Organization need to develop its human resources in a way that can build the high level of organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). Job satisfaction and organizational commitment can became an important factor which affecting OCB. The aim of this study is to identify the mediating role of organizational commitment in the relationship between job satisfaction and OCB. The samples were derived from a survey using 39 items questionnaire distributed to the 320 employees of a state-owned banking in Bandung, Indonesia. All respondents hold positions in marketing and small business market. The bootstrap confidence interval used to measure the mediation. The result revealed that there was a direct and indirect effect in the relation between job satisfaction and OCB. Since the interval did not contain zero in the equation, then the research found these relations was mediated by organizational commitment. Organizational commitment indeed contributes as mediator in the effect of job satisfaction on OCB.
This research aims to determine the direct and indirect effects of digital literacy, economic literacy, and entrepreneurial skills on the performance of small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in garment clusters in the Bulak tourism industry Depok. Carrying out quantitative research with survey methods, data collection is using a questionnaire technique with 90 respondents, via saturation sampling. This research data analysis uses SPSS software version 25.0. Path analysis is used to determine the direct and indirect effects between variables. The results showed digital literacy, economic literacy, and entrepreneurial skills significantly and positively affect the performance of small-and medium-sized enterprises. The main finding in this study is that digital literacy has the greatest influence on the performance of SME entrepreneurs, both directly and indirectly. The results of the study provide input on performance development strategies for SME entrepreneurs through digital literacy, including digital business relationships, online facilities, and networks. The findings are also complementary to the factors shaping the performance of SME entrepreneurs in the digital age. The research results show that digital literacy has the greatest direct and indirect influence on the performance of SME entrepreneurs; this shows the essential contribution of digital literacy in developing business and marketing networks.
The present study investigate the relation of organization culture and employee performance and the mediation role of organizational commitment. The research conducted in a local public company who served clean water to the society. Non-probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique was used to gather 260 employees to participate in this study. Descriptive and verificative method were used to analyze the relation between variables through hypothesis testing. The study found that organizational culture has significant effect on employee performance. Meanwhile organizational commitment proved to be a mediator in the relation. Organization should develop strong culture and commitment in order to enhance employee performance.
Problems of organizational citizenship behavior among academics, especially lecturers, are something relevant in the study of the quality of an organization. The purpose of this study is to analyze the increase in organizational citizenship behavior based on Islamic work ethics, organizational satisfaction and commitment. By collecting data from 365 lecturers from 14 private universities as sample in the city of Bandung, the sampling was taken with proportional random sampling techniques. Data analysis techniques were conducted by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS. The results of this study revealed the positive effect of Islamic work ethics on organizational citizenship behavior and on organizational commitment, positive but not significant effect of Islamic work ethics on job satisfaction. Islamic work ethic has a positive effect on organizational commitment. Moreover, the findings showed that job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior. However, job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect on organizational commitment. In practice, this study encourages private university management to improve work ethics and job satisfaction of lecturers, which in turn can influence organizational citizenship behavior and organizational commitment of lecturers.Extra performance behavior or better known as organizational citizenship behavior is a series of work that is voluntarily performed by an employee in an organization where the employee's behavior exceeds the basic work requirements that have been determined or exceeds the work standards set in the organization (Carmeli & Josman, 2006). This study aims to analyze the competence of vocational school teachers needed in Industry 4.0 based on the opinions of policymakers using a quantitative method (13 education policymakers). Identifying the priority competencies of vocational school teachers is an important issue because low teacher competence is a problem for vocational education in Indonesia. The results of the study indicated the priority of pedagogical competence, social competence, personality competence, and professional competence of vocational teachers. Vocational teacher pedagogic competencies that are very much needed are the ability to actualize potential as part of student development, the ability to understand students in-depth, and the ability to understand the character of students in physical, social, cultural, emotional, and intellectual aspects. In addition, vocational school teachers are expected to have the ability to design and evaluate learning. The needed social competencies for vocational school teachers are the ability to communicate efficiently, emphatically, and respectfully both oral and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate and improve themselves using ICT.
Kemunculan sebuah organisasi usaha baru disebabkan oleh faktor sumber daya manusia dan keputusan untuk berwirausaha ditentukan oleh faktor lingkungan yang mempengaruhi seseorang untuk menjadi wirausaha. Minat peserta didik untuk berwirausaha masih rendah sehingga masih perlu penelitian yang lebih lanjut guna meningkatkan minat peserta didik khususnya di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) untuk dapat menjadi wirausaha. Hal tesebut diperlukan guna untuk meningkatkan jumlah wirausaha sebagai salah satu penentu perkembangan suatu daerah maupun Negara. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lingkungan keluarga dengan minat berwirausaha peserta didik SMK di Kabupaten Subang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu survey dimana teknik pengolahan dan analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan observasi langsung. Lingkungan keluarga dalam penelitian ini memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap minat berwirausaha peserta didik SMK di Kabupaten Subang dengan skor 0.000-0.043. Penelitian ini memiliki reliabilitas yang tinggi dengan skor mencapai 0.703. Kata Kunci: Minat Berwirausaha, Lingkungan Keluarga, Pesert didik SMK A. LATAR BELAKANG PEELITIAN Berdasarkan data Global Enterpreneur Indeks (GEI) tahun 2015 Negara yang maju baik dari sektor ekonomi dan industri ditunjukkan dengan indeks pertumbuhan entrepreneurship, sedangkan menurut data dari GEI Indonesia menempati posisi 120 dari 130 dengan skor 21,0 menempati posisi 10 terendah sehingga perlu kesadaran penduduk Indonesia untuk dapat memiliki jiwa wirausaha dan melahirkan usaha baru (Mandiri, Dan, Lestari, Hasiolan, & Minarsih, 2016). Jumlah lulusan dari berbagai bidang ilmu dari tahun ke tahun semakin bertambah, di satu sisi kondisi ini tidak diimbangi dengan jumlah penyerapan tenaga kerja baik di dunia industri maupun di pemerintahan, sehingga menyebabkan jumlah angka pengangguran tinggi (Kusumawati, 2016). Urutan kewirausahaan Indonesia berdasarkan data yang diperoleh dari Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) Tahun 2015-1016 Indonesia masih rendah jika dibandingkan dengan Negara lain khususnya diantara anggota ASIA lainnya.
