Integrated science and integration of literacy skills are relevant issues to be investigated in science education. This research aimed at determining the validity of integrated science materials and examining the practicality and effectivity of the use of integrated science materials in the scientific approach. The type of this research was research and development. The development of integrated science materials consists of seven stages, namely identifying potentials and problems, collecting information, designing a product, validating the product, revising product, doing limited testing, and revising product. Instruments for collecting data included validity assessment, practicality assessment, written test, and performance assessment. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and paired comparison test. Based on the data analysis, there were three results of this research. First, the validity of integrated science instructional materials classified as very high with an average value of 83.2. Second, the integrated science instructional materials were practical according to the science teachers and students with an average value of 86.11 and 89.66 respectively. Third, the integrated science instructional materials were effective in the scientific approach to improving the aspects of knowledge and digital literacy including scientific, functional, and visual literacy at 95% confidence level. These results indicated that employing integrated science instructional materials could overcome the problem of integrated science teaching and improve the digital literacy of students in terms of scientific, functional, and visual literacy. These digital literacy components are also useful for students to get success in their real future life.
Pembelajaran PPKn dengan Kurikulum 2013 mempunyai visi, misi, dan tujuan yang baru dan jelas sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan tantangan global dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berbangsa dan bernegara di era milenium abad ke-21. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar, motivasi belajar yang tinggi, rendah PPKn antara model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan SAVI dengan model konvensional, dan untuk mengetahui interaksi model kooperatif Tipe STAD dengan pendekatan SAVI dengan motivasi pada hasil belajar. bentuk penelitian ini adalah menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif Quasi experimental design (eksperimen semu). Penelitian ini memakai dua kelas sampel, yaitu kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen. Pada kelas eksperimen diberi perlakuan dengan menggunakan model cooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan SAVI. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol tanpa menggunakan cooperatif tipe STAD dengan pendekatan SAVI dalam pembelajaran. Penilaian yang diberikan adalah penilaian test baik dikelas eksperimen maupun kelas kontrol. Hasil penelitian menjukan bahwa nilai Fhitung = 3,59 > Ftabel ( = 0,05) =3,30. Hal itu berarti bahwa Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima. Sedangkan Hasil pengujian korelasi berdasarkan perhitungan ANAVA di atas tampak bahwa nilai F hitung = 9,20 > F tabel ( = 01) = 5,34. Hal tersebut berarti Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima, dengan demikian hipotesis yang menyatakan terdapat korelasi antara pemberian bentuk teknik pembelajaran dengan dorongan motivasi belajar adalah terbukti sangat signifikan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan bagaimana adaptasi pembelajaran melalui E-learning yang dilakukan oleh dosen digital immigrant di Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). Hal ini menarik untuk dikaji, karena pada masa Pendemi Covid-19 telah mengubah sistem pelaksanaan perkuliahan di UNP dari tatap muka langsung menjadi tatap maya dengan memanfaatkan E-Learning yang tentunya bertumpu kepada penguasaan teknologi. Sementara itu ada sekelompok dosen yang lemah dalam penguasaan teknologi informasi, namun tetap harus mampu beradaptasi dengan kondisi saat ini agar proses perkuliahan tetap berjalan. Kelompok ini kemudian dikenal dengan istilah digital immigrant. Proses adaptasi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh dosen digital immigrant ini akan dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori struktural fungsional dari Talcott Parsons. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran, kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dosen digital immigrant memiliki keterbatasan dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran menggunakan platform E-Learning UNP. Bagi dosen digital immigrant sistem E-Learning UNP tersebut platform pembelajaran formal yang tidak sederhana dan tidak praktis digunakan. Namun dalam perjalanannya dosen digital immigrant tetap beradaptasi dengan cara terus belajar, sembari melaksanakan pembelajaran secara sinkronus menggunakan aplikasi digital lainnya seperti WhatsApp dan aplikasi video conference (Google Meet dan Zoom Meeting). Sementara untuk pemeliharaan pola sistem pembelajaran di E-learning UNP dosen digital immigrant meminta bantuan kepada sejawat dosen muda untuk menginputkan konten-konten tersebut ke dalam E-Learning. Namun secara prinsip, berbagai kebutuhan pelaksanaan pembelajaran seperti rencana pembelajaran semester, bahan ajar, media pembelajaran, soal ujian, bahan tugas tetap disediakan oleh dosen digital immigrant. Hal ini dilakukannya untuk pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran tetap berlangsung di masa pandemi Covid-19.
This article was written to analyze the effectiveness of the EXO OLO TASK Learning Model application in Geography learning on material of atmospheric dynamics. The effectiveness was reviewed from higher-order thinking skills improvement and the quality of student learning activities. This type of research is experimental research with the pre-post test group design which was applied in two senior high schools in Padang. The population of the research was all class X students who study Geography in these two schools. The selection of sample classes was done by simple random technique. The XIS 2 class was selected in SMAN 3 Padang and class XA for SMA PB. The number of students involved was 62. The application of the model was implemented in one basic competency. Data on higher-order thinking skills were collected by learning outcomes tests and data on the quality of learning activities obtained by the observation sheet. Data is analyzed by percentage techniques. The results showed that, 1) there were significant differences between the learning outcomes of the experimental class and the control class in the two schools. 2) the improvement in student learning outcomes is higher in the experimental class than the control class in both schools, 3) an improvement in the quality of learning activities marked by more students getting a score of 3 both in basic learning activities and advanced learning activities.
This research aim to increase the learning on subject integrated and to increase the activities students’ results on subjects Integrated Social Science by using jigsaw learning model at B eigth class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung. This recearch used Action Recearch Approach. The subject of recearch was the students of B eigth class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung. The procedure of Action Recearch Approach concisted of three cycles in which each of it concisted of four stages: planning, action/implementation, observation, and reflection. The recearch instrumens were observation sheets, notes worksheet, tesis and dokumentation. The data validity check was done by discussing with the expert of observers and corrector. The data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.The result of the of recearch found that 1) the students result had increased which could be seen from the average score of examination after cycle that were cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. This score had reached the expected indicators, that is or reached the criteria. 2) The learning activitiese of the B eight class studens on subjects Integrated Social Science by using jigsaw learning model had increased that was the activities score of cycle, cycle II, and cycle III. Based on the finding of the research it was concluded that the use of jigsaw learning model could increase the activities and the learning results of the students at B eight class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung on subjects Integrated Social Science.
