This study aimed to determine the influence of support from the school culture and classroom environment in improving soft skills amongst students. Moreover, the study explored different soft skills, school culture and classroom environments based on gender and type of schools. This study used a quantitative approach by using surveys to gather information. A total of 400 students from three different types of schools were chosen using random sampling. The three types of schools were National Secondary Schools, Religious Secondary Schools, and Technical and Vocational Secondary Schools around Selangor and Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur. Data were analysed using SPSS 22.0 and AMOS 18. Results confirmed the distinctions of the school culture and classroom environments with the soft skills based on the gender and type of schools. SEM analysis corroborated that the school culture and classroom environment contributed to the development of soft skills. Therefore, schools should come up with programs and approaches to improve the soft skills amongst the students to be proficient in various fields in parallel with the rapid growth of the world.
The article explains District Integrated Administration Service Development Model (PATEN) as part of digital public service and transparancy to the community This is also a competitive model of Rambang Kapak Tengah Regency. The digital feature is refl ected on the website development that integrated with surrounding villages. The aim of digital public service is to give simplicity of service to the people. Furthermore, the principle of smart city is transforming outdated method to industry 4.0 approach. Hence the innovation can be started by developing website on Rambang Kapak Tengah Regency. The study makes use of 2 methodology; observation directly to the site to gain potential data and desk study to deepening the analysis of using digital platform on government administrative. The implementation of digital platform as one of smart city's criteria will provide easier access for people to get information and at the same time deliver accurate information.
The principle of autonomy is generally intended to accelerate the advancement and bring equal prosperity to all Indonesians in accordance with the needs and capabilities of each region. This advancement and prosperities were a result of determination and the decision-making as the local government authorities, which are considered to be most familiar with the condition of its own local societies and regions. This article discusses the good governance and its role in regional autonomy as well as its correlation with other stakeholder's good governance. What is the role of local government? What is the action that should be taken by local governments to address the new role? And what is the relationship between the local government and other stakeholders' good governance? The policy of decentralization and local autonomy are generally believed to be able to provide positive benefits in the realization of the goal namely improving the well-being and service to the community as well as economic empowerment of the region. Government decentralization is believed to ensure an effective accomplishment of aspirations and the needs of local communities for centralized designs community programs.
Given that electronic filing is one of the earliest e-government services in Indonesia, additional research is needed to determine the antecedents of service users' perceived net benefit. The e-government system success model by DeLone and McLean was used in this study, however trust factors were added to the government, technology, and e-government websites as antecedents. 195 individual taxpayers were sent a questionnaire including 39 statements as part of the study examination. Data were analyzed using structural equation model-partial least square (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of WarpPLS. This study concludes that these three antecedents determine the success of the e-government system, and thus that e-government development is the integration of trust in government, which is built by increasing its credibility in the eyes of the public, trust in technology, which can be accomplished through education, and trust in e-government websites, which can be accomplished by consistently improving the security and quality of government website services.
Indonesia saat ini dihadapkan dengan permasalahan pandemi virus corona (COVID-19), penyakit infeksi pernapasan akut yang menyerang paru-paru yang bisa mengakibatkan kematian. Wabah COVID-19 membatasi berbagai aktivitas masyarakat terutama pada dimensi sosial ekonomi yaitu kenaikan angka kemiskinan dan penurunan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Salah satu upaya pemerintah menanggulangi lonjakan kemiskinan akibat wabah tersebut adalah melalui program anjungan tunai mandiri (ATM) beras. ATM beras diharapkan dapat mengurangi dampak negatif yang dirasakan masyarakat terutama di bidang ekonomi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan pangan. Dengan mengadopsi metode kualitatif, penelitian ini berupaya menganalisis manajemen keuangan program ATM beras di Kecamatan Pemulutan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Data lapangan dikumpulkan melalui dokumentasi, observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pelaksanaan manajemen keuangan pada bantuan ATM beras di Kecamatan Pemulutan, Kabupaten Ogan Ilir belum terlaksana secara optimal. Peneliti merekomendasikan kepada BAZNAS Ogan Ilir untuk memperbaiki kualitas perencanaan, memperbaiki sistem alokasi beras per kecamatan, bukti transaksi keuangan, serta monitoring dan pengawasan.
Inovasi daerah merupakan salah satu faktor yang dapat mendorong kemajuan suatu daerah. Pemerintah telah menetapkan beberapa kebijakan yang mengamanatkan inovasi daerah. Implementasi kebijakan inovasi daerah menjadi penentu kesuksesan atau kegagalan inovasi di daerah, sehingga dirasa penting untuk melakukan Studi Implementasi kebijakan Inovasi Daerah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja implementasi kebijakan, dan menggali faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja kebijakan inovasi daerah. Desain penelitian dipilih studi kualitatif yang dilakukan di Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Teknis pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam pada 47 Informan kunci dan telaah dokumen. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif, induktif, dan analisis konten. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja implemetasi kebijakan inovasi daerah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan tahun 2022 sangat baik dengan skor Indeks Inovasi daerah (79,47), provinsi terbaik secara Nasional. Kinerja Kebijakan tersebut dipengaruhi oleh perilaku pelaksana, sikap pelaksana, karakteristik organisasi, komunikasi antarorganisasi, kondisi sosial, ekonomi, dan politik, sumber daya, dan pemahaman terhadap standar dan sasaran kebijakan. Variabel perilaku pelaksana merupakan temuan khusus dalam penelitian ini yang memperkaya Teori Imlementasi Kebijakan Van Meter Van Horn. Disimpulkan bahwa diperlukan komitmen kepala daerah dan perilaku positif dari seluruh jajaran dalam mengimplementasikan kebijakan inovasi daerah untuk meningkatkan indeks inovasi daerah.
Education is one of the most important aspects in the development and every citizen has the right to education, and the government is obliged to finance as mandated in the 1945 Constitution. However, the disparity in education access and equity is a problem faced by education in various regions in Indonesia, especially in rural areas. One of the efforts to solve the disparity in educational facilities in rural areas is to carry out village development by increasing the availability and accessibility of educational facilities through the village fund policy. Problem structuring is needed to formulate problems and produce knowledge about what problems must be solved, so that the use of village funds in increasing the accessibility of educational facilities is effective and efficient. In policy analysis, problem formulation is very important, so that the implemented policy resolves the right problems and avoids type III errors. One of the methods used in problem structuring is the classification method. Classification/segmentation of educational facilities accessibility is conducted using the Self Organizing Map algorithm approach. The results of the classification will map the problems and conditions of accessibility of village education facilities in Ogan Komering Ulu Selatan regency into several segments or clusters. This information can be used as a guide for the government in planning or determining development priorities, so that type III errors do not occur, particularly in the development of accessibility of educational facilities in villages. Thus, the use of village funds or other public policies resolves the right problems.
