This study aims to analyze the correlation of students' perceptions of e-module toward students' basic science process skills. The subject of the study were second semester students of Department of Physics Education in Universitas Jambi. This research used a mixed-method research with data collection instruments consisting of student perception questionnaire, observation sheet of students' science process skills, and also interviews. From the results of data analysis, students' perceptions were in the good category with an average of 74.95, and the basic science process skills of students were also in the good category with an average of 69.08. Based on the correlation test conducted there is a significant relationship between the level of student perception of e-module with students’ basic science process skills using Pearson correlation values 0,927, and Sig. (2-tailed) 0.00 at a significance of 1%.
Tujuan penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi kegemaran membaca, sikap terhadap IPA, dan bagaimana pengaruh kegemaran membaca (X) terhadap sikap terhadap IPA (Y) di sekolah menengah pertama. Metodologi: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan analisis regresi linier sederhana dan desain penelitian deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket kegemaran membaca menggunakan 4 indikator antara lain preferensi membaca saintifik, efek positif membaca terhadap kemampuan, sikap umum terhadap membaca, dan pandangan negatif terhadap membaca. Sedangkan angket sikap terhadap IPA menggunakan 7 indikator antara lain implikasi sosial IPA, normalitas ilmuwan, sikap terhadap penyelidikan dalam IPA, adopsi sikap ilmiah, kesenangan dalam belajar IPA, ketertarikan memperbanyak waktu belajar IPA, dan ketertarikan berkarir dalam bidang IPA. Temuan utama: Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan kegemaran membaca kelas 7 berada pada kategori baik, sikap terhadap IPA berada pada kategori netral dan pengaruh kegemaran membaca terhadap sikap adalah lemah negatif. Keterbaruan penelitian: Keterbaruan dalam penelitian ini adalah memodifikasi model pembelajran problem solving pada sistem sosial.
This study was conducted to determine the reading pleasure of junior high school (sekolah menengah pertama or SMP) students through 4 indicators. The research was conducted with a total sample of 281 students from grades VII, VIII, and IX in junior high schools. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The research design used is an explanatory design. The quantitative instrument in the form of a reading pleasure instrument consists of 40 statements, while the qualitative instrument is in the form of interviews with 10 students, 4 teachers, and 2 of the head of the library. The data collection technique was carried out by survey (field research). The results of this study indicate that the indicators of general attitudes towards reading are on a neutral scale, the indicators of reading preferences are on a neutral scale, the indicators of the effects of reading on ability are on the agreeing scale, the indicators of students' negative views on reading are on the disagree scale. The results of interviews with the teacher can be seen that the teacher has reminded students to always read books other than in face-to-face activities in class, then the results of interviews with the head of the library can be seen that junior high school students have high enthusiasm for reading and borrowing books in the library, the results of interviews with male student and female student show that female student have better reading pleasure than male.
Physics is a science that requires experimental activities to prove its truth. In the proof, it is carried out systematically and disciplined. This skill is called a science process skill. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using e-modules in the course of practicum and determine the level of science process skills of students. Subjects in this study were semester 2 students of Physics Education at the University of Jambi. The data collection instruments used were observation sheets that had been validated before. Data collection is assisted by observers who observe each student and then the data is processed using statistical analysis. From the results of data analysis, it was found that there was an influence of e-modules in the implementation of practicum and the average science skills of students were in the very good category. AbstrakFisika merupakan ilmu pengetahuan yang membutuhkan kegiatan eksperimen untuk membuktikan kebenarannya. Dalam pembuktiannya dilakukan dengan sistematis, disiplin, dan jujur. Keterampilan ini disebut sebagai keterampilan proses sains. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan e-modul dalam berjalannya praktikum dan mengetahui tingkat keterampilan proses sains mahasiswa. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 2 Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Jambi. Adapun instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi yang telah divalidasi sebelumnya. Pengumpulan data dibantu oleh observer yang mengamati tiap mahasiswa kemudian data diolah dengan menggunakan analisis statistik. Dari hasil analisis data diperoleh bahwa emodul memberi pengaruh dalam pelaksanaan praktikum Fisika Dasar II. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari rata-rata keterampilan sains mahasiswa berada di kategori SB (sangat baik).
Physics education students as prospective educators have the task of building student knowledge. This requires physics education students to master SPS because most physics lessons emphasize activity-centered material. The research conducted aims to analyze the level of mastery of SPS in the Melde practicum in terms of gender. This research involves practical activities by applying a problem-based learning model (PBL). This study uses total sampling with participants being first year physics education students class 2019/2020 consisting of 19 male students and 76 female students at Jambi University with sampling technique used is total sampling. The analytical technique used in this study is descriptive statistics with data collection assisted by observation sheets aimed at measuring students' SPS. The results showed that female students had better SPS than male students as indicated by the average score. <p>Penelitian ini menggunakan metode asosiatif kuantitafi. Tujuan diadakan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat kreativitas siswa terhadap hasil belajar fisika materi GLB dan GLBB. Subyek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA-3 dan XI MIA-1 yang totalnya berjumlah 47 siswa. Data diperoleh dengan menyebarkan angket dan soal. Hasil uji Pearson Product Moment menunjukkan nilai pearson yang diperoleh sebesar 0,980 yang dikategorikan memiliki hubungan yang kuat. Uji linearitas juga menunjukkan bahwa antara tingkat kreativitas dan hasil belajar memiliki hubungan yang linier ditunjukkan dari nilai Sig. Devitation from Linearity diperoleh 0,274 > 0,05.</p>
