Multispecies pelagic fisheries have contributed as the main fishery production for the Bali Strait fisheries. To maintain the sustainability of the fish stock, sets of harvest control rules (HCRs) have been introduced in terms of fishery management. Conventional single-species surplus production models have been used extensively to determine the future annual allowable biological catch (ABC). However, they may not technically apply to multispecies fishery management. The feedback harvest control rule HCR has been validated and applied to maintain the catch variability of the multispecies fishery. This study aims to technically compare the use of the surplus production model and the feedback HCR in the ABC estimation. The catch and effort data series of the three dominant species from 2010-2019, collected from Pengambengan and Muncar fishing port, were analyzed by two HCRs, the Schaefer surplus production model and the feedback HCR to obtain the ABC. As a result, the Schaefer model showed a higher estimation of ABC than the feedback HCR because the feedback HCR may reflect the recent historical catch consistent with precautionary principles. The feedback HCR showed an initial step toward sustainably managing multispecies fisheries while dealing with unavailability in species-specific data conditions.
The Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model is a learning model in its application facilitating learners to be sensitive to social problems, take a position on the problem, and maintain that position / attitude with relevant and valid arguments so as to improve students' critical thinking skills. Critical thinking in this research refers to five indicators, namely the ability to form conclusions, formulate questions, uncover problems, formulate alternative solutions. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model on critical thinking skills of MTs N 1 Situbondo students. This study uses experimental research design with the form of Quasi-Experimental Design with the type of pretest posttest control group design. The sample in this study was class VIII G numbering 22 students and VIII H a number of 24 students with purposive sampling sampling technique. The technique of collecting data uses test questions with the description form. The data analysis technique in this study is to use the independent sample t-test. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence on the use of the Jurisprudential Inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking with indicators formulating conclusions, formulating questions, expressing problems and providing alternative solutions. The results of the hypothesis test show tcount 3.362 and ttable with a significance level (5%) 0.05, degree of freedom (db) = (n-2) then obtained t(0.05) (44) table = 2.015. The results of tcount>ttable,which shows the results of 3.362> 2.015. As for the significance level of 5% (0.05) has a significance value α> 0.05, i.e. (2-tailed) 0.694> 0.05., it can be concluded that thelearning model is Jurisprudential Inquiry more influential than themodel Problem Solving on the critical thinking ability of students on the material emergence of national organizations and the growing spirit of nationalism.
Abstrak: Empati dalam Tradisi Membakar “Tunam” dan “Melemang” Saat Malam Nujuh Likur Pada Masyarakat Kabupaten Kaur. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk memahami konsep empati berbasis budaya dengan mengkaji salah satu kearifan lokal (local wisdom) di Kabupaten Kaur. Kearifan lokal yang diangkat adalah tradisi membakar tunam dan Melemang pada malam nujuh likur (27 Ramadhan) pada masyarakat Kabupaten Kaur. Empati diartikan sebagai kemampuan mental individu dalam merespok secara empatik atas kejadian dari kondisi atau situasi orang lain dengan cara merasakan dan berpikir yang sama dengan orang tersebut. Tunam adalah susunan batok kelapa yang disusun secara vertikal, sedangkan Melemangproses membuat makanan khas yang terbuat dari beras ketan dengan campuran santan dan garam lalu dibakar dan nantinya akan dimakan bersama-sama dengan jiran tetangga dan sanak keluarga. Penelitian ini berjenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi dan kajian hermeneutika. Etnografi digunakan untuk memahami lebih mendalam pada konteks budaya sedangkan hermeneutika digunakan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam makna tunam dan melemang yang bukan hanya sekedar untuk penerangan semata. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dalam menetapkan sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tradisi membakar tunam dan melemang memicu munculnya ingatan-ingatan masa lalu serta perasaan-peraasan yang melibatkan emosi yang mendalam (pada usia 40 ke atas). Adapun perasaan yang muncul antara lain perasaan senang, semangat, sedih dan kebanggan diri/harga diri (self esteem). Adapun pada sampel siswa yang berusia 15 tahun (remaja), secara istilah mereka tidak mengetahui apa sebenarnya tunam akan tetapi ketika peneliti mendeskripsikan bentuknya (simbolik), ekspresi yang muncul adalah seperti mendapatkan pengetahuan baru yang belum pernah diketahui sebelumnya.Kata Kunci: Empati, Tunam, Melemang, Nujuh likur, Etnografi.
This article reveals the position of pesantren as a reflection of holistic Islamic education. Compared to other educational institutions, pesantren has a distinct advantage in terms of habituating Islamic values for students. Using a qualitative methodology and van Dijk's discourse analysis approach, this article was prepared by examining and analyzing all relevant references for the sake of obtaining a systematic conclusion. This article comes to the synthesis that pesantren has tremendous potential in shaping the personality of future generations of Muslims based on the Qur'an and Hadith. The role of the kiai is very vital and supported by activities laden with high levels of Islamic morality making pesantren have a very promising bargaining value for the realization of the objectives of Islamic education, namely the formation of our people. Therefore, without ignoring other Islamic educational institutions, pesantren must continue to be supported and at the same time synergize with other institutions in order to be able to spread these characteristics so that future generations of Muslims truly have Islamic character in their daily lives.
This research was done to get a mindset controlling in changing the tendency of agretivity teenegers. Variable was used to involving self controlling such as behavior control, cognitive control, and decisional control. The number of sample as much as 150 students that taken by using probability sampling technique. In resulting of validity research, the researcher did modification model of agretivity construction. CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) was used to test a measuring tools and Multiple Regression Analysis was used to test the research hypothesis. All of techniques, the researcher used software SPSS 18.0 and LISREL 8.70. the finding of result shown the three social control aspect named (behavior dan decisional). The evidence of giving the influenced to changing the degree of agresive to teenegers. behavior control (p-value <0,05) (B =-0,287) Aspect in suppoting the value 8,4% while decisional control (p-value <0,05
