Resumo: O presente artigo traz o processo de construção e os resultados de um projeto de conclusão de curso realizado na área de design de produto. Este projeto tem como foco o processo de preparo do café e sua relação com o slow movement-movimento que apoia a prática de modos de fazer algo de uma forma melhor e mais devagar. O crescente consumo da bebida, com novas e diversas formas de preparo, é visto como uma oportunidade para produzir um objeto que interfira neste processo. A etapa selecionada foi a moagem e, portanto, é proposto o desenvolvimento de um moedor (grinder) manual. Este grinder compõe um kit, também, constituído por grãos de café divididos em dois blends, sendo possível o consumo individual de cada um ou uma combinação entre ambos. Deste modo, o projeto visa a entrega deste kit com o objetivo de despertar o desejo do consumidor e estimulá-lo quanto ao preparo do café como um ritual, uma experiência sensorial repleta de detalhes importantes para a obtenção de um bom resultado. O seguinte artigo apresenta o processo de elaboração do jogo de blocos de montar denominado Archbricks. Idealizado como material didático direcionado aos projetos de residências mínimas, o jogo foi proposto no âmbito de uma pesquisa desenvolvida no Laboratório de Estudos das Linguagens e Expressões da Arquitetura, Urbanismo e Design (LEAUD), vinculado à Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora, com o financiamento da Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de Minas Gerais (FAPEMIG). O principal objetivo deste artigo é evidenciar os conceitos e os processos envolvidos nas diferentes etapas de concepção, fabricação e distribuição do jogo. Metodologicamente, partiu-se de uma revisão de literatura, passando pela análise de produtos similares até chegar à versão final do Archbricks. O jogo foi produzido com auxílio de tecnologias de fabricação digital, mais especificamente com o uso de impressoras 3D, e sua distribuição é gratuita, via Internet. Assim, busca-se democratizar o acesso ao jogo, tendo como premissa a cultura maker e as noções contemporâneas de open source (código aberto) e de DIY (do it yourself – faça você mesmo).
