TQM is one of the essential factors in organizational activities. This research aims to determine how TQM elements and organizational culture can lead to operational performance in a mineral water manufacturer in Pasuruan, East Java, Indonesia. Aside from that, researchers also measure how TQM elements, organizational culture, and operational performance can affect corporate performance. The respondents are 50 people from staff, suppliers, and consumers of the manufacturer. The method used in this research is a quantitative method that uses path analysis. The results showed that there is a significant impact between soft TQM elements towards operational performance. The results also showed a significant effect between hard TQM elements, organizational culture, and operational performance towards corporate performance. This research differs from other studies because the model analysis correlates organizational culture with TQM elements in a mineral water company.
The purpose of this research is to (1) identify project corporate entrepreneurship with the application of lean canvas; (2) identify constraints in the application of lean canvas in corporate entrepreneurship projects; (3) identify the benefits contained in the application of lean canvas in corporate entrepreneurship projects. Data is collected from October 2018 to December 2018. The method used is descriptive research method with qualitative approach. The researcher conducted interviews with 5 informants. The analysis tools used are lean start up and lean canvas. The data analysis techniques used is Creswell data analysis techniques (2014). The results of this study are (1) project corporate entrepreneurship can be implemented in nine lean canvas blocks and can easily see the concept of optimization model and linkages between nine blocks in lean canvas; (2) the most difficult constraints experienced are when filling key metric blocks and unfair advantages in the lean canvas; (3) the researcher can easily analyze project corporate entrepreneurship in determining future strategies in order to find out which projects are effective or not to be continued or developed based on the achievement measured in the key metric blocks in one of the lean canvas blocks and the integration of nine blocks in lean canvas.
This research aims to analyze the effect of supply chain organizational and supply agility on the performance of supply chain performance through the mediation role of the supply chain strategy in the retail industry. Retail business design creates novelty, it is very important for manufacturers to stay focused on producing goods. The presence of a retail shop will make it easier for consumers to get the goods and services they want. The research sample includes 180 companies or respondents. The results indicate that the supply chain strategy had no significant effect on the supply chain operational performance, while the other hypotheses were stated to be significant, and the supply chain strategy as a mediator had a positive and significant effect on the supply chain operations performance of retail shops. The research includes discovering that supply chain strategy bridges organizational supply chains and supplier agility performance in retail outlets. The research will directly contribute to the growing literature on innovation in supply chain management implementation of retail shops in Indonesia and other countries.
In addition to increasingly fierce global competition, the company is also faced with existing products that have entered the declining phase, newsprint and HVS Recycled paper so that the company must create new branding, new marketing for packaging paper and implement new strategies so that the company's revenue does not decline, but can be improved, both in terms of revenue and profit, and reduce operating costs. The analysis is carried out on each element of the Business Model Canvas, namely Customer Segments, Channels, Customer Relationships, Value Propositions, Revenue Streams, Key Resources, Key Activities, Key Partnerships, and Cost Structure. In the manufacturing industry, the hardest challenge is at the back stage, where companies are required to operate excellence in order to achieve cost efficiency and increase company profits. This research was conducted for six months starting from Januari 2021 to June 2021. In this study, the informant were 5 employees, consisting of 1 General Manager and 4 managers (production manager, purchasing manager, marketing manager and QC manager ). The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis (Creswell,2014). Data testing in this study was carried out using the data triangulation method. This research was conducted at PT. Adiprima Suraprinta which is engaged in paper manufacturing with the aim of creating new strategies that are useful for business sustainability through Business Model Canvas (BMC) evaluation can be applied immediately. This study aims to determine the factors that shape consumer satisfaction that focuses on retailed building materials. In this study, the case raised is based on retail business UD Semeru (UDS) in Surabaya. There are 27 variables used as factors that are assumed to form consumer satisfaction. The results of this study will be used by UDS to develop a strategic framework that shapes the success of UDS. This research will be based on quantitative research, and uses 71 people as samples. The analytical method that is used is exploratory factor analysis (EFA) by interpreting the data in SPSS application. The results of this study show that tangible factors are the main factor that forms UDS’s customer satisfaction, and the intangible factors show a supporting factor that forms UDS customer satisfaction.
The Covid-19 pandemic has had a major impact on K-12 schools. Therefore it is very important to examine the factors that shape parents’ decisions in choosing K-12 education for their children so that schools can meet parents’ expectations. As a result, student enrolment in K-12 schools can be increased. This study aims to determine the factors that shape parents’ decisions in choosing kindergarten, elementary, junior high, and high school (K-12) education levels for their children in the new normal era. The object of research is the Citra Blessing School in Surabaya. The method used is a quantitative research method. Data collection in this study using questionnaire research. The population is 1,142 parents from K-12. Sampling using a random sampling technique. 797 parents were used as the sample. The analytical method used is exploratory factor analysis (EFA) with the help of the SPSS application. As a result, there is 1 factor that is not appropriate from the 27 initial factors, so 26 factors are used as a factor for parents’ decision-making in choosing K-12 education. These 26 factors form 4 new factors, namely 1. Service and Ambience Excellence; 2. Student Competence; 3. Learning Management System, and 4. School Reputation. This finding becomes a reference for improving the performance of K-12 in Surabaya. In particular, so that the quality of education, the quality of alumni, student admissions, and student enrolment can be improved. It is in order to maintain the continuity of schools, especially K12 schools in the New Normal period. It is a reference for K-12 students to use flip classrooms or blended learning as learning methods during the teaching and learning process. In addition, it motivates K-12 to take part in competitions, thereby increasing the school’s academic achievement.
