This paper evaluates the presence of contents related to the ecological transition and the climate emergency in the Tourism degrees in Andalusia. To this end, the curricula, programs and teaching projects of the subjects were compiled and the competences and contents were analyzed. Finally, global and specific results (by universities or departments) have been obtained. The results show a limited presence of related contents and the absence of emerging concepts about global challenges and new patterns of tourism development.
The kinetics of replacement of H 2 O by [Ru(NH 3 )pz] 2+ (pz = pyrazine) in [Fe(CN) 5 H 2 O] 3− have been studied in various concentrated electrolyte solutions and in various water-cosolvent mixtures, at 298 K. Salt and cosolvent effects can be rationalized taking into account specific medium effects on both the encounter complex formation process and the ligand-substitution process, once the encounter complex is formed. These effects in watercosolvent mixtures depend on the solvation of the reactants by the components of the mixture, as well as on the solvent-solvent interactions in these mixtures. Salt effects seem to be related to a primary salt effect as well as to the effect of the cations on the electronic density on the iron complex.
There has been a spectacular growth in the escape game sector over the past decade. The extraordinary global impact of escape rooms, their implications for tourism, and the limited literature provide grounds for this research. This paper examines such phenomena using an empirical methodology based on a geographic analysis of business repositories and a global survey. Tourism plays a significant role in the escape room industry: approximately one of every three customers is a tourist. Escape roomer-tourists have even been detected: people who essentially plan their trips with the sole intention of playing these games. A significant contrast exists between business-owners and countries, however, as to the role given to foreign customers and the opportunities that all the above implies. Indeed, the connection between escape room narratives and the local culture has been shown to be weak in a majority of cases. Thus, this contribution seeks to feed into an emerging and increasingly relevant debate that has been little addressed in tourism geography: linking experiences, creative economies, authenticity and cultural heritage, etc. – through escape rooms.
Abstract. The present study analyzes the tourist activity of observation of the Iberian wolf in Spain as an alternative to other traditional tourist modalities in rural areas. The own experience within the sector has been crucial to understand its dynamics and develop this work. It studies the upward trend of nature tourism in general and the observation of the Iberian wolf in particular, the modus operandi of the activity is described and its main impacts are exposed. Wolf tourism generally provides benefits for the local population in economic, environmental and socio-cultural terms. Its compatibility with the environment and the intrinsic characteristics of the activity closely linked to a sustainable, fresh and offline tourism turns this sector into an interesting tool to mitigate the demographic, economic and social emptying of some areas of Spain. Key words: Iberian wolf, wildlife tourism, environmental education, local development, territorial intelligence, Spain.
