The development of multimedia based on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to empower students critical thinking skills has not been optimally carried out. The purpose of this research was to develop multimedia of human anatomy and physiology material based on STEM which improve students' critical thinking skills. This research and development (R&D) used 4D Thiagarajan development model which consisted of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instruments used were interview guidelines, observation sheets, questionnaires, and test. The data obtained consisted of quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data was obtained from the test results and the assessments of respondents using a Likert scale, while the qualitative data in the form of experts recommendations. The results showed that the media developed were classified as valid with the scores were 96.89% (media aspects), 97.53% (usefulness), and 85.22% (readability). Furthermore, the prerequisite test results showed that the data are spread normally (p>0.05) and homogeneously (p>0.05) so that the ANACOVA test is continued. The ANACOVA test results showed that students' critical thinking skills taught with multimedia were significantly difference (sig <0.05).This study recommends the use of multimedia in learning human anatomy and physiology.
Rendahnya pemanfaatan multimedia berbasis model pembelajaran STEM untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran anatomi fisiologi manusia di Program Studi Pendidikan Biologi IKIP Budi Utomo. Tujuan penelitian adalah meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa melalui multimedia-STEM education. Metode penelian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah transkrip wawancara, lembar observasi, dan test. Teknik analisis data penelitian dengan menggunakan kriteria ketuntasan klasikal dan gain score (N-gain). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat meningkat melalui multimedia-STEM education dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 90,48% (P>85%) dan N-gain sebesar 0,501 pada kriteria sedang. Keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat meningkat karena langkah-langkah model pembelajaran STEM yang terintegrasi dalam multimedia dapat memberdayakan keterampilan berpikir kritis. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis dapat meningkat melalui multimedia-STEM education.
This study aims to provide an overview of the persuasiveness of flipbooks and education in the COVID 19 pandemic, an Omicron variant of the sports physiology course. The study is a descriptive quantitative study that evaluates educational flipbooks in a course of exercise physiology. The subjects of the study are the second semester of the 2020 class students who are taught in the exercise physiology course using virtual flipbooks. The study sample is the second semester of 2020 undergraduates whose location was selected using a simple random sampling technique, taking into account population uniformity. I will go to collect musical instruments in the flip book learning questionnaire. Engagement analysis used descriptive statistics. Consequence showed so students assessed that learning sports physiology apply flipbooks was effective (23.3%), rated it as productive (46.7%), along time placed average (20%). Handful students think about online education flipbooks failed (10%) and totally none (0%) who rate it very inefficient. Finally, to better the quality of flipbook learning in sports physiology in the course of the omicron variant of covid19 pandemic, schoolteacher must realize suggestions from respondents, namely: (1) studying is execute through video calls; (2) equipping of concise study materials; (3) minimizing dispatch material in the form of heavy videos to save quota with flipbook application; (4) the selection material flipbook on the criteria of language easy to understand; (5) continue lay out material before assignment; (6) display varied and contrasting questions for each student; (7) occupation include how it works; (8) assign occupation according course schedule; (9) prompt students an occupation given, with (10) reduce the task. <p>The development of rapid information technology makes learners freed in obtaining teaching materials. One of them is a web-based teaching materials. The purpose of the research is to produce a web-based teaching materials on the subjects of Environmental Sciences to enhance student motivation Budi Utomo Malang Teachers' Training College. Development of teaching materials based website using ADDIE models. Development research was conducted from April to December 2015. Based on the results of validation material obtained from the value of 80% and the media expert validation and design to get the value of 93.75% and 83.33%, it means that the teaching materials developed have been fit for use as an ingredient supporting<br />teaching Environmental Science course, but still be revised on the advice and comments from experts as well as students. Web-based teaching materials have been developed and tested on students can create and enhance motivation sebesar 85,75.%.</p>
The importance of information regarding the learning process is to be able to identify the main problems and provide the right solutions according to the predetermined graduate competency standards. This study aims to provide solutions to learning problems in the form of appropriate teaching materials in terms of users and the curriculum. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research through a survey with a research sample of 32.5% of the population or 26 students. The instruments used were questionnaires and interview transcripts. Data analysis was carried out with a student questionnaire, the percentage was calculated and will be explained while the interview transcripts were analyzed descriptively, 57.1% of students need teaching materials, 52.4% need teaching materials with specific learning approaches and models. The results showed that it is necessary to make improvements in the aspects of the learning model, mastery of 21st-century knowledge and skills, and the learning media used. Therefore, teaching materials are needed that include learning activities characterized by learning approaches or models, conceptual descriptions according to content standards, and evaluations that can develop higher-order thinking skills.Keywords: Higher education, human anatomy physiology, multimedia learning, SETS
