<p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh karakter kerja keras terhadap kemampuan literasi matematis siswa melaui pembelajaran model <em>discovery learning</em>. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan <em>True experimental design</em> dengan bentuk <em>posttest-only control design</em>. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Sanggau Ledo, Kalimantan Barat. Pengambilan data dengan melakukan tes kemampuan literasi matematis serta angket dan observasi untuk karakter kerja keras pada tiap sampel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa persamaan regresi mengambarkan persamaan regresi y ̂ = a + bx dimana a = 15.045 dan b = 0.830 sehingga dimasukan ke persamaan y ̂ = 15.045 + 0.830 x. nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. Sedangkan ketuntasan klasikal diperoleh nilai Zhitung = 1,89. dibandingkan ztabel = 1,645 dengan taraf kesalahan 5% atau 1,89 > 1,645, maka H0 ditolak. Artinya, proporsi siswa yang mendapat nilai TKLM lebih dari atau sama dengan KKM = 70 telah melampaui 75%. </p>
Abstract. One way to improve students' self-confidence is to implement a collaborative learning model. Improving students' selfconfidence using collaborative learning models can be done by conducting classroom action research. The subject of this class action research is the students of class X MIPA 4 SMA Negeri 2 Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta School Year 2015/2016 consisting of thirty two students. This study consists of two cycles. Technique Data collection used is test and non test. The instrument of this study is the test of student achievement and student confidence questionnaire. Data analysis techniques consisted of the conversion of qualitative data to quantitative and student mastery calculation. The average of student achievement before treatment is 40.3125 with the complete proportion of students is 3.125% and after treatment is 87.9167 with proportion of student which is complete is 100%. The average student self-confidence before treatment was 96.46875 with moderate category and after treatment was 109.2188 with high category. The results showed that collaborative learning model can improve student's self-confidence.
Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah True Eksperimental dengan desain penelitian Posttest Only Control Desain. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 6 Singkawang. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, angket motivasi, lembar observasi aktivitas. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini sebagai berikut: 1) Untuk menjawab sub masalah 1 menggunakan uji t independen; 2) Untuk menjawab sub masalah 2 menggunakan rumus effect size; 3) Untuk menjawab sub masalah 3 dianalisis berdasarkan skala likert; 4) Untuk menjawab sub masalah 4 dihitung berdasarkan rumus persentase aktivitas. Berdasarkan hasil analisis disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa antara yang menggunakan model pembelajaran snowball throwing dengan yang tidak menggunakan model pembelajaran snowball throwing dengan nilai thitung 7,9 dan ttabel 2,009 yaitu 7,9 > 2,0009; 2) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa, dengan effect size sebesar 1,83 yang tergolong tinggi. 3) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap motivasi siswa, dengan rata -rata motivasi belajar siswa yaitu 79,90 kategori sangat baik; 4) Terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran snowball throwing terhadap aktivitas siswa, persentase aktivitas siswa untuk pada dua pertemuan adalah 63,98% kategori tinggi.
Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui aktivitas belajar siswa melalui SPI pada materi persamaan garis lurus, mengetahui pengaruh SPI terhadap peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada persamaan garis lurus, mengetahui respon siswa melalui SPI pada persamaan garis lurus. Penelitian ini diadakan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Singkawang , penelitian ini menggunakan pre eksperimental. Rancangan one grup pre-test post-test design. Rancangan ini pertama dilakukan pengukuran berupa pre-test kemudian diberikan perlakuan dengan jangka waktu tertentu, kemudian dilakukan pengukuran berupa post-test. Instrumen tes berupa tes essay yang telah diujicobakan, reliabilitas sebesar 0,45 dengan kriteria sedang. Berdasarkan perbandingan hasil tes awal (pre-test) sebelum perlakuan dan hasil tes akhir (post-test) setelah diberikan perlakuan dengan menggunakan SPI, ditemukan bahwa hasil post-test lebih tinggi dari hasil pre-test yaitu dari rata-rata 34,26 dan 63,04. Hasil perhitungan untuk lembar pengamatan aktivitas diperoleh persentase perilaku siswa aktif lebih besar dari pada siswa yang pasif (83,95% > 15,61%). Hasil analisis terhadap respon siswa diperoleh jumlah persentase siswa yang memilih SS (Sangat setuju) dan S (setuju) lebih besar dari siswa yang memilih R (Ragu), TS (tidak setuju) dan STS (sangat tidak setuju) yaitu (84,71% > 15,27%). Respon siswa terhadap pembelajaran dengan SPI positif. Berdasarkan uraian yang telah dikemukakan, pembelajaran dengan menggunakan SPI pada materi persamaan garis lurus bagi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Singkawang terdapat peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep, aktivitas baik dan respon siswa terhadap SPI adalah positif (senang).Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Pemahaman Konsep, Respon, SPI I. Products developed in the form of Student Worksheet (LKS) mathematics on the number material for SMP class VII with problem based learning model. The development model used is the ADDIE model consists of several stages: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. Validation was done by 2 material experts, design experts and media experts. The Student Working Sheet (LKS) developed was tested in 3 stages, one to one learner with 3 subjects, small group trial try-out) with the subject of 6 students, field trial (field try-out) with the subject of 36 students. The results showed that the Student Worksheet (LKS) problem based on problem based learning based on the assessment: 1) the material experts obtained the average total of 3.98 included in the category of "Good" and if the percentage get 80% value so that included in the category " Valid ". 2) design experts obtained an average total of 4.00 which is included in the category of "Good" and in percent get the value of 80% so that included in the category "Valid". 3) media experts obtained an average total of 4.83 which is included in the category of "Very Good" and in percent score 97% so that included in the category of "Very Valid". Student assessments were conducted in 3 stages: 1) individual trials obtained an average total of 4.55 that belonged to the category of "Very Good" and in percent score of 91% so that included "Very Valid" category, 2) small group trial obtained total average of 4.65 which belongs to the category of "Very Good" and in percent get 93% value so that the category "Very Valid", 3) field trial obtained the average total 4.64 which belongs to the category "Very Good" and in percent score of 92% so it belongs to the category of "Very Valid". Thus, Student Worksheet (LKS) based on problem based learning on the number material in class VII is declared valid and practical so feasible to be used in the learning process by teachers and junior high school students especially material number.Keywords: Development, Student Worksheet (LKS), Problem Based Learning, ADDIE.
This study aims to develop LKS and knowing the quality of the LKS developed in the aspect of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The development of this LKS done on the material matrix of Class XI MIA SMAN 6 city of Jambi. This type of research is the development of research or Research & Developmet (R&D). This study refers to the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development or Production, Implementation or Delivery and Evaluations). Assessment instruments used in this development is LKS by expert validation sheet material, design experts, media experts, the evaluation sheet, pre-test and post test. The quality of LKS onaspects of validity views based on validation by experts that is meets the criteria is very good and very viable with overall average 4.14 as well as the overall percentage of 82.9%. On the practicality of views based on the results of the evaluation of field trials by students that is meet the criteria of good and viable with average 4.00 sera overall percentage of 81%. While on the effectiveness of views based on a calculation t count (t h ) from the results of pretest and post-test earned amounting to 23.39 and t table (t t ) of 2.02 so t h greater than t t . This shows that the hypothesis was accepted and acknowledged there were significant differences between the pre-test and post-test. Calculation based on the development of LKS based PBL was declared effective.
This study aims to develop learning and learning teaching materials. The research method used is rehabilitation and development (R & D). The development model of teaching materials used is the Dick and Carey model. This research was carried out in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education in even semester 2017/2018. Data collection using questionnaires, interviews and observations. The results based on validation by experts were categorized as feasible with the feasibility percentage for design validation 93.33%, media validation 93.33% and 95.4% material experts. Followed by a one to one response trial there are words that are difficult to understand and use and have been corrected according to students' understanding. In the small group trial the response was good and there was no improvement. Then in the Field Trial trial (field group) received a response that the implementation of learning was smooth and enjoyable, with teaching materials that were easy to understand and in accordance with the needs of the user. From the results of Validation and trials conducted, it can be concluded that teaching and learning teaching materials are suitable for use.
