Security is the most important aspect in any tourism activities. The number of criminal acts happened in Lombok were 1.315 cases during 2013. It might be happened because there was no community organization which plays as Kelompok Sadar Wisata (POKDARWIS) that focuses to prevent any criminal acts in Jerowaru area. Based on the gap, this study aims to understand description and effect of POKDARWIS to improve tourists' security. This study used monitoring approach, community participation, educational function of tourism awareness, POKDARWIS policy socialization to community, monitoring and evaluation. This study used descriptive analysis method and the data were collected through giving questioners to the respondents (local community). The result of this study was analyzed by using a simple linear regression. The result shows that there is an effect between POKDARWIS and tourists security in amount 17,1%. The rest of 82,9% were affected by other factors which are not discussed in this study.
This research aims: (1) to examine the influence of problem based learning models along with contextual-based videos on the learning outcomes of students in physics learning in sma (2) examining the influence of problem based learning models along with contextual-based videos on the science process skills of students in high school learning. The research model used is true experiment with posttest only control design research design. The research samples used are class X IPA 2 (experiment class) and X IPA 1 (control class) of Tamanan State High School. Data obtained include posttest results and science process skills scores. The data is analyzed with statistics consisting of homogeneity tests, normality tests, and independent sample t-test tests. From an independent sample t-test analysis obtained significantly (sig2-tailed) by 0,000 (0.000 ≤ 0.05), it can be concluded Ho was rejected and Ha accepted that there was a difference in the learning outcomes of the experiment class students better than the control class. This can be seen from the average posttest score of the experiment class of 72.48 while the average posttest value of the control class is 48.87. Based on the results of analysis of science process skills students through two experiments obtained scores in a row of 76.61 and 77.42 in the excellent category. Thus the problem based learning model accompanied by contextual-based video affects the learning outcomes and science process skills of students in high school. The learning model project based learning is an instructional model that can be applied to the STEM approach. Approach STEM (Science, Technology in, Engineering and Mathematic) is an approach that can be used in learning by using multiple disciplines. STEM approach in learning is very suitable to be applied in the curriculum in 2013 so that students are able to be more active, creative, and better understand the concepts taught in a material for a project which produced students in learning directly related to real-life experience of students in the everyday. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the learning model project based learning with STEM approach to the learning outcomes of high school students. The research was conducted in class X IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember, with 32 students at 15 male students and 17 female students. The method used in this research is the method pre-experiment design with one group pretest-posttest design. Collecting data in this study using the initial test and final test. Student learning outcomes obtained after application project based learning model STEM learning approach shows N-gain category was at 0.62. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan validitas E-Modul Fisika berbasis Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) pada materi bunyi di SMA/MA. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu R&D dengan menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). E-Modul fisika berbasis STEM dibuat menggunakan aplikasi anyflip dan dapat diakses melalui smartphone (android maupun ios) serta PC/Mac melalui link yang telah disebarkan oleh guru mata pelajaran fisika. Berdasarkan hasil validasi dari validator ahli dan pengguna, E-Modul fisika berbasis STEM layak untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran. E-Modul fisika berbasis STEM ini merupakan bahan ajar yang menjadi alternatif bagi guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran di era pandemi ini. E-Modul ini dapat mempermudah siswa dalam memecahkan permasalahan yang ada dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, karena modul ini terintegrasi dengan empat bidang STEM. E-Modul ini dilengkapi dengan ilustrasi, animasi, dan latihan soal yang juga terdapat penilaian mandiri untuk mengukur keberhasilan siswa dalam kegiatan belajar yang terdapat dalam E-Modul.
Online learning is one form of adaptation in the field of education to face of the covid 19 pendemic. Existing technology continues to be developed for both online meeting needs and digital learning media that is suitable to support distance learning systems. One of the lesson that is considered to be lacking in utilizing digital learning media is physics. The purpose of this research was to describe student’s response to the powerpoint animation media of the heat lesson in physics. The research method used as descriptive. The respondents of this research were students of grade XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Tanggul consisting of 32 students. This research uses data retrieval techniques through student response questionnaires consisting of aspects of operation/use of media and usage reactions. The results of the students’ response analysis to the use of powerpoint animation media amounted to 81,33% with details on each aspect was 81,41% on the aspect of media use and by 81,25% on the aspect of usage reaction. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be stated that the powerpoint animation media of the subject of heat received a very positive response from the respondents.
AbstrakBangunan cagar budaya adalah bangunan yang secara arsitektural memiliki kekhasan baik dari nilai arsitektural, estetika dan mewakili suatu simbol kebudayaan. Bangunan pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Salatiga merupakan sebuah komplek bangunan cagar budaya yang terdapat di Kota Salatiga, merupakan peninggalan kolonial Belanda, sehingga tidak mengherankan apabila bangunan tersebut memiliki karakter arsitektur kolonial yang membentuk identitas yang khas pada kawasan tersebut. Pembangunan selasar pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Kota Salatiga tidak terlepas dari status Kota Salatiga sebagai Kota Gemeente yang membuat Kota Salatiga maju dalam pembangunan fasilitas kotanya termasuk fasilitas pendidikan di Jalan Kartini yang diperuntukkan untuk orang pribumi. Perlu kiranya kini dilakukan sebuah studi mengenai tipologi dan konsep integrasi kawasan mengingat bangunan tersebut merupakan bangunan cagar budaya yang berada pada satu kawasan yang berdekatan, sebagai upaya peran aktif pelestarian bangunan cagar budaya dari segi akademis arsitektur. Untuk menjawab pertanyaan penelitian mengenai tipologi dan konsep integrasi pada kawasan bangunan pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Salatiga digunakan metode rekonstruksi baik secara bangunan maupun secara kawasan yang dilakukan dengan mencari data kesejarahan berupa foto maupun wawancara kepada narasumber yang kompeten. Dalam penelitian ini diketahui bahwa bangunan pendidikan di Jalan Kartini Salatiga merupakan tipologi bangunan arsitektur kolonial modern yang tidak memiliki integrasi dalam konsep penataan kawasannya. The quality of human resources are now in the poor level. By the diversification of people livelihoods (especially in ecotourism), it is possible to minimize the pressure on human resources. The purposes of this study are: 1. To analyze the social condition, economic and cultural community in the coastal resorts of South Malang Regency, 2. To describe a potential beach that has a chance to grow (development), 3. To describe the weakness and resistance of Tourist attraction management (planning and utilization), 4. To describe the opportunities of job opportunities in the sector of tourism services that will be utilized by the community around the tourist attraction area. Research methodology which was used in this study was Partisipatory Rural Appraisal approach (PRA), FGD (Focused Group Discussion), and SWOT. The target to be achieved in this study are: Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of Goa China beach when it is managed properly and professionally, Knowing the types of new tourism business opportunities which will be utilized for improvished families as employment opportunities (Guide, souvenirs seller, food and beverage sellers, etc.), and as policy recommendations on the development of coastal tourism to the government. The final conclusion is that the Tourist Attraction of Goa China has a negative value (-0.45) for the internal environment and a negative value (-0.35) for the external environment. Thus can be deduced that the position Goa China on Third Quadrant (difensif position). And it requires physical development, clean environment, and more public facilities, alternative businesses which needs to grow is mangrove cultivation and turtles breeding, and providing home stay, Internet network, and provision of unique souvenirs.
East Ile Ape has potential tourism site which is suitable to be developed. It covers mangrove forest, sea, volcano as well as kampung adat Lamariang which never been touched by any other parties. By development of tourism site, it can help East Ile Ape to enhance its people welfare. It can be done by developing a commercial ecotourism site. Ecotourism is the one of tourism activities which concerns on natural conservation. This study was conducted by using descriptive quantitative analysis technique and linear regression which were processed by SPSS. The total number of samples is 40. The result showed that the development of ecotourism is significantly correlated to local people welfare.
