This study aims to investigate the impact of Tri Hita Karana culture toward entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation of SMEs of silver craft in Bali. The population of this research is all small and medium size enterprises of silver craft in Bali. By using purposive random sampling, 110 small and medium size enterprises located in four regencies in Bali were selected as samples. The data collection technique was distributing questionnaires. Furthermore, to test the inter-variabels influence, inferential analysis of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is applied using Partial Least Square (PLS) approach. The findings of this research are Tri Hita Karana culture could improve the entrepreneurial orientation and market orientation. It was also found that the entrepreneurial orientation influence the market orientation.
Human resource management (HRM) is one of the elements enabling an organization to remain competitive in turbulence conditions. The effective practice of HRM makes competent and innovative employees contributing to the achievement of organizational objectives. This study aims to analyze HRM practices in creating innovation and organizational performance. The questionnaire was used to measure the respondents’ perceptions of variables used by a Likert scale. A survey of 126 manager samples and middle managers at export-oriented short and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Bali, Indonesia, was conducted to test the model. The analysis has shown that the proposed model was proven to be compliant with the research hypotheses. HRM significantly affects organizational performance and innovation, and it was found out that innovation can improve organizational performance. However, in the process of simultaneous testing, it was found out that innovation cannot improve organizational performance. The lack of attention to investments in human resources became one of the barriers to SMEs in creating innovation.
This study aims to analyze: (1) influence of organizational support to employee performance, (2) influence of organizational support to organizational commitment and (3) influence organizational commitment to employee performance. A total of 77 employees of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Denpasar is used as a sample with sampling technique that is saturated sampling. The data obtained were analyzed by descriptive analysis and SEM-PLS. The result of this study found that organizational support had positive and significant effect on employee performance, with coefficient value was 0,389 and t statistics value was 4,086 (> t critical 1,96). The effect of organizational support on organizational commitment resulted in coefficient value of 0.634 and t statistics of 9.091 (> t critical 1.96) which means significant. Furthermore, organizational commitment also has a significant positive effect on employee performance, with coefficient value of 0.363 and t statistics value of 4.635 (> t critical 1.96). This study proves that employees who get support from the organization proved able to increase organizational commitment to work which implies to the better performance displayed by employees of the Department of Population and Civil Registration of Denpasar.
