Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia are contributors to national economic growth. In East Java itself, the number of MSMEs is relatively large. However, there are still many obstacles in its development, such as the ineffective partnership pattern, and the development is not as expected. Therefore, this study aims to determine the implementation of the partnership model between MSME entrepreneurs with medium and large scale businesses that have been running so far, the involvement of local governments in implementing the partnership model, obstacles encountered in implementing the partnership model, as well as how to develop the MSME partnership model with medium and large scale business. The method used in this study is a mix method (qualitative and quantitative). The results showed that the implementation of the partnership model between MSME entrepreneurs with medium and large scale businesses so far has been enhanced by involving companies through the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. Local government involvement is also through regulations with the concept of partnership of MSME entrepreneurs with medium and large companies. Obstacles faced including coordination between stakeholders is still not optimal. By increasing MSME partnerships with medium and large businesses it is expected to overcome existing obstacles such as limited resources.

For the poor, subsidized health insurance does not fully meet the needs at the time of illness. In a sick condition, let alone be hospitalized, help from the environment around the family becomes important. They struggle to free themselves from illness, so as not to worsen poverty. Through ethnographic research using illness narrative, the results show that the aid proved to be a burden for the community. The aid which is social capital becomes social debt for poor families. This conclusion resulted from the findings of poor families treated in the Sampang and Bantul' public hospitals. Although different ethnic backgrounds differ (Java and Madura), the poor continue to take this into account as social debt.
The COVID-19 pandemic has actually forced people to work at home. Office activities outside the home can result in the transmission of COVID-19 to its workers. The government has taken a decision to minimize employee attendance at the office. Employees are encouraged to work at home (WFH), especially in groups vulnerable to infection. The house is turned into an “office space.” With the internet network, these employees are connected to each other. Although factually, this pattern is not a new thing because it has been carried out since the 2000s and is now becoming increasingly intensive. Through qualitative research with an ethnomethodological perspective, the results show that with this pattern, the house has become an encounter between public space and domestic space. This requires a strategy to manage roles in the home. Through in-depth observations and interviews, there were several important findings. First, there is a struggle for space in the house. Second, there is a transfer of stress from work to home. Third, there is a renegotiation of roles in the house, so as not to disturb family harmony. No less important, the community of users of social media and virtual meetings builds constructions of public and domestic space and time. The division of space and time in virtual space is also related to a person's role and social status when in the real world of work.
