(S)-Isobutyraldehyd-cc-phenylathylimin, reagieren mit Benzoesaure und tert.-Butyl-isocyanid (3) unter Vierkomponenten-Kondensation zu einem Gemisch der Valin-Derivate 5a-8a. In verdunnter methanolischer Losung verlauft die Umsetzung unter uberwiegender Bildung von 6 a und 8a, wahrend in konzentrierter methanolischer und athanolischer Losung 5 a und 8 a als Hauptprodukte entstehen. Analog werden aus (R)bzw. @)-a-Phenylathylamin, (S)-2-Methyl-butanal [(l b)-(S)], Benzoesaure und tert.-Butyl-isocyanid die Isoleucin-und Alloisoleucin-Derivate 5 b-8 b erhalten.Durch Vierkoniponenten-Kondensationens), an denen unsymmetrisch su bstituierte Carbonyl-Verbindungen (R1 -CO -R2 mit R1 +R2) teilnehmen, werden neue Chiralitatszentrens) gebildet. Die bisherigen theoretischen Erkenntnisse der phosphororganischen Chemie erlauterte R . F. Hudson (Genf, Schweiz) in seiner Abhandlung iiber Probleme der chemischen Bindung in Phosphorverbindungen. Danach ist die Phosphorchernie im wesentlichen eine Chernie heteropolarer a-Bindungen. In1 Gegensatz ZLI analogen Stickstoffverbindungen kennt man beim Phosphor keine stabilen px-px-Bindungen. Die beim ungeladenen P-Atom diffusen d-Orbitale sind nicht zur Uberlappung mit PO-oder px-Orbitalen fshig. Erst die durch eine formale positive Ladung bewirkte Konzentration der 3d-Orbitale kann zu Uberlappungen AnlaD geben.
