This study aims to determine the ability of algebra students who have 3 levels van Hiele levels. Follow its framework Dindyal framework (2007). Students are required to do 10 algebra shaped multiple choice, then students work 15 about the geometry of the van Hiele level in the form of multiple choice questions. The question has been tested levels of validity and reliability. After learning abilities and levels van Hiele algebra, students were asked to answer two questions descriptions to determine the ability of students in answering the question of algebraic geometry punctuated by interviews. From this study illustrated that students who have achieved level 3 van Hiele able to properly solve problems of algebraic geometry in the content by utilizing the deduction reasoning thinking skills to build the structure geometry in an axiomatic system in solving the problems faced. Teachers play an important role in pushing the speed students through a higher level of thinking through the right exercises. Suggestions for further research can develop on different topics but still within the context of algebraic geometry.
This research aims to create an e-comic mathematics based on Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics – Caring Community (STEAM-CC) concept as well as to know its effect on the students’ creative thinking ability. Creative thinking is heavily influenced by approaching the students’ during the teaching and learning process. Moreover, it can be done through conducting small group students as a medium to collaborate, learn, and care each other along Caring Community (CC) in Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC). This study was used mixed method, 4D development method by Thiagarajan and experimental researcch. The result of this study showed that the developed e-comic was valid according to the material and media experts, while STEAM-CC concept was effective and practical way by looking at the students were able to achieve the standard minimun score on the test and observation. This research also found that the media can effect the studens’ creative thinking ability.
The provision of jumping tasks (JT) is an effort to improve students' problem-solving abilities. Descriptive qualitative research was conducted to describe and analyze students' ability to solve mathematical problems, both in the field-dependent cognitive style (FD) and independent field (FI). JT is a high-level question, C4-C6, in Bloom's taxonomy on the Three Variable Linear Equation System topic. The subjects in this study were students of class X MIPA 1 of SMA Negeri 4 Jember with 30 students consisting of 5 FD students and 25 FI students. The data collection method uses tests (JT questions) and interviews. The results showed the differences in FD and FI subjects' ability in the stages of carrying out the plan of completion and re-checking, i.e., the FI subject had better solving ability than the FD subject in the stage of planning the completion and re-checking. In contrast, at the other Polya stages, there were no differences.

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to describe the process and results of the development of learning media for high school students of Class XI regional integral material assisted by GeoGebra software. This type of research is the research on the development and use of the Thiagarajan model. The trial was conducted on 31 students of class XI at SMAN 1 Jember. The results of this study indicate a correlation coefficient of 0.91 with a valid category is asked "very high" by using validity test, practicality test shows a percentage of 92.64% which means the category "very good" with the use of questionnaires, student responses, and effective tests the results of 80.65% or 25 out of 31 students get scores according to the KKM in the category "Good". Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that The Development of Online Interactive Mathematics Learning Media ClassFlow Assisted by GeoGebra Software on Area Integral that meets the requirements, valid and practical and can be used for use in mathematics learning
