Este artigo apresenta o resultado de um experimento pratico do Pensamento Computacional aplicado em uma Escola Municipal do Ensino Fundamental I. Exercitar nos alunos a capacidade de resolver problemas, exercer protagonismo e autoria na vida pessoal e coletiva foram fatores que motivaram a pesquisa, a qual teve como objetivos adicionais, sondar o grau de interesse dos alunos na proposta e analisar a capacidade de resolução dos problemas apresentados. Como critérios para avaliação, utilizou-se o desempenho na execução das atividades, as possíveis alterações de comportamento e o engajamento dos alunos com a proposta. Os resultados demonstram o interesse por parte dos alunos e a pertinência das atividades na faixa etária proposta.
Este estudo apresenta um levantamento das iniciativas que promovem o Pensamento Computacional no Ensino Fundamental, com o objetivo de compreender as abordagens, recursos e ferramentas utilizadas. Pretende ainda investigar em que nível do Ensino Fundamental as iniciativas acontecem, subdividindo-as nos níveis 1 e 2 para uma análise mais aprofundada das práticas realizadas nos anos iniciais, por entender que nesta fase se formam importantes bases para aquisições de habilidades futuras. Como resultado, percebe-se que o volume de trabalhos relacionados ao PC tem mostrado tendência de crescimento ao longo dos últimos anos, o que reforça a necessidade de se investir em ações nos anos iniciais.
Este estudo apresenta um levantamento das iniciativas que promovem o Pensamento Computacional de maneira desplugada - sem o uso de artefatos tecnológicos e/ou digitais - no Ensino Fundamental 1. Traz um panorama geral dos estudos, aborda os diferentes tipos de atividades utilizadas, analisa os processos avaliativos pelos quais são submetidos, seus principais objetivos, a motivação dos pesquisadores por essa opção de abordagem, a duração das iniciativas e se estão apoiadas em alguma teoria de aprendizagem.
