We discuss the relativistic top theory from the point of view of the de Sitter (or anti-de Sitter) group. Our treatment rests on the Hanson-Regge spherical relativistic top Lagrangian formulation. We propose an alternative method for studying spinning objects via Kaluza-Klein theory. In particular, we derive the relativistic top equations of motion starting with the geodesic equation for a point particle in 4+N dimensions. We compare our approach with Fukuyama's formulation of spinning objects, which is also based on Kaluza-Klein theory. We also report a generalization of our approach to a 4 + N + D dimensional theory.
We prove that the mathematical framework for the de Sitter top system is the de Sitter fiber bundle. In this context, the concept of soldering associated with a fiber bundle plays a central role. We comment on the possibility that our formalism may be of particular interest in different contexts including MacDowell-Mansouri theory, two time physics and oriented matroid theory.

La Unesco (2004) estableció algunos criterios para asegurar que el uso de las TIC sea AbstractThe goal of this study was to comment, analyze and categorize in a descriptive way the generational lines and application of knowledge (GLAK) for various products of scientific research conducted in Mexico in relation to the integration of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) to the educational process. The main objectives were: to identify the specific type of population the research would be directed to, to compare the types of population with the greater and lesser number of research studies made, to compare the GLAK with greater and lesser number of studies, and to identify emerging fields of investigation. The methodology considered inclusion criteria in order to select repositories and types of documents to be analyzed (a total of 470 research papers were selected). The GLAKs upon which the research studies were to be conducted were also defined. Within the results, we found that the education levels with the greater and lesser number of students with regard to higher education and preschool education, respectively. The main voids of knowledge were found in the management and quality areas of educational programs, as well as educational policies related to ICTs. The emerging fields of research were related to the education of older adults, indigenous populations, and students with special needs.
The purpose of the study was evaluating, in the face of the contingency caused by the Coronavirus Disease pandemic (COVID-19), the mathematics teachers knowledge and availability of technological tools for teaching remote university courses. The research adopted the quantitative approach and the design is non-experimental, transactional and descriptive. Eighty-one teachers participated and the survey consisted of 38 items with dichotomous answers, Likert scale and multiple selection. The questions were related to the remote modality, the availability of technology devices and services, and the use of technological tools. According to the results, the mathematics teachers of one south Sonora university have internet access and technological devices to distance teaching, they know or have used virtual classroom platforms and applications that allow communication with students. The areas of opportunity that were detected are the distance courses design, the online exams and didactic material preparation, as well as the implementation of tools that promote collaborative work.
This study analyzed the attitudes of university students towards digital citizenship to improve practices when using technologies. The methodological design was mixed with a qualitative phenomenological approach and the quantitative part was correlational-causal with a non-experimental cross-sectional design. 84 students participated, of which 45 were studying engineering and 39 undergraduates. To obtain data, a semi-structured survey was applied individually to 72 participants, a focus group of three key informants and nine in an interview. The findings show that the process of appropriation of digital citizenship in university students still has a long way to go, given the limited acquisition of behaviors inherent to the proper exercise of digital citizenship. In this sense, the results are expressed in two aspects; on the one hand, the positive attitude where technology is expressed as an important part of society and its development, on the other hand, there is the negative attitude that perceives technology as a mere expendable tool. Finally, it is concluded that students must still improve the use of technologies since this use can negatively affect their training process.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
