Bu çalışma; Ortaokullarda işlenen beden eğitimi ve spor derslerinin sportmenlik davranışlarına olan katkısını bazı değişkenler açısından belirleyebilmek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Genel tarama modeli kullanılarak yapılan araştırmanın evrenini, Malatya ili Battalgazi ilçesinde, devlete bağlı ortaokullarda okuyan öğrenciler oluştururken, araştırmanın örneklemini; evrenden tesadüfü yöntemle seçilmiş, "Atatürk, Barbaros, Türk Telekom, Türkiye'm ve Vakıfbank" ortaokullarında okuyan 670 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak "Beden Eğitimi Dersi Sportmenlik Davranışı Ölçeği (BEDSDÖ)" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen verilerin analizi SPSS 20 paket programı yardımıyla yapılmış ve hesaplamalarda aritmetik ortalama, t-testi ve tekyönlü varyans analizi (ANOVA) testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda öğrencilerin ölçeğe verdikleri yanıtlardan hareketle, ölçeğin genel aritmetik ortalamasının beklenenden düşük olduğu, cinsiyet ve babanın eğitim düzeyi demografik değişkenlerine bağlı olarak öğrencilerin beden eğitimi ve spor derslerinin sportmenlik davranışlarına olan katkısı hakkındaki görüşlerinin birbirine denk olduğu, ancak sınıf düzeyine bağlı olarak öğrenciler arasında anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

This study was carried out with in order to determine the pre-competition anxiety levels of sportsmen participating in the Turkish Folk Dance branch in terms of some variables. The population of the study, which was carried out using a general screening model, consisted of 253 sportsmen, participated with the local halay dance in the group competition, organized by the Turkish Folk Dance Federation in city of Malatya, and its sampling consisted of 187 sportsmen chosen from the population by a random method. State (instantaneous) Anxiety part of the State-Trait Continuous Anxiety Scale was used in the study. In analyzing the data, frequency, percentage, standard deviation, arithmetic mean, t-test and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's test were used in the study to find the source of the difference. As the result of the study, it has been determined that the overall arithmetic mean of the pre-competition instantaneous anxiety state felt by the sportsmen, statistically was 2.34. A statistically significant difference was found in the research in terms of pre-competition instantaneous anxiety state of feeling of the sportsmen, depending on the variables of gender, age and folk playing time. Nonetheless, depending on the gender, it was determined in the research, that the sportsmen of 20-22 and 17-19 age groups, in favour of the female athletes and according to the age variable, the sportsmen who played folk dances less than a year according to the dancing time variable, felt more pre-competition instantaneous anxiety compared to the sportsmen of other groups.

This research was conducted for the purpose of identifying the colleague relations of physical education and sports teachers, support of school administration and job satisfaction levels for their professions in terms of certain variables. The population of the research, which was made by using general survey model, consisted of regular physical education and sports teachers working in Malatya city center. As for the sampling, it consisted of 80 volunteer physical education and sports teachers, randomly selected from the population. Colleague relations, support of school administration and job satisfaction scales were used as data collection tools in the research. Arithmetic average, t-test and one-way analysis of variance was used in analysis of the data. As a result of the research, based on the answers given by teachers to the scale, it was determined that general arithmetic averages of colleague relations, support of school administration and job satisfaction for their professions are at medium level. Also, it was identified that no statistically significant difference was present between the age, education level, marital status, seniority and the school they work and colleague relations, support of school administration and job satisfaction scores.

ÖZETBu çalışmanın amacı Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu (BESYO) öğrencilerinin, serbest zaman aktivitelerine katılım düzeyleri ile ilgili görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini BESYO'nun farklı sınıf ve bölümlerinde okuyan tesadüfî yöntemle seçilmiş 233 katılımcı oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada Balcı ve İlhan (2006) tarafından geliştirilen ve örneklemin rekreasyon faaliyetlerine katılım düzeyini belirleyen 13 soruluk bir anket kullanılmıştır. Anketin güvenirlik katsayısı (Cronbach's Alpha) tarafımızdan 0,76 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Anketlerden elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesi için SPSS 15,0 paket programı kullanılarak frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) hesaplamaları yapılmıştır. Dağılımlardan elde edilen sonuçlar tablolar halinde gösterilip bulgular yorumlanarak çözüm önerileri getirilmiştir. Katılımcıların genel olarak serbest zaman aktivitelerindeki tercihlerinin oransal dağılımı sırayla; futbol (% 43,8), voleybol (% 26,2), basketbol (% 16,3), tenis (% 11,2) ve hentbol (% 10,7) olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışmada yer alan öğrencilerin serbest zaman aktivitelerine katılım süreleri ay, hafta, gün ve saat olarak incelendiğinde; katılımın en çok yılda 2 ve 4 ay, haftada 2 ve 3 gün, günde ise 2 ve 3 saat seçeneklerinde yoğunlaştığı ve bu faaliyetlere bireysel girişimler neticesinde iştirak ettikleri görülmektedir. Katılımcıların çoğunlukla kendi spor dallarını daha iyi konuma getirebilmek için sosyal ve kültürel aktivitelerden çok sportif serbest zaman aktivitelerine yöneldikleri görülmüştür. Ayrıca üniversite yöneticilerinin, bireylerin kişisel gelişiminde ve sosyalleşmesinde önemli bir yeri olan serbest zaman etkinliklerini düzenleme ve öğrencileri yönlendirmede yetersiz kaldıkları sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Üniversite, rekreasyon, spor, öğrenciler A STUDY ON THE PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS OF SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS IN SPARE TIME (RECREATION) ACTIVITIES (İNÖNÜ UNİVERSİTY AS A SAMPLE) ABSTRACTThe purpose of this study is to determine the level of students of School of Physical Education and Sports to join the recreation activities. 233 participants receiving education in School of Physical Education and Sports in different classes and departments constituted the sample group of the research.
