Let χ(G) be a chromatic number of proper coloring on G. For an injection f : V (G) → {0, 2, . . . ; 2kυg } and f : E(G) → }1, 2, . . . , ke }, where k = max{ke , 2kχ } for kυ , ke are natural number. The associated weight of a vertex u, υ ∈ V (G) under f is w(u) = f(u) + ∑ uυ∈E(G)f(uυ). The function f is called a local vertex irregular reflexive k-labeling if every two adjacent vertices has distinct weight. When we assign each vertex of G with a color of the vertex weight w(uυ), thus we say the graph G admits a local vertex irregular reflexive coloring. The smallest number of vertex weights needed to color the vertices of G such that no two adjacent vertices share the same color is called a local vertex irregular reflexive chromatic number, denoted by χirvs (G). Furthermore, the minimum k required such that χlrvs (G) = χ(G) is called a local reflexive vertex color strength, denoted by lrvcs(G). In this paper, we will obtain the lrvcs(G) and characterize the existence of a graph with given its local reflexive vertex color strength.
Nowadays “community without closeness” does exist and makes the closeness to space is no longer important for social relations such as in formal housing in Jember Region. The housing area in Jember Region divided into two types, such as high density housing and low density housing which are influenced by their type of house. Qualitative analysis method that is used in this research are synchronic reading and typology. Synchronic analysis technique based on maps, observation, and interview to several source and used in this research to describe settlement pattern. In the fact, the community who live in formal housing prefer to spend their time in home without paying attention the socialization with their neighbourhood and using public open spaces. It makes segregation and weaken the social cohesion. Therefore, this research is needed to provide a social model of environmental space based on social interaction patterns and location points of interaction in low and high density formal housing in Jember region. Based on the result, it is known that the developer need to designing enclave on formal housing road spaces that are used for social interaction and control each other in housing security, according to the concept of defensible space and neighbourhood space model namely “Enclave Transpatial”
Jember downtown has pendalungan social phenomenon as a form of cultural assimilation resulting hybrid of Javanese and Madurese as a local community identity. Pendalungan communities occupy in kampongs in the melting pot with limited space that evokes the activity collectively as the potential of social cohesion. The result of previous studies on hybrid pendalungan only terms of sociology and culture. Based on the above phenomenon, this research is study about social cohesion potential of Pendalungan community at urban space integration in Jember. The research objective was to determine the specific characteristic of pendhalungan community as a potential of social cohesion and to know the concept of the urban space integration of pendhalungan community. The research approach used in this study was qualitative and quantitative. Qualitative research approach was used by reading the urban through synchronic reading to explore the potential of social cohesion of pendalungan community culture which has implications in the formation of urban space. The space integration was presented using the access graph. The result showed that the urban space integration had average height and the dominant form of asymmetry distribution. The formation of urban space in the melting pot no separation between forms a continuous space and forms a break up space, so is created social cohesion. This conditions strengthen the high value of the space integration supported its social cohesion potential
