This study examines the leadership style and supervision of principals in improving teacher performance in several public high schools in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province. This study uses a qualitative approach with a cross-sectional descriptive method. Observation and interview techniques were used to obtain data. The collected data were analyzed in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, as well as checking the validity of the data using observation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the principals' leadership style in improving teacher performance is a leadership style democratic and authoritarian. Authoritarian style is done through observation timeliness of attendance of teachers in schools and teaching time in the classroom. The democratic style is carried out by providing opportunities for teachers to attend training according to the needs of the school and the needs of teachers. The Teaching supervision program principal's oriented towards the guidance of teachers' tasks, such as preparing teaching programs and preparing learning tools. Obstacles in the supervision of principals are the low competence of most supervisors, activities outside the supervision schedule, and difficulty changing old habits.
This paper aims to examine the leadership model and planning strategy of private Catholic colleges during the COVID-19 pandemic in Samarinda City, East Kalimantan, Indonesia. This study adopted a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and documentation to collect data from 10 lecturers and seven staff as. The collected data were then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that the leadership model that often appears as a hallmark of private Catholic college leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic is a situational and distributed leadership model, with an emphasis on principles of leadership servant in dealing with changing organizational needs. The planning strategy carried out shows a visionary leadership model, college leaders can rearrange strategies that are adapted to the situation in developing educational programs and improving the quality of the college.
A principal’s supervision competency affects the improvement in the teaching and learning process; therefore, it needs to be improved. This study aimed to describe the principal working group (PWG) activities and the principal’s supervision competencies after being assisted by school supervisor in the PWG at Sangkuang Island, East Kutai Regency. This research used a qualitative method and was conducted at state elementary schools. Data collection used interview, observation and documentation techniques. The data were analysed using Miles and Huberman’s model. The results showed that the PWG activities were effective and the principals could exchange ideas and solutions to solve school problems. The school supervisor’s assistance in the PWG activities increased the principal’s supervision competencies. The principals were able to plan supervision programmes properly, conduct standard supervision and implement follow-up supervision according to the needs. This study implies that a school supervisor’s assistance is important to improve the principal’s supervision competence and this can be adopted at other area. Makalah ini membahas tentang penerapan penganggaran berbasis kinerja pada institusi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia. Kajian ini menggunakan metode pustaka dengan analisis narasi untuk memperdalam pengetahuan tentang penganggaran berbasis kinerja. Kesimpulan yang dapat ditarik dalam kajian ini adalah penerapan penganggaran berbasis kinerja memainkan peran penting dalam mewujudkan perguruan tinggi yang berkualitas. Untuk menerapkan penganggaran berbasis kinerja, perguruan tinggi harus mempertimbangkan kompetensi manajemen, komitmen organisasi, sistem penghargaan, dan kualitas perguruan tinggi. Makalah ini memberikan perspektif yang berbeda untuk memahami penerapan penganggaran berbasis kinerja dengan mengintegrasikan teori manajemen kelembagaan dan teori organisasi dalam menetapkan tujuan organisasi.

Pendampingan serta pelatihan sumber daya manusia BUMDes Desa Ciampea Udik dalam peningkatan kapasitas dan kemandirian usaha di era digital dengan memanfaatkan teknologi tepat guna serta pemanfaatn teknologi digital marketing. Sedangkan untuk luaran yang akan dicapai berupa jurnal terakreditasi.
This study aims to describe the implementation of the recruitment of educators to improve the quality of education in the Samarinda City Catholic Elementary School. A qualitative approach with a description method is used in this study. The data collection involved five key informants, namely the head of the foundation, staffing staff, school principals, and vice principals in the field of curriculum, and one supporting informant. Collecting research data using the method of observation, documentation, and interviews. The process of data analysis is carried out through the stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of recruitment is based on data analysis of teacher needs and standard operating procedures consisting of the delivery of recruitment information through teachers or employees and alumni, acceptance of applications, file selection, summoning applicants for interview tests, and announcements made transparently. The findings in this study have managerial implications. The implications of the management of the recruitment of educators on improving the quality of education are planning, implementation, and supervision activities that support each other in an effort to achieve goals. The mutually supportive relationship of the management function that has contributed to the achievement of goals is shown by the existence of step-by-step stages that become a common reference in an effort to get educators as expected
Indonesia is a developing country, therefore development programs continue to be encouraged in all fields because it is important for human survival in the world. To analyze the influence Policy Implementation has on the Effectiveness of South Tangerang City Regional Development Planning and that of Financial Management on the Effectiveness of Tangerang City Regional Development Planning South, this type of explanatory research is a strategy that is quite popular in mixed methods research and is often used by researchers who are inclined to quantitative processes and deemed suitable for this study. Regional development is not solely determined by the potential or wealth of abundant natural resources, but is also determined by systematic development planning, measurable, and comprehensive. Good financial management has been proven to be able to increase the effectiveness of regional development planning. The implementation of the financial management system begins with the formulation of the program and the determination of good performance indicators. It will be very useful to apply because it will serve as a benchmark in achieving the program objectives that have been set.
This study aims (1) to find out the effect of principal academic supervision on the quality of education of Vocational High School at Kutai Kartanegara Regency, (2) to find out the effect of principal policies on the quality of education of Vocational High School at Kutai Kartanegara Regency, (3) to find out the effect of academic supervision and policy, the principal simultaneously on the quality of Vocational High School at Kutai Kartanegara Regency. This research was conducted in Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The method used in the research was correlational method. The data collection technique used a questionnaire that had been tested for its' validity and reliability. Total population of 113 people with a sample of 88 people who were taken by disproportionate stratified random sampling. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics. The results showed that: (1) Academic supervision has an effect on the quality of education. This means that the higher academic supervision is, it will result in an increasing quality of education, (2) Principal's policy affects the quality of education. This means that the higher the principal's policy is, will result in an increase in the quality of education, (3) Academic supervision and the principal's policy simultaneously affect the quality of education. will result in an increasing quality of education.
