratamentos quando se analisou DP e MSPR. Com este estudo pode-se concluir que o uso de 50% da dose recomendada de ácido 4-indol-3-ilbutírico +ácido giberélico + cinetina influenciou, principalmente, na altura de perfilho, no entanto, para os outros parâmetros avaliados a aplicação de bioestimulantes no desenvolvimento inicial da raiz não apresentou um resultado satisfatório

O Milho (Zea mays L.), é uma das culturas de maior importância no Brasil, sendo o principal cereal cultivado. A busca por aumento de produtividade no cultivo é um fator que vem sendo requerido cada dia mais, pelos produtores e pelo mercado de grãos. A cultura do milho é uma das mais exigentes em adubação, porém responde bem a aplicação de fertilizantes, níveis nutricionais de qualidade elevam a produção final de grãos. Visto a necessidade do aumento de produtividade, o trabalho tem por objetivo avaliar a aplicação de bioestimulante comparado a aplicação de adubo foliar, avaliando assim o desenvolvimento da planta e peso dos grãos após a colheita. O experimento foi conduzido na cidade de Cardoso/SP, onde ocorreu a semeadura do milho da variedade P3397 PWU (Pioneer Sementes), e a aplicação dos tratamentos: T0 – Testemunha (sem aplicação), T1 – aplicação de hormônio sintético Stimulate®, na dose de 1 L/ha e T2 - aplicação de adubo foliar Exion Force®, na dose de 1 L/ha. Foram avaliados os parâmetros altura da planta, comprimento de espiga, peso de dez espigas, umidade dos grãos e peso total dos grãos. Foi utilizado o delineamento inteiramente casualizado 3x5 (tratamentos x repetição). Os tratamentos T0, T1 e T2 não apresentaram diferenças significativas em relação ao comprimento das espigas. Houve diferença estatística entre os demais tratamentos, sendo o T1 o tratamento que mais rendeu em peso aliado a baixa umidade dos grãos e altura da planta. Portanto, o uso do bioestimulante apresenta influência no desenvolvimento da cultura do milho, proporcionando maiores rendimentos.
