Cross sections for vibrationally elastic scattering of the system e-C2H6 have been measured with a newly constructed apparatus of the crossed-beam type using the relative flow technique. Absolute elastic differential cross sections for C2H6 were obtained by measuring the ratios to the cross section for He at impact energies of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.5, 8.5, 10, 15, 20, 40 and 100 eV and angles from 15' to 130'. Integral and momentum transfer cross sections were calculated from the DCS and are compared with other measurements. A short description of the apparatus is given.

We propose a concept of transparent electrode for solar cells surpassing conventional transparent conductive oxide. Transparent electrode requires low electrical resistivity, high optical transparency, and high optical haze. Although transparent conductive oxide by chemical vapor deposition is widely used as a transparent electrode for solar cells, a breakthrough of the trade-off between electrical and optical properties is required for further improvement of solar cell efficiency. We demonstrate solution-processed electrode fabrication by using nanoimprint technology and metal nanoparticle ink. Silver mesh electrode is self-aligned on nanoimprinted texture with concave pattern as a template for mesh grid. Our electrode concept can realize desired high optical haze by nanoimprinted texture, as well as low electrical resistivity and high optical transparency by metal mesh electrode simultaneously, which boosts solar cell efficiency.

Mass-adoption of thin-film silicon (TF-Si) photovoltaic modules as a renewable energy source can be viable if the cost of electricity production from the module is competitive with conventional energy solutions. Increased module performance (electrical power generated) is an approach to reduce this cost. Progress towards higher conversion efficiencies for 'champion' large area modules paves the way for mass-production module performance to follow. At TEL Solar AG, Trübbach, Switzerland, significant progress in the absolute stabilized module conversion efficiency has been achieved through optimized solar cell design that integrates high-quality amorphous and microcrystalline TF-Si-deposited materials with efficient light management and transparent conductive oxide layers in a tandem MICROMORPH ™ module. This letter reports a world record large area (1.43 m 2 ) stabilized module conversion efficiency of 12.34% certified by the European Solar Test Installation; an increase of more than 1.4% absolute compared with the previous record for a TF-Si triple junction large area module. This breakthrough result generates more than 13.2% stabilized efficiency from each equivalent 1 cm 2 of the active area of the full module.

Forming gas (3%H2+97%N2) anneals result in decomposition of SrRuO3 and increase the leakage current of the SrRuO3/(Ba, Sr)TiO3/SrRuO3 capacitor. However, we show that 0.5% O2 addition to the forming gas (3%H2+0.5%O2+96.5%N2) does not cause degradation of the SrRuO3/(Ba, Sr)TiO3/SrRuO3 capacitor, and can also enhance the performance of the transistor effectively. To correctly study the effect of a forming gas anneal on the SrRuO3/(Ba, Sr)TiO3/SrRuO3 capacitor, efforts should be made to avoid the possible O2 diffusion from air into furnace.
