This article presents an analysis of activities performed by teachers and administrative personnel of higher education institutions to create and make the best use of the physical culture and sports environment in higher education establishments. It was revealed that this environment should rest on the following structural components: rating scales for athletic performance evaluation of students and contemporary methods for teaching physical education lessons at universities. The efficiency of using rating score systems to measure the athletic performance of students was confirmed by a significant increase (P<0.01) in the number of young people who participate in PE and sports on a regular basis and who take part in competitions of various levels. The application of cardio and strength training programs (HOT IRON) in physical education lessons has proved effective for students as well. The students in the experimental group significantly improved their muscle power (P<0.01) and overall endurance (0.05). These programs can also be applied for effective body shaping and obesity prevention.
The study is devoted to the scientific substantiation of the training methods for the athletes and officers of the security forces to improve the effectiveness of kicks. Nevertheless, the analysis of the scientific literature showed that the existing methods of sports training of boxers kick boxers, etc. does not allow you to achieve the necessary impact force. The authors recommend using different methods of intensive functional training based on crossfit to increase the impact strength. The conducted researches have shown that the use of crossfit means allows to increase the force of kicks significantly and reliably performed by hands and legs by the cadets studying in the educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. We determined that the strength of a direct kick with the right and left hand to the head increased significantly. A significant increase in the strength of the kick is noted when performing a side kick with the right leg to the head. Meanwhile, the authors recommend using the methods of intensive functional training crossfit in the training activities of the athletes practicing the martial arts, police and military servicemen.
Abstract:The aim of this paper is to find out effective, informative and available monitoring techniques and ways of assessment of sambo wrestlers' functional readiness for training and competitive activity. Recent research based on the standard medical examination data suggests that many sambo wrestlers demonstrate unsatisfying types of cardiovascular response to exercise. The paper provides the results of a comparative analysis concerning the efficiency of utilization of two methods that allow controlling the functional state of sportsmen in the training for sambo wrestlers. These two methods include the assessment of heart rate recovery dynamics and ECG recording during training. As it was revealed, both techniques allow maintaining athletes' physical health. However, the ECG recording method, developed by Professor Zavyalov, seems to work better to increase the level of sambo wrestlers' functional readiness for intensive training and competitive activity. Sambo wrestlers who underwent ECG recording have demonstrated significantly less recovery interval after physical exertion (p<0.05), this being one of the key criteria of the level of sportsmen's functional readiness for high performance achievement.
This article discusses the different styles of professional activity of a teacher of higher education of a pedagogical profile. The purpose of the study: to develop the basic characteristics of the styles of professional activity of teachers in the humanitarian, natural sciences and physical education and sports areas of teacher education and experimentally prove the effectiveness of their implementation in the process of interaction "teacher-student". The obtained statistical data in the study prove the need for differentiation of styles of professional activity for students of various training profiles of the pedagogical institute. Based on the style of the teacher’s professional activity and the direction of the student’s pedagogical training, a reliably positive result was revealed in increasing the academic performance of students of the pedagogical institute.
