This article discusses the implementation of innovative technologies in the process of training students of a pedagogical university. The purpose of the study: to develop a set of didactic games for students - future teachers and experimentally prove the effectiveness of its implementation to enhance their creative pedagogical development. The experimental study was attended by full-time, part-time and evening students (n=286) of the Pedagogical Institute. Students of the experimental group implemented a set of special didactic games (n=14) in extracurricular activities during the school year. Didactic games were implemented by students independently on the basis of a university-wide student scientific society at the center of the council of students and student scientific initiatives. Didactic games for research and practical implementation were differentiated by target, long-term and structural features. The obtained statistical data in the study (p<0.05) proved the effectiveness of introducing a variety of didactic games in extracurricular time of students without the participation of teachers, in the mode of independent control over the process of their conduct. The didactic games implemented during the school year had a significant positive impact on creative pedagogical development through raising the level of creative well-being, communication skills and pedagogical improvisation of students. The study revealed new scientific data on the processes of increasing creative extracurricular activities of students and patterns that exist in the studied pedagogical science on this issue. This is one of the key conditions for improving the quality of professional training of future teachers.

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical research of the design engineers’ (civil engineering) professional activity psychological readiness problem, which was carried out in the general and special abilities’ theory context, the need to take into account general and individual typological mental development. The subject of study was intellectual readiness for work, as a system of mental activity qualities - generalization, awareness, independence, resilience, which are necessary for solving work tasks, and individual style of work - its formation (certainty), compliance with the reference method of work tasks and executive, in connection with the labor activity efficiency - quality and time costs. It was found that these pgsychological readiness components are interrelated, and the oranizing factor in their unity (as well as specific elements and indicators of manifestation) is the generalization of mental activity, which provides the subject's ability to determine and use the optimal way to solve work problems. The conclusion about the need for professionals to develop psychological readiness to work in such a structure is based on the results of empirical research.

The article presents the results of theoretical and empirical research of the problem of psychological aspects of ensuring the efficiency of professional activity of a Project Engineers in the context of the theory of general and special abilities, the need to take into account the general and individual-typological in the mental development of the subject of labor. The importance of considering professional skills in connection with the intellectual readiness of the subject to the activity and individual style of its implementation is theoretically substantiated. The empirical study revealed the presence of correlations between the efficiency of professional activity, psychological readiness and individual style of activity. The most referent in the description of the professional skills of project engineers are the time of labor tasks performance and individual style of activity, and the organizing factor in the unity of these indicators is the generalization of mental activity, which forms the core of intellectual readiness for work. Correlation analysis of the data allowed us to identify the presence of clear links between: 1) the efficiency of activity by time indicator and ISA: the more ISA corresponds to the reference method, the less time is spent on solving the labor task, and vice versa; 2) between ISA and intellectual readiness for activity; the higher the level of complexity of labor tasks, the higher the level of correlation between these phenomena.
