This study investigates the distance learning process of teachers during school closure due to COVID-19's impact. This research focuses on the introduction of distance learning, the obstacles faced by teachers and approaches to addressing different hurdles in the implementation of distance learning. This study collected data from mathematics and science teachers spread in junior and senior high schools in Aceh Province, Indonesia. Data were collected through a questionnaire from 353 teachers and interview from 6 teachers to get in-depth information related to the focus of this study. The results of the study revealed that teachers could not directly utilize various Information and Communication Technology (ICT) devices and online learning platforms that are widely available in supporting distance implementation, either due to the ability of teachers, parents' economic factors, limited internet access, and the absence of guidance. However, over time, the teacher can independently adapt to environmental conditions and the characteristics of students in carrying out distance learning.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis korelasi antara kewarganegaraan lingkungan dengan perilaku lingkungan siswa di Sekolah Adiwiyata di Kota Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Studi ini dilakukan di sekolah Madrasah Aliyah Darul Ulum dan Madrasah Aliyah Babun Najah Kota Banda Aceh dengan jumlah sampel penelitian 82 orang siswa dari 2 sekolah yang menjadi tempat penelitian. Data dikumpulkan dari 82 orang siswa di sekolah Darul Ulum dan Babun Najah dengan menggunakan kuesioner kewarganegaraan lingkungan dan perilaku lingkungan. Data kuantitatifa dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan korelasi Pearson dengan bantuan program aplikasi SPSS versi 22 untuk Windows. Analisis statistik deskriptif penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 61 (74,4) Baik, 11 (13,4 %) sangat baik dan 10 (12, 2 %) cukup. Selanjutnya data di analisis korelasi mendapatkan hasil terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kewarganegaraan lingkungan terhadap perilaku lingkungan siswa. Hal ini di buktikan dengan hasil dari analisis korelasi Pearson dengan aplikasi SPSS dengan nilai sebesar 0,438 > r tabel 0,217, sehingga dapat disimpulkan adanya korelasi antara variabel kewarganegaraan lingkungan dengan variabel perilaku lingkungan. Hasil temuan ini sangat berkaitan dengan kurikulum dan proses pembelajaran yang diajarkan di masing-masing sekolah. Setiap guru di sekolah harus mengintegrasikan setiap mata pelajaran di sekolah yang berwawasan lingkungan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran dan perilaku dalam menjaga lingkungan.Kata Kunci : Kewarganegaraan Lingkungan, Perilaku Lingkungan, Sekolah Adiwiyata
This paper aims to analyze disaster education in schools in disaster-prone areas, focusing on the resulting policies, supporting programs, and challenges in implementing disaster education in schools. The literature review in this paper is carried out systematically and analyzes the content as a methodology in investigating policies, programs, and challenges in implementing disaster education in disaster-prone schools in the Scopus database. The results of the analysis of the literature review highlight several important points related to disaster education in disaster-prone schools, namely (1) In supporting increased understanding of environmental management and resilience in dealing with disasters in disaster-prone areas, governments in various countries make policies by including environmental content in school materials and policies for environmental conservation. (2) School cooperation with the community and government institutions related to the environment becomes a program in increasing understanding of environmental management and disaster resilience. (3) The literature review also reveals that the material’s content, the approach/learning model used, and the teacher’s ability to understand the environment are challenges for implementing disaster education in disaster-prone schools. The problems in the discussion of this literature review are usable as implications for further research considerations. The findings show that disaster education in disaster-prone schools can effectively increase environmental understanding and resilience if existing policies, programs, and challenges are implemented optimally.
The purpose of research it is To find out how the process of utilization of the laboratory in the eyes of subjects Civics by students SMA Laboratory Unsyiah, To determine whether the use of the laboratory in the eyes of subjects PPKn will increase awareness neighborhood social students and To know is there any factor inhibiting the use of the laboratory in the eyes of subjects PPKn . This study uses a qualitative approach to the type of descriptive research. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The selection of a qualitative approach is in accordance with what you want to achieve in this study. Mechanical analysis of the data in the study of qualitative which consists of a reduction of data, presentation of data and draw conclusions. Results of the study showed that (1) The process of utilization of laboratory carried out by conformity with the contents of KD or materials of learning that relate to the laboratory, (2) With the use of laboratory showed that students have a sense of the level of concern for the environment social were quite good, and (3) Constraints are encountered in the use of laboratories there are four names, in the form of time, cost, transportation and permit. Then expected to the school in order to overcome the obstacles were encountered in the use of the laboratory, and the teacher's eyes lessons PPKn in order to more improve further the effectiveness of the use of the laboratory so that students be well again in concern about the environment social. Teachers and school principals should carry out contextual-based learning processes to improve students' social care in the community.
