A Hipertensão Arterial Sistêmica (HAS) evidencia-se como uma das mais importantes causas de morbimortalidade a nível mundial, sendo classificada como problemática de saúde pública. De acordo com a Teoria Transcultural de Leininger, os valores culturais desenvolvidos pelos indivíduos influenciam diretamente sua relação com a saúde e o autocuidado. Desse modo, objetivou-se através deste relatar uma ação de educação em saúde ocorrida no âmbito da atenção primária, cuja proposta perpassava pela mitigação dos agravos da HAS a partir de uma intervenção baseada na Enfermagem Transcultural. Além desta, utilizou-se a Teoria da Problematização, que conta com cinco etapas para a análise situacional e elaboração de intervenções, sendo elas: Observação da Realidade; Levantamento de pontos-chaves; Teorização; Hipóteses de Solução e Aplicação à Realidade. Este estudo caracteriza-se como descritivo com abordagem qualitativa, do tipo relato de experiência, no qual organizou-se um ciclo de atividades relacionadas as influências culturais nos hábitos diários e sua relação com agravos da doença, bem como sobre a importância do autocuidado. Como principais resultados evidenciou-se que muitos usuários hipertensos estavam com a pressão arterial descontrolada e que, muitas das vezes, esta alteração se dava pela continuidade de hábitos prejudiciais à saúde, que estavam diretamente ligados a fatores culturais. Desse modo, o estudo dessa temática se mostrou essencial, visto que ampliou a visão de saúde dos participantes envolvidos, possibilitando a prática de um autocuidado diligente e eficaz.
Objetivo: Entender a influência dos aspectos culturais relacionados ao Aleitamento Materno Exclusivo (AME) em puérperas atendidas no Alojamento Conjunto (ALCON) em um hospital de referência de materno infantil. Métodos: Trata-se de um estudo de campo, de caráter qualitativo. Foram entrevistadas 20 puérperas, com idade entre 18 a 36 anos, a partir de um questionário com perguntas semiestruturadas subdivididas em duas sessões: A primeira sessão com questões relacionadas à caracterização do perfil sociodemográfico das puérperas; A segunda com perguntas abertas referentes aos aspectos culturais em relação ao AME, onde seus dados foram tratados no software Iramuteq®. A pesquisa foi aprovada pelo Comitê de Ética e Pesquisa n° 4.568.359. Resultados: As ramificações geradas pelo software foram redefinidas em 3 categorias I- Aspectos relacionados a Amamentação; II Aspectos relacionados as orientações recebidas durante o pré-natal; III- Aspectos relacionados as orientações recebidas pelos familiares; que possibilitaram entender a influência cultural que as puérperas possuem, independente de idade, escolaridade, ocupação, religião e estado civil. Conclusão: O enfermeiro deve, em suas consultas no ALCON, valorizar esses conhecimentos culturais mediante a teoria transcultural voltando a realidade de cada puérpera no sentido de fazer com que os saberes tradicionais sejam discutidos e levados em consideração.
