The aim of this study was to explore the role of teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) as motivator in political education. The research was conducted at State of Senior High School 1 (SMAN 1) and State of Senior of High School 10 (SMAN 10) at Padang City. This research had employed a qualitative research with comparative studies. The data were analyzed using data analysis techniques, data presentation, and concluding. The validity of the data was tested by source triangulation. The result showed that the role of Teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education not only educating the character of the nation's generation but emphasize the role of Teachers’ Pancasila and Civic Education as motivators in political education. Where the teacher as a motivator plays a role to give encouragement, enthusiasm, and intelligence to students in understanding political education. This research aim to increase the learning on subject integrated and to increase the activities students’ results on subjects Integrated Social Science by using jigsaw learning model at B eigth class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung. This recearch used Action Recearch Approach. The subject of recearch was the students of B eigth class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung. The procedure of Action Recearch Approach concisted of three cycles in which each of it concisted of four stages: planning, action/implementation, observation, and reflection. The recearch instrumens were observation sheets, notes worksheet, tesis and dokumentation. The data validity check was done by discussing with the expert of observers and corrector. The data was analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively.The result of the of recearch found that 1) the students result had increased which could be seen from the average score of examination after cycle that were cycle I, cycle II, and cycle III. This score had reached the expected indicators, that is or reached the criteria. 2) The learning activitiese of the B eight class studens on subjects Integrated Social Science by using jigsaw learning model had increased that was the activities score of cycle, cycle II, and cycle III. Based on the finding of the research it was concluded that the use of jigsaw learning model could increase the activities and the learning results of the students at B eight class of SMPN 14 Sijunjung on subjects Integrated Social Science.
Tujuan dilakukan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui keberhasilan Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) di Nagari Pematang Panjang, Kecamatan Sijunjung, Sumatera Barat dengan melihat bagaimana keberhasilan PKH ini dipengaruhi oleh keterampilan pendamping dalam P2K2 dan partisipasi Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan angket berskala likert dan analisis data menggunakan SPSS 21. Uji instrument penelitian dengan uji validitas dan reliablitas menunjukkan bahwa instrument valid dan reliable. Berdasarkan rumus Slovin, responden dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 131 dari total 194 KPM (Keluarga Penerima Manfaat) PKH di Nagari Pematang Panjang. Indikator variabel keberhasilan PKH sebagai variabel terikat adalah tercukupinya kebutuhan pangan, mampu memenuhi kebutuhan pokok, Meningkatnya pendapatan, turunnya beban pengeluaran, kemudahan akses pendidikan dan akses kesehatan, sadar pendidikan dan sadar kesehatan. Sedangkan indikator variabel keterampilan pendamping sebagai variabel bebas (X1) adalah keterampilan membangkitkan kesadaran masyarakat, menyampaikan informasi, membagi pengetahuan dan pengalaman, melakukan presentasi verbal. Sedangkan indikator partisipasi KPM (X2) adalah partisipasi dalam tahap pelaksanaan dan partisipasi dalam tahap pengambilan manfaat. Hasil penelitian membuktikan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterampilan pendamping berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan PKH yakni sebesar 23.8%. Partisipasi KPM berpengaruh sebesar 24.6% dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 0.00 sehingga dapat disimpulkan partisipasi KPM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keberhasilan PKH. Terakhir, keterampilan pendamping berpengaruh sebesar 18.7 % terhadap partisipasi KPM dengan taraf signifikansi yakni 0.00. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi keterampilan pendamping dan tingkat partisipasi peserta, maka akan semakin maksimal pencapaian tujuan PKH. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, perlu adanya upaya peningkatan keterampilan pendamping terutama dalam pemberdayaan ekonomi dan meningkatkan motivasi KPM untuk berpartisipasi sehingga dan pada akhirnya berpengaruh positif terhadap keberhasilan PKH.
Purpose of the study: This research was aimed at constructing a new theory of learning from traditional practice which could give a significant contribution to the educational model. This research was conducted to seek the theory learning and model of teaching of Pondok Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School with Salafi system) in South Tapanuli of Indonesia. Methodology: A qualitative research design was applied to seek the data in the Islamic Boarding School for constructing a theory of learning. This research applied an observation and interview techniques to collect the data from Islamic boarding school Darussalam Parmeraan (PDP) of the Dolok District of South Tapanuli, North Sumatra Province of Indonesia. Main Findings: Data revealed that Sorongan and Halaqoh techniques (circling forum in group learning and discussion models), not like the formal school model in the classrooms, have been more effective in two terms; solidarity and control. Sorong and Halaqoh have been preferred to be practiced in that Islamic Boarding School for many years. This study recommends that theory. Applications of this study: The data obtained of teaching methods in Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Parmeraan (PDP) give the alternative teaching techniques such as Sorongan in which learners put into the circling forum which makes the learners are close to instructors and Halaqoh where the Islamic teachings motivate them to learn more intensively. Those two techniques could be applied to formal school, not only in the Pondok pesantren area. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study offered the system of Pondok pesantren traditional practice of teaching techniques of Sorongan and Hallaq of Pondok Pesantren which have been originally rooted in Islamic teachings in Southeast Asia for modern schools. Those techniques could be transferred to formal school; as learning practice that gives democratic education and contributes to training learners in formal schools.
