El objetivo de este trabajo es estudiar el impacto sobre la autorregulación del aprendizaje y la percepción de autoeficacia autorregulatoria, de un entrenamiento en aprendizaje autorregulado con una plataforma virtual Moodle, comparando dos modalidades: con y sin apoyo docente. Se empleó un diseño cuasi-experimental. Participaron 118 estudiantes chilenos de primer año, de tres carreras universitarias seleccionadas por la semejanza en sus objetivos y contenidos de estudio. El entrenamiento aborda un conjunto de procedimientos compatibles con el contexto educativo formal. Requiere estudio individual durante media hora semanal por 10 semanas. Cada sesión está centrada en un punto específico de estrategias de planificación del estudio, estrategias cognitivas o estrategias metacognitivas de aprendizaje. Los resultados muestran que el entrenamiento tiene un impacto favorable sobre la autorregulación del aprendizaje, indistintamente de si se realiza con o sin apoyo docente; sin embargo, al ser aplicado con apoyo docente aumenta la percepción de autoeficacia autorregulatoria.
En este artículo se presenta el análisis de las propiedades psicométricas del Inventario de Procesos de Autorregulación del Aprendizaje (IPAA) en población de estudiantes universitarios chilenos. Para cumplir con este objetivo, se aplicó el instrumento a un muestra total de 780 sujetos, en su primer año de estudios, provenientes de diversos programas de pregrado. El análisis de datos se realizó mediante un análisis factorial confirmatorio y uno exploratorio. Además se analizaron los datos mediante estadísticos descriptivos, de manera de conocer la consistencia interna. Los resultados, de ambos procedimientos, evidenciaron una estructura bifactorial, con un factor general de autorregulación, que explica la mayor parte de la varianza, y 3 subfactores (Planificación, Ejecución y Evaluación), coherentes con la teoría. Además, todos los factores presentaron adecuados índices de confiabilidad. Se concluye que el IPAA es un cuestionario válido y confiable para ser aplicado a esta población.
Introducción: en términos científicos y sociales, los estudios sobre el bienestar han sido relevantes en los últimos años, lo que hace necesario investigar acerca de las propiedades psicométricas de los cuestionarios que se utilizan para su medición. El objetivo de este trabajo fue estimar las propiedades psicométricas del cuestionario PERMA-Profiler en una muestra de estudiantes universitarios chilenos. Materiales y métodos: se evaluaron las respuestas de 1462 estudiantes universitarios de una universidad tradicional ubicada al sur de Chile, con una edad media de 19.09 años (DE=1.72). Se realizó un análisis factorial confirmatorio, se evaluaron las correlaciones dimensión/total del cuestionario e índices de consistencia interna. Resultados: el análisis factorial reportó la presencia de cinco factores. Se presentaron niveles de correlación moderada, positiva y significativa entre las dimensiones del PERMA-Profiler. Los índices de consistencia de la escala total y de la mayoría de las dimensiones se ubicaron entre α=.65 a .91 y de ω=.66 a .92, a excepción de la dimensión de compromiso. Conclusión: se confirman los cinco factores propuestos en la teoría y un adecuado nivel de correlación entre sus dimensiones y de fiabilidad del cuestionario. El PERMA-Profiler puede ser empleado para la medición de la salud mental de los estudiantes y como una herramienta válida para la evaluación de intervenciones en este contexto.
