The educational implementation is a learning process at all levels, students are required to follow certain lectures, including mathematics courses. Learning difficulties are a barrier to learning where children are not well educated, due to disturbances, both from student factors and external factors. learning, thus students are expected to catch up because of these obstacles. This research is classified into qualitative descriptive research that seeks to describe the analysis of student learning difficulties in statistical subjects. The subjects in this study were the fourth-semester students of 2018/2019 Mulawarman University. Research reveals things that are considered as a barrier factor for students in Statistics. In this study, the researcher collected information through documentation, tests, and interviews with students. The results of the analysis show that the difficulties of students in studying Statistics basically lie in the weakness of the concept. The results of the research conducted by the researcher were the existence of errors in process skills, errors in understanding questions, and errors in using notation. The solution to overcoming these problems is: for the eye teacher of Statistics to be able to develop learning strategies so that students can be more honed in their thinking skills and provide continuous problem training to students.
Pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan kepada guru SD untuk Mengajarkan Konsep Luas Bidang Datar dengan menggunakan MEQIP (Mathematic eduation quality Improvement) di SD Samarinda Kota. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini adalah “Pelatihan”. Adapun kegiatan yang dilaksanakan adalah: Persiapan, Pelaksanaan, dan Evaluasi. Keberhasilan kegiatan pelatihan ini akan dievaluasi melalui proses yang dilihat dari aktivitas peserta mengkuti kegiatan pelatihan. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah para guru SD Se-Kota Samarinda yang direncanakan dan di undang berjumlah 43 orang. Pelaksanan kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk penyampaian materi dan presentasi hasil pelatihan. Materi yang diberikan terdiri dari 5 materi, yaitu Sumber dan media pembelajaran serrta pentingnya alat peraga dalam pembelajaran matematika di SD, Pengenalan MEQIP. Peragaan penggunaan alat peraga luas segitiga, segiempat dan lingkaran. Dari hasil pelatihan guru-guru mampu memanfaatkan alat peraga yang tersedia di sekolah secara maksimal, dan mampu mengajarkan konsep-konsep matematika dengan benar sehingga siswa dapat mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dengan baik.
The study of the role of the principal's instructional leadership in the learning process is a critical factor in increasing the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to investigate the role of school principals' instructional leadership in increasing the effectiveness of learning in Samarinda Public Middle Schools, with a focus on how school principals formulate and communicate the vision, mission, and goals of the school, plan and coordinate curriculum, and carry out instructional supervision in increasing learning effectiveness. This study used a qualitative interview design involving eight participants: two teachers, three vice principals, two school committee members, and one school principal. Interview data were analyzed interactively and thematically. The results of this study indicate that the principal's strategy is to formulate the school's vision, mission, and goals together with teachers, school committees, and stakeholders. The active involvement of all stakeholders is one of the keys to realizing the school's vision and mission. The principal encourages teachers' creative efforts in learning so that learning constraints are in the classroom. Efforts to develop and improve teacher quality and transparent and objective evaluation are necessary, and evaluation is the final activity of management processes and actions. The obstacles faced were that teachers could not use interactive with students freely, the delivery of student character was partially not fulfilled, counselling guidance was not optimal, and extracurricular activities were not optimal. Efforts that have been made to overcome these obstacles are to maintain students' enthusiasm always to be active in learning, solicit learning feedback from students, and evaluate together.
Development of Final Examination applications based on computer for Mathematics subjects for grade X Accounting students at SMK Negeri 1 Samarinda even semester 2018/2019. Data collected by the method of observation, interviews, literature studies, documentation and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative analysis techniques and quantitative analysis. The results of this study are: 1) Development of Final Examination applications based on computer using the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 programming language, and for databases using Microsoft Access 2013 with features replacing answers, running time, and random number questions. 2) The feasibility test given to 2 media validation experts obtained a percentage value of 81.07% in the good category, for the results of the program testing questionnaire given to CBT experts 94.78% in the very good category, for the results of the program testing questionnaire given to 2 Math teachers got a percentage value of 84% with a very good category, and for the results of the questionnaire testing program given to 34 students obtained a percentage value of 84.67% in user testing with excellent category results, it can be concluded that the application of the Final Semester Examination based on computer is in accordance with its purpose which is to facilitate users both teachers and students as users in the implementation of Mathematics test exams in class X Accounting students in SMK.
Pengabdian Ini bertujuan “untuk meningkatkan keterampilah Guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling dalam pembuatan web Tingkat SMP/MT.s Se-Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu. Web merupakan alat komunikasi dengan menggunakan target seseorang untuk menyampaikan informasi kepada khalayak, dalam web ini seseorang dapat menyampaikan ide, pikiran atau gagasan untuk melakukan suatu rencana. Melalui Media web untuk Layan informasi Bimbingan dan Konseling sangat cocok untuk masyarakat yang luas dalam menyebarkan informasi. Sasaran kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat adalah para Guru Bimbingan dan Konseling jenjenag SMP/MT.s Se-Kecamatan Samarinda Ulu. Melalui kegiatan ini kami harapkan dapat: Memberikan kontribusi, kreatifitas, dan keterampilan yang besar sebagai pemahaman tentang pentingnya media dalam layanan informasi. Keberhasilan dari pelaksanaan program pengabdian masyarakat dapat dilihat dari: respons peserta workshop diukur melalui tahapan observasi selama pelatihan berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dapat disimpulkan yaitu Kegiatan ini mampu memberikan manfaat yang sangat besar dan tepat sasaran bagi peserta (guru) yang menjadi sasaran dalam kegiatan ini. Bentuk pelatihan seperti ini merupakan bentuk yang sangat efektif untuk memberikan penyegaran/meningkatkan keterampilan dan tambahan wawasan serta pengetahuan peserta khususnya di bidang teknologi informasi. Materi yang disajikan dapat diterima, dicerna, dan dipahami peserta dengan baik. Kegiatan berlangsung lancar, tepat waktu dan sesuai dengan yang diharapkan dan para peserta dapat berkomunikasi dengan para pembicara dan peserta lain dengan baik.
