This study discusses about design of static electricity and dynamic electricity learning media based on Android. designed learning media containing static and dynamic electrical materials that are abstract and not visible to see. The material is described in real and easily understood by learners. The method used in the design of learning media is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Waterfall model. And the design model of learning media using UML (Unified Modeling Language) with Use case diagram, flowchart and then developed using Adobe Flash CS6 tool. The results of this study indicate that the learning tool of static and dynamic electricity based on android easy to use for learners and teachers in the learning process. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang perancangan media pembelajaran listrik statis dan dinamis berbasis android. Media pembelajaran yang dirancang berisi materi listrik statis dan dinamis yang bersifat abstrak dan tidak bisa dilihat secara kasat mata. Materi tersebut digambarkan secara nyata dan mudah dipahami oleh perserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam perancangan media pemebelajaran adalah SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) Waterfall. Perancangan media pembelajaran menggunakan proses UML (Unified Modelling Language) dengan Use case diagram, flowchart dan selanjutnya dikembangkan menggunakan tool Adobe Flash CS6. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran listrik statis dan dinamis berbasis android mudah digunakan bagi peserta didik dan guru dalam proses pembelajaran.
In the fact, students in the school were seen that most of them have low learning spirit, students were less active, because lack of using instructional media that corresponded with students characteristics in the learning process. This study aimed to know about effectiveness of instructional media based on interactive CD learning that had developed. Effectiveness test was carried out by giving pretest and posttest instruments to the students. The instruments of effectiveness was using test, and the data was processed by Independent T-test formula. Instructional media based on interactive CD learning was said effective to improve students outcomes because 87,60% students had reached Minimum Mastery Criteria. Based on the result, can be concluded that instructional media based on interactive CD learning on Basic Network was effective to use as instructional media on Basic Network learning process.
The dynamics of technological progress in various fields indirectly affect the world of education. One of the indications can be seen in the use of media as a learning tool. This study aims; 1) to investigate the effectiveness of the packet tracer learning media application, 2) to investigate the responses of the students to such applications, 3) to determine the appropriate media used in a learning process. The research is carried out in the subject of Computer Design Networking. The evaluation research is employed by using a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative approach. The quantitative analysis involved 58 students, while the qualitative analysis involved one productive teacher, one curriculum representative, and four students. Data are analysed by using quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The results show that, the effectiveness of learning media with packet tracer is high i.e., 82.76%, which covers three aspects; software engineering, learning aspects, and display aspects. This means that this packet tracer learning media can be applied as a solution to the limitation of facilities and infrastructures of network practices by considering certain learning situations and conditions. The results indicate that this application is very useful to deal with the high cost of practising tools. It makes the students more enthusiastic and motivated during the learning process. Hence, by implementing this learning method, the interaction and the learning outcomes of the student can be increased.
Transformation of technology in the 21st century required teachers to be able to integrate ICT in the classroom. Due to technological changes, curriculum changes have taken place in Indonesia and Malaysia. Changes in the curriculum were expected to be able to increase the competence and expertise of teachers in integrating ICT in the classroom so that an effective learning environment was created for students. This study aimed to explore Vocational Education learning strategies used by teachers in Indonesia and Malaysia. The best practices of Vocational education learning strategies were explored including various types of learning media that were integrated ICT. The research method used in this study was quantitative using a questionnaire as a tool to collect data consisting of indicators of remembering & understanding, application, analyze, evaluate and create utilized by the subject of the research, which was vocational school teachers in Malaysia and Indonesia. All data will be analyzed descriptively equipped with tabulations and distribution of empirical data. The results of the study showed that teachers in Indonesia and Malaysia have begun to integrate ICT in the classroom. Teachers have begun to be able to innovate and develop using the right information technology in existing learning situations.
The reason for this paper is to acquire execution data from the application of online learning from 3 aspects, in particular: planning learning, implementing learning, and evaluating learning using a quantitative technique approach. he sample in this study was 30 lecturers of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The outcomes showed that: (1) the learning planning obtained was 82.26% classified as good category; (2) carry out learning with a percentage of 78.96% belonging to the fairly good category; (3) online learning obtained by 79.13 percent is quite good. The overall results obtained are 80.12 percent which shows the performance of lecturers in the application of learning in the category of being brave and good.
Rapid technological change, especially in information technology, brings major changes in teaching and learning strategies for teachers to deal with millennial. The purpose of this study was to identify teaching and learning strategies used by vocational teachers, especially in applying the 2013 Vocational High School Curriculum (K13). This research is a type of survey method, data collected from 6 cities in the western part of Indonesia, namely Jakarta, Medan, Padang, Lahat, Bukittinggi, and Batam. 400 vocational teachers were actively involved as survey respondents. Two questionnaires were developed, namely teaching and learning strategies and IT (Information Technology) used by vocational teachers as learning media. The results showed that the majority of teachers (68.09%) used student central learning in teaching and learning theory in their classrooms, and 78.73% of teachers, facilitating students with practical work. The highest web application used by vocational teachers is the Microsoft office (64.25%) and Google (49.25%). In conclusion, the teacher center learning approach has undergone a shift to center-student learning, the teacher acts as a facilitator in learning by integrating technology in the classroom. The teacher is also required to be able to innovate and develop in using the right information technology in the learning situation at hand.
Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran langsung berbantuan media hand out terhadap hasil belajar dasar pola pada siswa kelas X Tata busana di SMK Negeri 1 Stabat tahun ajaran 2016/2017. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Post Test Only Design. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik total sampling dari populasi seluruh siswa kelas X Tata Busana SMK Negeri 1 Stabat yang terdiri kelas X-1 yang berjumlah 35 orang sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Intruction) berbantuan Media Hand out dan X-2 yang berjumlah 35 orang sebagai kelas kontrol dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional berbantuan Media hand out. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar pengamatan yang telah dinyatakan valid oleh validator. Hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel (20,05 > 1,66), yang artinya bahwa Hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima, yaitu adanya pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan tinggi pada hasil belajar pembuatan pola dasar badan atas dengan teknik draping dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung (Direct Intruction) berbantuan media hand out pada siswa kelas X Tata Busana SMK Negeri 1 Stabat. The sampel was take by using total sampling, that is class X-2 which totaled 35 people as experiment class using direct intruction model assisted hand out media and X-1 which totaled 35 people as control class using conventional learning models aided hand outs media. The instrument used in this research is the observation sheet that has been declared valid by the validator. The calculation result of hypothesis testing by t test obtained tcount > ttable (20.05 > 1.66), which means that the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. the existence of positive and significant influence on the learning result of basic pattern making upper body with a draping technique using direct intruction model aided hand out media in class X fashion at vocational high school 1 Stabat. Engineering education is very important to prepare quality graduates. An alternative hybrid and collaborative networks approach in learning is the current choice. This study aims to explain the online learning integrated project and Kolb learning style in mechanical engineering courses to enhance students' academic achievement which is implemented through a hybrid and collaborative networks approach. The research method used is a quantitative approach with the posttest control group design method. We carry out learning activities using Project and Kolb Learning on higher education students from Mechanical Engineering Education who take part in learning this project. Students who participate are limited to small groups, which are divided according to their learning styles groups, and the implementation is carried out in a hybrid and collaborative through e-learning and face-to-face. Collecting data using Kolb Learning Styles Inventory, and achievement test. While the data analysis used descriptive analysis and one-way Anova with the help of SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference in the average academic achievement of students based on the four learning style groups, and the thinker learning style group has the highest average academic achievement among the four. The selection of appropriate learning styles and learning models has an impact on optimal and effective academic achievement.
